apologies to benny baller and the rest of the lads. my last comment came across totally the wrong way. i said about the charity match let's do it properly. it wasn't to take away from all the hard work done or belittle anyone.

all i meant was i am not involved but love what you are all doing and would quite happily pay towards a football kit that can be used again and again. hopefully it could be used over and over and the members of this site can carry on doing such a marvelous thing each year.

apologies to all and i doth my cap to all involved x.

Karius
Robertson VVD New signing TAA
Keita Henderson New Signing
Salah Firmino Mane

There's a couple pieces of the puzzle left for Klopp to sort out, but we're very very close now.

Fekir for the creative midfield role. Can't see Tarkovski starting for us if he signs (macca says we're interested) . Perhaps a RB like Benjamin Henrichs to rotate with Trent would be good and that way we can allow Joe Gomez to move into CB for the season if need be.
So my team would be:
Karius
Henrichs (rotate with Trent) Lovren Van Dijk Robertson
Keita Henderson (rotate with Ceballos) Fekir
Salah Firmino Mane.

What's up guys!

Always a good day when the mancs win nothing and Mou and their fans are in complete meltdown mode esp. cos now, they have now become RM and CR7 fans and will be watching us next week with jealousy and baited breathe, hoping we lose. Yeah, and yet they say they are not obsessed with all things LFC.

Having said that, the real reason I wanted to post this was regarding the CL final and how we are NOT the favs. by and large. I just saw today the the "mighty" Eintracht Frankfurt (who have won nothing in 30 years) went into the German Cup final vs Bayern as lambs to the slaughter. Result? Eintracht wiped the floor with Bayern 3-1 (scored the 3rd goal in an empty net) for one of the biggest upsets in German Cup history in recent years. I bet you they told Frankfurt that they need not turn up for the game, yeah? I can see us doing the same vs RM as some of their fans are not arsed about LFC and are looking forward to their team taking us to the woodshed. Keep talking trash, RM fans cos trust me, you may get exactly what your trash-talk deserves. #TakeThe6th!

honestly im hoping we turn up with our A game. Weve had some duds this season but the champions league seems to suit us are style of play and I doubt real madrid will set up defensively, its going to be fire vs fire. If real madrid do plan to be denfensive then its going to be a brighton result as I don't think they're good at being defensive.

Great game today and great to see anfield becoming a fortress agen.
We are the only team in England to have not lost a home game this season in the league.
IMO ad whined Marcelo and Ramos up in the final both a red cards waiting to happen, even tho a think we will win it anyway.
Next season we push and get our long awaited league title, come on u mighty reds it really is a good time to be a Liverpool supporter we are on an upward spiral with a great young team.
Bring on may the 26th YNWA.

So happy for Solanke!

Hopefully this goal gives him the confidence to kick on!

Get in, could have been 10-0. I thought Solanke had a great game, not everything came off for him, but some nice flicks, a lovely assist and a very well taken goal. Giving how fickle fans can be this season, hopefully that gets them off his back for a bit. There’s definitely a player there, one whom I think, could really suit our style of play. All I’ve seen is posts about loaning him out and buying a replacement (Jesus Christ someone even suggested Crouch, who while a favourite of mine is 37 years old, madness) I’d rather he was developed at the club. They’ll be plenty of games next season and he’s only 20 years old. Look at how far Gomez and especially Trent have come, whom while still prone to the occasional lapse in judgement, have improved hugely. Anyway, regardless lads, fantastic day and exciting times ahead. YNWA.

Really made up for him. Not only was it a goal, it was an absolutely top notch finish.

So happy for Robinson too, to finally get a goal in the last match of the season. Doesn't that mean every regular outfield player has scored now?

Though it's only half time, there's already so much to talk about!

1) Salah, what a player, what a season.

2) Mane, actually having a very good game, and he's gliding past players with ease again. Just 2 poor decision. Should have squared it to Firmino, that's a goal. Shouldn't have squared it to Salah (did so probably due to the 1st incident), that's another goal.

3) Solanke, best game in a red shirt with some good touches, passes and runs.

4) Team looked so much refesher and sharper. Keep it going, stay injury free, and wrap up the CL spot and onward to no. 6!

5) Referees, shocking! 2 handballs, 1 high boot and 1 tackle that took out the man in the box. Called none of these decisions. Goalkick given for the block on Firmino's shot. If the tackle on Salah was a 'touch on the ball', I cannot see how the block on Firmino's shot is not a touch on the ball.

6) Commentators (i think i'm hearing MSNBC), equally shocking! They are either not watching the same game, inventing new rules and interpretations or don't know much about the game. How they defended the referee's decisions is as bad as the decisions itself.

Oh, and that one time when Karius touched the ball, they felt compelled to say, 'it's interesting having him in goal, you never know what he's going to do'. Really? Ever since Karius has been in goal, I've become very certain about that to expect from our GK. Migs certainly was the one that he didn't know what he was going to do right?

7) Rafa. Thank you.

8) Klopp. THANK YOU!

Not sure what counts as a penalty any more. Two stone wall shouts not given.

Refereeing is piss poor, usually I hate it as an excuse but it’s been consistently poor not just for us. It keague wife. We slate forfeit refs but they’re far better, the union etc defends refs tho, every channel/ news paper will have a retired red go over decisions and larlgely agree with the wrong decision. What bugs me most is the inconsistency.

13 May 2018 15:51:43
Kevin Friend is determined not to give one. He was looking straight at Salah when he was brought down. Incompetence of the highest order .

13 May 2018 15:56:55
Defender nicked the ball before hitting Salah. First penalty call was an absolute clearcut handball IMO.

13 May 2018 15:19:13
Refs been shot first 20.
