We have decided to change the Teams page to be the Liverpool Match Posts page, so look for posts talking about the latest Liverpool match there.

But most of the posts still go to the Liverpool Banter page.

17 Jul 2019 15:23:43
Also more posts are being added to the Liverpool Discussion Posts and the More Liverpool Posts pages.

The coutinho rumours don’t seem to be going away and seem to be gaining traction on social media and with various media outlets.

This isn’t a question of would you have him back or if he fits the system, I’m just curious if there has been any contact at all between Liverpool and Barcelona or coutinho’s agent?

Believable2 7Unbelievable

There will always be rumours when gullible people are willing to believe them.

Would definitely have him back, we're looking a creative versatile attacking mid. he knows how we play, he knows the system, knows the club. He made mistakes in how he left, not that he did leave, that was his dream to play for Barca, fair enough. You live and learn. To have those goals back, and the assists he'd get playing with our front 3. We'd soon forget and forgive
HOWEVER, do I think he will come back, not even the slightest chance.

Agree2 3Disagree

{Ed001's Note - we've changed the way we play since he went, so he doesn't. People make up ridiculous reasons to want him back.}

17 Jul 2019 08:31:10
I'm curious now to be fair. Have the Ed's or anyone heard of any actual contact between us and Barcelona over a potential move back?

Agree0 2Disagree

17 Jul 2019 08:43:36
I don't think Barcelona will loan him when there is a chance to sell him and as it seems they need cash desperately. It doesn't make sense a loan move unless we are actually interested and Coutinho makes it clear that he will not move anywhere elese but Liverpool.

17 Jul 2019 10:14:48
So just to relay what I have heard the apparent 2 year loan with an 88mil option to but is basically a way for Barcelona to cut their losses and not have to pay us any kore money for Phil because they still owe us. you guessed it 88mil from the original deal the loan is a good way of protecting them selves from any added bonuses the would have to pay should he stay at them and they have any success. As for coming back he’s a very overrated player but he did do a lot at us with a lot of pressure on his shoulders I for one think he would do a great job in our midfield add some goals and play without pressure knowing he doesn’t need to carry us. If he does go missing from time to time wich he did we are more than capable of allowing for that in game with the rest of the quality we have.

Agree1 1Disagree

17 Jul 2019 10:27:08
Coutinho will NOT be coming back to Liverpool this window. Sorry. I’m not ITK I just know. Would represent terrible business for the club depending on what we’ve already received from Barca. Can’t see Edwards pushing this one. I’d let it go lads. As Ed says our system doesn’t suit him anymore. He’d have to seriously adapt and I don’t think it’s in his locker. I reckon he’ll end up at PSG as part of the Neymar deal.

17 Jul 2019 11:33:50
Ed1 I guess we have yes but not massively. he would know what is expected of him.
I'm not one for actually wanting him back, just that if he were to come back, I'd get over it and he'd definitely be a good option. He's a talented player and showed a bit more defensively too in his final years with us.
All hypothetical, he's not coming back, and he wouldn't even start most games for me. Front 3 don't get moved. And ox and Kieta get games in attacking mid.

Agree1 1Disagree

{Ed001's Note - it has been a major change actually.}

17 Jul 2019 11:46:51
He wouldn't fit us, would he? Not enough pace to play on the wing, not enough work rate to play in midfield. Suppose if Klopp wants to experiment with 4321 again he might get a look in, but that didn't turn out so well last season, so why would he? PC is a decent player, just not for us.

Agree1 0Disagree

17 Jul 2019 11:48:44
Again IF Klopp wants him back, IF, I'm sure he has a plan of how and where he use him. For me personally if it happens or not I'm not overly bothered either way.

Agree1 1Disagree

17 Jul 2019 13:07:45
I think you will see Coutinho back with us for 2 reasons, 1) he adds creativity into the attacking midfield, something we haven't replaced, 2) Barcelona still owe us £88 million and they cannot afford to pay that fee to us with their transfer plans. I have seen rumour of a 2 year loan with an option to buy for, wait for it, £88 million. We pick up his wages and then write of the debt after 2 years.
Considering the guy knows the club and most the players it would be a move that adds something to the squad for very little money.

Agree0 3Disagree

17 Jul 2019 13:32:05
It wouldn't be for "very little money". It would be for £88 million which is a hell of a lot of money.

We have moved on. We have improved. He is not what we need and I genuinely don't think there is any interest from us what so ever.

If you read the transcript of what his agent said during his interview he said there is no interest.

Lets just forgot Pipco and move on.

One of my mates is a Leeds fan and reckons Biesla attended the Bradford game to take a look at Ryan Kent. Do the Ed's know of any interest from leeds?

Believable7 1Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - Leeds have an interest in Kent and Wilson after losing out on others.}

16 Jul 2019 12:17:14
To loan or buy ed? A year under Bielsa’s tutelage could
make or break their careers with us, they could learn so much that could be of benefit to us, I think.

I guess that shows then Ed that a Klopp doesn’t rate either player to be back up wing options for the new season. Shame really imo as they both seem decent to me. I guess it’s another sign of the youngsters not given a chance and no doubt we will splash a good few million on replacing them with a similar aged player.

Agree2 6Disagree

{Ed002's Note - He has held on to them so he can take a look during pre-season - si we will see.}

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed025's Note - im not a fan either ted but he has to better than migs and karius, he does make the odd faux pas mate but that karius in the CL final was the worst keeping performance a country mile..

16 Jul 2019 20:27:42
Ed25, Lossl is totally dreadful and you trying to convince yourself that he is better than Karius or Migs, is tickling, really. If Migs is better than you as a GK then you have serious issues. Karius is better than Lossl by a long mile cos like it or not, Karius contributed to us having the best defence in the PL from Jan till May in 2018 and tho he made mistakes, he did a much better job helping us to the CL final than Lossl did keeping Hudd out of relegation. But it's your show and he's your GK and your problem now. Here's to success.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed025's Note - come on red wolf please tell the truth..karius is turkish delight!, the thing is you know it but cant for one second admit that a liverpool player may be poor or even down right crap past or present, im afraid it just enhances the reputation that most supporters elsewhere think of your fans mate, i suppose its just an ostrich factor and even though i respect guys who defend their players...there comes a time when you just have to hold your hands up and admit you are wrong....this is one of those times my friend..

I thought Cornet was not worth it either but the more I research him the more I start to see it. He is a bit rash in his decision making but his running in behind the defence is excellent. I think he could be a rough diamond.

15 Jul 2019 18:20:24
Well if anyone can improve him Jurgen can.

Agree4 1Disagree

15 Jul 2019 18:32:27
I’d rather we didn’t waste time negotiating with Aulas or money on a player we don’t need and who won’t improve our chances of winning the league. Question for me is whether he’s significantly better than Wilson or Kent and the answer is that he really isn’t as it’s not as if he’s tearing apart the French league, which bar the exception of PSG, Lille and Lyon and maybe Marseille is no stronger than the Championship. This notion that he can play as an attacking midfielder or play maker is well wide of the mark, when I’ve seen him play his first touch, decision making, passing and tracking back/ tackling are severely lacking to say the least. He is only effective on the break or against teams playing a high line. If we’re talking as signing him as support cast, I’d rather keep the money and take a punt on the players we already have in Wilson and Kent who play in similar positions.

Agree1 9Disagree

{Ed002's Note - It is Klopp you need gone then.}

16 Jul 2019 20:35:26
6Times all you seem to have for Cornet is ad hominem and personal attacks against him as if he stole your girlfriend or something. You seem to be unable to make a substantive case as to why you don't think he is good enuff. The fact that you don't even know the position (s) he plays or can play and a poster had to point that out to you, just proved my point.

Cornet plays on either side or at AM and played wide for the Ivory Coast at this year's AFCON so really, you have clearly never seen him play cos if you did, you would know tha and know that he ripped Man City a new one in the CL this season. We don't need him to be better than the front three. We need him to offer enuff when any of them need a blow and if we are well interested hin him means Klopp thinks he is up to it. I will trust him over you any day esp. with you having nothing substantive to add to the argument but personal attacks against him.

Agree0 0Disagree

16 Jul 2019 21:51:27
Pep loved him and thought he was very good when Lyon played city, so I trust him AND klopp see something worth buying.

Just read on BBC Sport that Coutinho has agreed a 2 year loan with option to buy to return to Liverpool. Seems to originate from an Italian site (which is bizarre in itself as he's a Brazilian playing for a Spanish side, moving (apparently) to an English side!

Believable5 9Unbelievable

15 Jul 2019 13:14:11
Sounds like BS to me. Still think we're a better team without him and I know we'd all like an Attacking Mid who can change games but I think I'd like one with more pace and with the knack of arriving late into the box and banging in the odd goal or 10 - on past form that's not really Couts game.

As if Barcelona will loan him for 2 years with an option too buy for 88million, honestly its laughable .

Agree5 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 13:33:33
Really see no upside to that deal for Barcelona, if it was just an option to buy. A commitment to buy would make more sense, especially if there was also a considerable loan payment made, but a) that's not what the article says and b) I don't think it's true in any way.

Agree0 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 13:52:44
A 2 year loan with an option to buy at the end of the loan would just be ridiculous from Barcelona's point of view. As a player he seems to be in decline.

So if he's worth £88 million now, he'll be worth less at the end of the loan in 2 years time. I also cannot see where he would fit into this Liverpool team.

Agree3 1Disagree

15 Jul 2019 14:13:01
Isn't the 88million the amount that Barcelona still owe us? So basically we can have him for 2 years and then keep him. To be fair I'd take him. he would of turned 1 of those draws last season into a win. at least 1. I know he left in bad circumstances, but we all make some mistakes in life. Hopefully there is a chance of him fekir or cornet.

Agree4 2Disagree

15 Jul 2019 15:07:52
The team were better after he left. I’d rather a player that fit us better. I’d also rather have the money barcelona owe us, Coutinho is worth far less then that. It’s worth keeping the books balanced so we’re ready when an alisson/ Van dijk comes along.

Agree3 2Disagree

15 Jul 2019 15:34:41
Personally I’d take him back in a heartbeat. Proven in the prem and no matter how it’s gone in Spain he is still a class player no matter what anyone thinks of him.

Agree1 5Disagree

15 Jul 2019 16:11:55
A two year loan with an option to buy isn’t that crazy, I think that’s what bayern had for James Rodriguez.
But I don’t think this would happen it will upset too many people.

He doesn’t suit our current play style as he holds onto the ball too long but he’s one of the best in world at breaking a team down when they play deep. A master of cute flicks and passes. His assist to Sturridge when he turned his back on the ball and let it roll over his heel was just ridiculous.

Agree0 2Disagree

15 Jul 2019 17:11:36
If you wouldn't have Coutinho back because of the way he angled to leave the club, fair play, understandable, but saying he couldn't improve the team or that he is in declined is outrageous. Do I think Barcelona would approve the above transfer? Nah. Would I have him back? Yes.

Agree3 3Disagree

{Ed001's Note - sorry but I disagree, he is not that good and we are better without him. Most overrated player around right now, for some reason people are blinded by him and seem to think he is much better than he is. I do agree he has not declined, he just isn't good enough.}

15 Jul 2019 17:26:48
The way I read it was that he "approved" of the opportunity to do it, no that it was agreed to by either of the teams involved or that it was nailed on.

Never thought he was good enough. We won the lottery when he left not just money the team improved he was a noose around its neck. Can’t believe we still talking about him. There is no one in our squad I would drop for him.

Agree2 1Disagree

15 Jul 2019 19:54:50
SG4EVA. With Coutinho in the team, we may have won a game or two that we drew, but some of those 1-0 and 2-1 wins were down to having 11 players completely grafting for the cause.

What I'm saying is that we may have won one of those draws, but also dropped other points due to him taking another valuable member's place.

Who would you have him play instead of? Mane? Henderson? Wijnaldum? He doesn't have anywhere near the level of commitment that those bring to our team.

Agree2 1Disagree

15 Jul 2019 21:02:22
The main thing people remember when you mention Coutinho is his goals from outside the box and quick feet in tight spaces. Besides those what else has he got? He doesn't put in a defensive shift, he can sometimes be a bit selfish and shoot when there is no chance instead of keeping possession and he developed a back problem wearing the weight of the red shirt 😂
I mean if it was really stress that caused his sore back, his back should be broken with how it’s worked out for him in Spain.

Agree4 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 21:30:28
I really want Coutinho back. He can rotate with the front three and if he does well maybe we can change from 433 to a 4231 as we did with Shaqiri.

Agree0 1Disagree

15 Jul 2019 22:56:40
Epic potato we had coutinho we didn't score 90 point or win the champions league. Those players you infer aren't as good did and went a whole season only losing away to Manchester City. Two great teams competed and Liverpool finished second if you want to blame anything blame the weather against Leicester the red card that wasn't against Leicester and the stone wall penalty that wasn't against Leicester. Rather than suggesting a player that wasn't good enough to compete at this level previously is now all of a sudden the reason why a team that well surpassed the teams he's competed in is the reason they didn't win the league. Pfft come on pull the ovther one.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 23:23:26
EpicPotato, I'd have Coutinho in the team ahead of Wijnaldum any day, Gini seems to be afforded the luxury of being useless away from home because he grafts a lot. Often people bemoaned our midfield last year for no creative spark and no goals, Couts gives you that.

People keep saying we were better without him, only because we used his money to buy VVD and Alisson, surely it's not because we finally rid ourselves of Coutinhos terrible football? He was great for us, him feeding Mane, Salah and Bobby would be great in my opinion mate.

Agree0 4Disagree

15 Jul 2019 22:50:10
Ed001 bang on the money he was a decent player in a n average team for years. Passing is ok his finishing is poor except from the one shot coming in from the left. Liverpool and klopp did great business in seeking him to Barcelona. I'd like to see the club strengthen the depth of the squad to compete in all competitions but that shouldn't be taking an expensive step back to take on a player that's average at best. The deals for the Dutch cb and that Fulham lad are a great step forward. 16 and 17. Hope that Brewster plays more thieves season and then there's origi and shaqiri so maybe that depth is there. Be an interesting season as the squad will be closer now and be European champions. Ox coming back lallana stays fit keita settles in ( glimpses of geniuses at times last year) . So it's a no for coutinho would like to see more goals from midfield but I'm being picky. Expect a quiet month.

Agree0 1Disagree

16 Jul 2019 05:11:18
SG84EVA, nearly every game coutinho played for us in a midfield 2/ 3, he was absolutely useless iirc. He drifted around aimlessly far too much instead of getting involved and our tactic was pretty much 'try and give the ball to couts so he can do something with it' because he was never going to try and get it himself.
He was far more effective out on the left, but he doesn't get ahead of Origi as backup out wide for me.

Agree0 1Disagree

16 Jul 2019 12:11:30
SG84EVA it's very easy to look at hard working midfielders and say they don't create anything but you would be wrong and you would most definitely not be considering their overall effect on the game.

The it running and pressing creates space for forward players as the opponent have to chase them around. In addition to this they win the ball back much further up the pitch which takes advantage of space.

Do they play the Hollywood killer passes? No but to say they create nothing shows a lack of understanding of the team element of football.

Agree0 1Disagree

16 Jul 2019 20:10:27
I've said this numerous times, coutinho flits in and out of games. Does nothing then scores a worldy. It was good business to get rid. If you can't make it in the Spanish league playing for the best team, you won't make it in the premier league. Though you have to give the lad more than one season to produce the goods.

Cou is history and should stay there, permanently. He is not good enuff cos if he was, why would Barcelona want rid of him? People don't ask that cos all they want is the good parts of Cou's stay here and not the bad parts. We were and are a much better team without him at every level and that much is clear.

"He can turn some of those draws into wins". You mean like he didn't do when he was here? That is just ludicrous. Sorry, I am not interested in Barca's sloppy second's and IMO, neither is Klopp. We are better without him as a team, a group of players and as a club. We have rallied after his departure and come good with flying colors so what would he be doing here when we are already better w/ o him? What will he add that he couldn't add before he left? People are yet to offer any response to this and other pressing questions.

Eds 001 there's rumours of Liverpool trying to get coutinho on loan for x2 years with a potential deal at the end of it . you heard anything about this and you think it's got any legs to it? I know you wouldn't be up to having him back and surely the way he downed tools and faked injuries to go must of left a sour taste in klopp mouth. x6 times 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.

{Ed001's Note - no, he just isn't good enough and they need money to buy players that are.}

15 Jul 2019 14:15:48
To be fair to him I think he did well when I watched them last season. Scored some decent goals too. Perhaps if he threw himself to ground and rolled around for fun the fans might appreciate him more.

Agree0 1Disagree

{Ed001's Note - sorry but that is not why they don't rate him. It is because he is half the player Iniesta was and did not do well most of the time.}

15 Jul 2019 16:05:16
Half an iniesta is still pretty impressive!

Agree3 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 17:35:58
Lol would take the legs and the brain. That's about half, right? But seriously, what's with everyone doubting Coutinhos talent? He's never been all that sound defensively and should never have been recognized as Iniestas replacement if that is indeed their expectation, but he has wands for feet and links play well. Sounds impossible from a financial perspective and I'm not sure Coutinho would be able to face the fans of Liverpool either, but the talent he showed here didn't just evaporate because he put a different jersey on.

Agree1 1Disagree

{Ed001's Note - wands? He simply doesn't that is the problem and he does not link play well either, which is why Barca want rid.}

15 Jul 2019 18:29:34
I usually agree with most player opinions you have ed but I have to disagree with you on this one. I think coutinho players excellent for us and scored some crucial goals and his link up with firminho was brilliant. Mind you I wouldn't really want him back after the faking injuries to leave the club but I do rate him highly as a footballer . I cannot comment on his Barcelona performances as I did not watch them enough.

Agree0 1Disagree

{Ed001's Note - he only linked with Firmino - everyone was whining about that before the injury started and that he was capable of hard work but most of the time wouldn't bother tracking back. Oh and that he would shoot 80 times a game from ridiculous angles to score once every few games. Suddenly when he goes everyone forgets all his bad points, which far outweighed the good.}

15 Jul 2019 19:19:14
All I remember of Coutinho in his final sesason was his sulking and constantly shooting from stupid angles when Mane, Firminho etc were in far better positions, it was glory hunting and selfish. That is exactly what I posted here at the time along with many others.
He also gave up working for the team. Putting all that aside, I do not think he is suited to the way Liverpool play now and that there are more dynamic, mobile players that fit the style we play.

Agree3 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 19:53:56
Wands for feet 🤣🤣🤣🤣 count on 1 hand the amount of times he performed magic for us. He was an is rubbish. He wouldn’t even get in the spurs team as eriksons replacement.

Agree0 1Disagree

16 Jul 2019 20:44:30
Ed01, the people who want Cou back by only remembering (conveniently) his few strong points, is like how people talk about high school years saying how great they were whilst at the same time, forgetting that High School was terrible for the most part. Just my opinion.

Agree1 0Disagree

16 Jul 2019 20:57:19
Disagree. coutinho is class, but not for us. does not work hard enough.
It's like appreciating harry kane, but appreciating he is probably the wrong striker for us.

Good morning. Can I ask, are the Eds aware of Manés intentions? He like Salah are linked with moves and if a winger coming on question is asked it's often if Salah or Mané leave. As we know what Salah would like to do and is apparently active in trying to achieve it. Is Mané the same? Is he happy to (basically) finish career here instead?

Believable1 0Unbelievable

{Ed001's Note - he has not made any waves about wanting to move. He won the Champions League, that was his dream in club football, he has one of his best friends in Keita playing alongside him, I am not so sure he would be actively seeking a move away. Equally though, I don't think he would be rejecting it out of hand. It would depend on if he felt it was right.}

15 Jul 2019 11:00:16
I don't see any big player moving this season or next. Just from a point of view of if you are going to leave it would only make sense to go to one of City Madrid Barcelona PSG Bayern or Juve, any where else would be a step down for a big player. At this moment all bar City are in the middle of big rebuilds. Bar money I don't see any reason to leave therefore, obviously money is a big factor but from a footballing perspective we are arguably with city the most attractive prospects in world football at the moment surely?

15 Jul 2019 11:40:07
Making predictions is a foolish idea but I just think Mane is not a galactico. He's extremely shy, and I think his position in our team is perfect for him where he's properly recognised as a match winner and a terrific player, but he goes about his business with minimal media attention and spotlight. I fully expect that he's very content with the life at LFC.

Agree6 1Disagree

15 Jul 2019 15:06:04
Thanks ED. He sounds like just a ‘normal’ situation then. I like Mane a lot as a player I’m glad to hear he’s settled and happy.
For me it’s difficult to see if any of our front three are more important than the others. Great situation to be in. I do believe we need cover that’s probably above the academy level but very happy to be proved wrong.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 15:11:12
None of our stars are leaving this summer. Not after a champions league winning season and not with Madrid pursuing other targets. Of our stars only salah might eventually leave (and even then, it would likely only be if Madrid don’t get Mbappe next summer or raise significant funds) . Any rumours you hear stating otherwise is nonsense.

Agree0 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 15:55:41
I don’t totally disagree but I just personally don’t get the ‘not Leaving UCL winners’. Why? It’s really rare to retain that tournament. If we get there again this coming season that’s three finals in a row. Just realistically doubtful. So if players want to taste that again you’d look at Madrid or Barcelona maybe Juve and Man City. As much as I can’t see us losing especially over two legs I also can’t see us retaining. Odds too high. But staying for the Prem title I can see that after last season, depending on how the rivals continue to improve.

Agree0 3Disagree

15 Jul 2019 19:14:26
"Not leaving the UCL winners" is the most ridiculous statement I've seen here. Ronaldo won it with Real in 2016/ 17/ 18 didn't he? Will someone remind me where he played his football this season just gone by.

Agree0 0Disagree

16 Jul 2019 20:48:39
Irishman, false argument. Ronaldo played at RM for 9-10 full seasons and did not leave them until after winning his FOURTH CL trophy with them so your argument is a dishonest. Maybe Mane wants to win a PL and another CL with us before he leaves or do you not think the argument can go the other way? The fact of the matter is as Ed01 said, Mane won the CL, a dream he had as a kid growing up so yes IMO, he is not agitating for a move at least for this season. Next season may be different. Same foe Salah.

Agree0 0Disagree

17 Jul 2019 11:57:36
If he's achieved his dream maybe now he thinks its exactly the right time to move on. Leave a winner. Take off the Liverpool tinted glasses and realise that this is a job to players. If Mane, Salah, Bobby, Virgil or Allison think a move is right for them then they'll push for it. Don't be kidding yourself that it's any different with our players.

Hi Ed002

You've mentioned our interest in Chukwueze, just wondered if our interest remains and is he obtainable and if he would be cheaper option to Cornet please?

Believable1 2Unbelievable

{Ed002's Note - He would be at least double the price of Cornet - interest remains but there is plenty of interest from elsewhere.}

14 Jul 2019 20:09:34
Ok Ed fair enough, thank you.

Agree1 1Disagree

{Ed002's Note - Unless Salah were to leave there is no chance.}

14 Jul 2019 20:17:07
Meant to ask also, do you think the AFCON could be holding up us pushing for the likes of Cornet, possibly Pépé?

Agree1 1Disagree

{Ed002's Note - No.}

14 Jul 2019 20:53:41
Right ok. So Cornet possibly as he is in the bracket of cover, however Chukwueze is an expensive starter in the same bracket as Pépé and only an option if someone leaves like Salah or Mane.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - That is simplification - and you have forgotten that Pepe replaces Salahe and then gets replaced by Mbappe - who gets replaced by Dembele. And you have skipped Coutinho all together?}

14 Jul 2019 21:12:21
Lol right ok Ed.

I knew I was pushing it. I’m not one that believes or even thinks the likes of Mbappe Dembele Coutinho is arriving. Just going on we’re you have said we have interest in which are the 3 names I mentioned Cornet Chukwueze Pépé etc.

I guess we will see what develops soon enough.

Agree2 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - Right. But I expect Salah to stay.}

14 Jul 2019 21:55:00
This is all very well and good, but when are we buying Simao, Snoogy Doogy and Bozo Texino?

Agree3 0Disagree

14 Jul 2019 22:06:25
And Mane also I hope?

Agree0 2Disagree

14 Jul 2019 23:28:46
So you are saying Simao is coming in to replace Lallana.

14 Jul 2019 12:40:59
Reading the digital rags this morning (not something I usually do) read real madrid put an offer in for manè I wouldn't be surprised as he is awesome but would be a massive kick in the nuts for salah if it was true I would definitely be more worried about losing manè than salah but I take it with a pinch of salt got to be flattered that our players are linked with other top teams.

Believable3 3Unbelievable

14 Jul 2019 13:55:10
I don't think Hazard will appreciate playing second fiddle to Mane. Also Junior plays in the same position for Real also.

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - But that is not where Hazard will be playing.}

14 Jul 2019 14:19:02
Will Hazard not be playing from the left of the front 3 Ed?

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - That is not their plan right now.}

14 Jul 2019 14:45:33
Thanks Ed002 for clarifying. Do you think they are still interested in Mane for this summer?

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - Yes. They want a left sided forward and interest in another option has faded.}

14 Jul 2019 15:55:50
doubt there is any chance we would be interested in selling. don't think madrid have 200 million £ for Mane.

Agree9 0Disagree

14 Jul 2019 17:08:43
Sory Ed002, I know it’s not Liverpool but where do they plan on playing Hazard?

Agree0 0Disagree

{Ed002's Note - AM.}

14 Jul 2019 17:58:04
How can they buy what they have and mane, and Barcelona have got greizmann and still looking at neymar! Madness in Spain.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 07:09:07
Not worried about Mane leaving at all. Real won't pay the asking price so its a non starter. If they are not willing to pay what Utd want for POgba, they can forget about Mane and do one coz Mane will be even more expensive.

Agree1 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 12:40:50
Was bound to happen the moment we hit the highest level of performance and started winning things. Happens to all the teams. Just a matter of the club tying down their players for as long as they anticipate needing them. And even then, it's not always a sure thing, as we're all seeing with the Griezmann and Neymar situations.

Agree0 0Disagree

15 Jul 2019 12:41:04
Not worried in the slightest.
