Reports suggesting we are in with a bid of 52m for James.

I don't belive it. But if so it would mean a farewell to Coutinho I assume. ATM I'd rather keep Phil and see him drive from that new 8 role.

Good few papers going with it so its probably as reliable as a glass hammer, would be a good signing tho and keep coutihno too.

He's too slow, often poor work ethic with occasional motd moment.

James was only average when he played in goal for us. He'd be even worse now, he must be 50 at least!

I would still trust Migs over James ;)

James is a poor player. Doesn't track back, work hard off the ball, doesn't press and has a poor attitude, everything Klopp (and ZZ) despises in a player. No Thanks!

He might have kopped on a bit and got his head in tune with his body.

He was one of the biggest disappointments I can remember.

He was absolute class at Watford. But his bottle must have went after signing for us.

Chris Kirkland was another example.

Don't forget Scott Carson also, Dermot, although the Wally with the Brolly may have had more to do with his crisis of confidence!

Kirkland was more unlucky with injuries, to be fair. When he played, I remember him playing well.
