Thanks for the courtesy of a reply Ed002. I think we've done great business this window anyway. The squad looks much stronger in depth now with bucket loads of pace and versatility. I did want another centre half to come in, but only if they were an improvement on what we currently have. Keita will be a phenomenal player for us I'm convinced of that, but sadly looking more like Can will leave. Cheers again.

i have known Jimmy Bullard for a very long time. I'd just like to defend him a bit. A lot of people say these things and yes, sometimes he doesn't come across well but he's worked so hard through his career. From Gravesend and Northfleet when he didn't even look like a good footballer to playing consistently in the premiership and a call up to the England squad.
When being at his house he does come across differently, mainly when watching football. I've never seen anything like it. He doesn't watch football, he studies it. About 5 inches from the screen and can't even talk to him.

I think this sounds legit. whether we want to believe aspects of it or not.

Vvd wants to join Liverpool. I think that is public knowledge, but I also have that from another source that I trust and who has direct contacts to vvd.

Klopp wants vvd! We know this from what went on earlier in the summer, and from the fact that we didn't sign any old CB. Klopp wants vvd, and is prepared to wait for him rather than sign just anyone at CB, otherwise we would have bought someone at CB as money is not an issue right now.

So all it comes down to is politics. FSG apologised and don't want to renege on that. But once a market emerges for vvd they will go back in. Likely that will be January.

So regardless of decorators or not, I would expect us to pursue vvd in January if a market emerges. Even if it doesn't, fsg may decide that 6 months is long enough to flagilate ourselves.

Eds I know we have made serious missteps with vvd (and others from what you say) but business is business and I fully expect we will go for vvd in January (just as I expect Barcelona will. E back for Courinho. )
