I may be mad but I think we have a chance tomorrow, I am of the opinion we are due to score a hatful against someone and why not tomorrow? Tonight’s results give us a window of a free hit, if we win I reckon we can go on and win both. We need to throw the kitchen sink at them and see what happens. Grab an early goal and it changes the whole tie.

Supporting this team will always give me the hope that anything can happen and fingers crossed we pull it out the bag.

I'd back us if it was at Anfield, but with it being away, it's tough to see us hitting 3 or 4 without reply.

Fingers crossed though.

Just don’t make a fool of ourselves again. Put in a performance that everyone can see we have given it a good effort.
Sometimes you lose, that’s football. But you can’t play like we did at home against Atalanta, that was embarrassing.

If we are to win tomorrow the coaches need to give their heads a wobble. This slow build up, slow passing, non pressing inverted full back rubbish has to stop. A right back and left back giving width, high pressure, fast pressing and relentless pushing foward is the only was to win that tie. Blow them away in the first half hour and make them scared to come foward . The first ten minutes will tell a story. I have a horrible feeling nothing will change though , more of this dire Lijnders ball to come I fear .

Arsenal loosing to Villa rubs salt in the wound. And not just as it means we would be clear at the top. Its as Arsenal were the last team standing to stop City. that's 115 charges FC with another title. And it looks like the rules will change for punishing FFP breaches before there case is closed. So no points deductions will be coming there way, just a fine or " tax " as its being called, distributed to other teams in the league that have played by the rules. Strange how this change comes just a story are about to be punished.

Its a disgrace . What's the point of fining a team with infinite money. They will do this forever more now. As will Newcastle as will Chelsea. Corruption at its finest . Football is dead as we know it.

The shakes billions are not the reason we lose 1-0 at home to palace!

15 Apr 2024 08:00:12
I thought it was decided the rules would remain in place for next season too?

17 Apr 2024 10:32:16
If you get caught driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone you will be punished - even if the 30mph zone was changed to a 40mph zone in the meantime.

Historical breaches won't be wiped out by the rules changing - they will still have broken the rules in place at the time.

Can we have a conversation on klopp these past few games or while? To be blunt because if it were any other manager we'd say the same, Klopp seems absolutely clueless the last few games. Sheer mediocrity on his part. The team selections and substitutions are kind of hilirious in a way because they've been THAT bad. There's certain players you see having absolute stinkers and you simply have to take them off before they cost us. Klopp persists with them and it kills us. It's in my opinion cost us likely the title. Such poor decisions have clearly also taken a mental toll on the team.
Everyone knows my opinion on the inverted system. It's garbage for the players we have and we've luckily got the results but with time everything reveals itself eventually. Flaws are outed.
The light shouldn't be shone on nunez, Jones etc. The man navigating the ship is to blame imo and controversial, if you can't get it right with 8 games to go and with that group of players it really is time to move on.

Its hard to be critical of Klopp, yes he's tired, worn out, tired of what you sign a deal to 2026 and within a year something has dramatically changed. So what changed, built a mansion in Spain, wanted for the Germany job. Its going to play out, within a year he will be back as manager of Germany or Barcelona or Real madrid. It seems maybe some broken promices tired out Klopp but his future certainly seems to be heading in a controlled direction. If he had the financial backing of city or chelsea he would probably have 3 leagues and maybe more. Klopps a very nice guy and has never pointed the finger at anyone he's only ever protected the players, i just can't help feeling the using of Endo and Jones etc is his way of saying to FSG with all the money you have made out of LFC you forced me to buy from Lidles when City, Chelsea Utd etc were out buying from Harrods, yet i turned Bobby and Salah and the likes of Milner into world beaterrs, here i am again and you want me to repeat the same trick when you got the likes of Mbappe and Bellingham dieing to play for me. Well it seems they will. In Madrid, for Real Madrid.

Mizer if it weren’t for Klopp we wouldn’t be anywhere near a title challenge so why don’t you stop whinging mate?

We’ve had a few poor games, that’s it. You can throw blame around all you want but you just sound like a spoilt brat.

How dare they lose. Sack them, sack them all. I do not accept the team I support losing any games whatsoever. I only accept glory.

It’s football mate, sometimes you just have a poor run of form. Nobody has to be to blame it’s just part of the game.

14 Apr 2024 21:37:56
Not good enough mizer. Obvious things like the line up against Atalanta, we knew that was probably our last chance at some silverware, and dare we say it, we chucked the competition to rest players for Palace.

I said last week on here there’s an aura around the place that the season was done. Today confirmed that.

14 Apr 2024 21:38:26
What would you have him done different? Players have been out injured. Don’t blame systems for not scoring sitters. He has picked teams that despite playing slow possession crap it has created enough chances for the forwards to score and kill teams off.

14 Apr 2024 21:38:56
It's on the players for me. These are the players that have got us into this position. It's the players that have scored the goals previously.
I believe we've punched a little above our weight but such good progress from last season.
I still believe we need a better holding midfield player. I love Endo for what he brings but we need more that that at 6.
Gakpo needs a run at left side.

14 Apr 2024 22:30:22
another poor team performance . too slow, not just gone off the boil, more like Tepid,
so many games played, maybe its taken its toll, we don't seem fresh at all, passing was awful, again,
we need to rest both Salah and nunez, they are bringing nothing at the moment, maybe they need a few days rest,
after that disaster on Thursday night, don't think Klopp got the meno, there is something wrong,
is it Klopp and staff going and just who is coming in,
well I thought that they might want to impress,
OK, now to the next two away games,
dont want to sound negative, but we could lose both games,
so we need to re group, put out our best team for both games, and go all out .
I still think that we can finish the season on a high,
yes I know, seems unlikely, but let's at least try,
big bonus to have Ali and Trent back, we just need to move the ball a bit faster, maybe rest Jones for that,
ok let's pick ourselves up, and be more postive .

14 Apr 2024 22:43:38
yes, Klopp is part of the problem, yet he is the best manager we have had in a very long time, maybe he is checking out a bit alright, team selection and tactics have been strange, players having a couple of bad games, then still picking them,
biggest one for me is this inverted right back, all the best teams have a proper right back, where was Gomez on Thus night when we wanted to pass that way and no one there,
Gakpo did well enough on the left wing role to warrant another game there, play him there on the 2nd leg Thus night and Diaz on the sunday game, which could be a hard watch,
but we really need to show up for both games .

15 Apr 2024 05:02:34
I agree that Klopp is currently part of the problem. So many players are out of form so that indicates to me that it is a system/ tactical issue rather than it being an individual or personnel one. We started the game yesterday so slowly and Crystal Palace were all over us in the first half. Someone commented that their attacks were like a hot knife through butter and I fully agree. We were so easy to get to in the first half and it would not have been surprising if we had conceded more.

The second half was slightly better and we dominated more but still could not finish our chances. Our build-up play was still slow, almost like we were trying to pass the ball into the back of the net. I would have liked to see more energy and urgency in our play but that was sorely missing. The only player I felt who was trying to force something was Robertson and it showed since most of our meaningful attacks came from the left, especially in the first half.

Personally, I feel that we have the players to turn this around. They were the ones that got us in this position in the first place. But we need to see a return to the fast and direct football that got us here. No more of this more measured and reserved style that just hands the initiative to our opponents.

15 Apr 2024 07:16:20
The man has given all he has he has nothing left.
This is were pep linders comes into play but he is probably thinking about Ajax . You can not play teams of the park then rolloverlike a pupydog pep won't get his salary for the year as he put with this rubbish system never worked from day one and klopp needs a kick in the town halls for playing like this.

14 Apr 2024 19:06:02
It's weird how it felt Crystal Palace's goal was like one scored in a training match.

14 Apr 2024 22:34:30
thats how it was for Palace in the 1st half, we played even worse than Thus night,
how did we miss so many chances,
if our next manager watched that game, he is looking to bring in a few players, and letting go of a few too,
is there something going on, like a mental thing,
we need to wake up, we are Liverpool .

14 Apr 2024 18:52:38
Well, what do ya know? I guess misery loves company.

I cannot believe we would have bettered our goal difference against Arsenal after that shoddy display! Well, we both handed over advantage to City now.

14 Apr 2024 18:45:10
Robertson, "The boys in front of goal have to do better", 'we had enough chances to win two or three matches'
