I still think there's a risk that NUFC don't manage to sign a decent striker, so they refuse to sell Isak. Behind the scenes they tell him he can go next summer once they've got a replacement.
Ok I know he can force the issue but I can imagine a scenario where he doesn't (not least if the lost transfer fee is bigger than the difference in wages over a year) .
Then we'll be in a real pickle, having let Núñez go already.
