Hello Eds. Who do you think or who would you like Liverpool to sign to help shore the problems we have at the back being as realistic as possible thanks eds.

welshman1971

{Ed002's Note - Stefan de Vrij could yet be a good January option and Benedikt Howedes might be another if Juventus don't take up their option - and they could potentially let him go in January. I am expecting Perr Schuurs to join at 18 - not first team right away but one you may see as part of the squad reasonably early on.}

1.) 06 Nov 2017 16:02:23
Howedes would be a great signing imo ed.

2.) 06 Nov 2017 16:41:49
Either of those would be a potentially good signing in my opinion.

3.) 06 Nov 2017 18:25:52
De Vrij for me.

4.) 06 Nov 2017 20:28:25
Perr Schuurs who is he Ed never heard of him will google him now. think de vrij could be a decent option thanks for your reply Ed.

5.) 06 Nov 2017 21:40:56
I know it's off subject but isn't Nathaniel clynes injury a bit weird I don't even think he is injured, wid eds saying we want too get rid of him an obviously klopp must want rid, seems strange he got such a longstanding back prob.

6.) 06 Nov 2017 22:33:05
I imagine there is something going behind the scenes with Clyne atm Hailstones, probably best not to talk about it/ him until we know the facts!
Perr Shuurs is a new name to me also but any acquisition would be welcome!

7.) 06 Nov 2017 22:45:43
Is howedes getting games for juventus, they don't seem as hot in series A this season, Lazio are flying though with de vrijs an Lucas leica.

8.) 07 Nov 2017 05:42:30
Hi eds, how about Jemerson and Kamil Glik from Monaco? Both CB are highly regarded in Ligue1. They have 1.88m Terrence Kongolo too.

{Ed002's Note - These are simply random names - not players Liverpool has any interest in.}

Hi Eds, quick question why are there no more sharkopods? . really miss them.

welshman1971

{Ed002's Note - They are not wanted any more on the Liverpool page. I am banned from some other pages so they won't be getting any either. Macca has provided an update so there is transfer news - but I have not seen it and I am told these are not "done deals".}

1.) 31 May 2018 14:23:39
Can I give you my personal email address please Ed, I for one would love to hear a sharkpod from your good self. Wouldn't even bother with any follow up questions. I know I'm not alone and really appreciate yours and everyone's insight. I appreciate what gets said is to the best of your knowledge and fully understand that things can change very quickly. Just really interested in hearing any transfer activity that is associated with Liverpool especially, and any other club for that matter. Keep it up Ed, greatest respect to you and everyone on this site.

{Ed002's Note - I don't have the time to do personal Sharkopods I am afraid and my emails are all dealt with by my PA who answers or deletes all but a few urgent "business" related matters.}

2.) 31 May 2018 14:41:15
Translation- ed2 gave us his time and effort and a few morons ruined it for all of us. I can understand his frustrations, it just really sucks for people who come on here for genuine information who are respectful but these things are unfortunately inevitable when trolls can hide behind a keyboard. I appreciate Macca as I do many posters and those in the know but ed2 is the absolute authority on football information.

3.) 31 May 2018 14:43:44
Sounds like a good job Ed002, can I be your PA? Iโ€™ll even throw in a cup of cha on top of deleting most emails. Deal?

{Ed002's Note - I have a PA thanks and she is very good at deleting mails.}

4.) 31 May 2018 14:54:03
How about just a musical Sharkopod as a treat to us Ed002? ๐Ÿ™.

{Ed002's Note - That is a maybe Ron.}

5.) 31 May 2018 14:58:35
Is her name miss moneypenny?

6.) 31 May 2018 15:22:24
What about a baby sharkpod Ed002.๐Ÿค“.

{Ed002's Note - My kids are all grown up man.}

7.) 31 May 2018 15:44:19
Ed I enjoy your taste in music, can you dj at my wedding?

{Ed002's Note - I would love to come to Honolulu to provide my services. I can't do all of that ick-ick-scratch-scratch stuff with the turntable though.}

8.) 31 May 2018 15:51:36
I definitely have time in my life to listen to a music only Sharkopod. Do it for the fans Ed.

9.) 31 May 2018 16:32:48
Good to see your frequent posts Ed2. How are you? hope life is treating you well!

{Ed002's Note - I am fine thank you.}

10.) 31 May 2018 17:11:15
Glad to hear that Ed!

11.) 31 May 2018 17:48:43
Musical Sharkopod would be excellent stuff.

12.) 31 May 2018 22:21:59
Thanks Ed002 ๐Ÿ˜Ž.

12 Pack of Miller in the fridge nervous already can't wait for 3.45 tomorrow Argie time Come on boys bring it home.

welshman1971

1.) 25 May 2018 20:34:26
Just a 12 pack?

2.) 25 May 2018 20:38:06
i had 8 Heinekens all ready and beautifully chilled but I've ended up watching a load of vids covering the last 2 years and i'm already down 5 beers.

The fact that's its Friday makes me sound less like an alcoholic.

3.) 25 May 2018 20:38:24
Never mind a 12 pack of miller check the 6 pack on Milner.

4.) 25 May 2018 20:50:02
Off with my bro-in-law and his boy to the local pub tomorrow in downtown Brussels, owned by a Liverpool fan from Kossovo. It's going to be LIT. Decorations, full projector screen TV, Reds fans on one side and RM/ CR7 fans on the other. Let's Ride!

5.) 25 May 2018 21:33:36
I reckon it will be Status Quo in the pubs filled with reds tomorrow tomorrow, they will be 'Rocking All Over The World'

6.) 25 May 2018 23:16:07
I've a bottle of cristal chilling for when we win been keeping it for a big occasion .

7.) 25 May 2018 23:22:22
One advantage of living in the Netherlands is that I have one hour less than most of you holding my nerve!

8.) 26 May 2018 00:37:22
Ah, I'm glad you brought that up BRover. I have just passed the cusp of popular culture and have heard the word 'lit', but have no knowledge of its etymology, in a nuanced sense. Can you elaborate on its meaning, old chap, please?

10 Apr 2018 21:37:30
So happy come on redmen get in think i need to take a calming pill.

welshman1971

1.) 10 Apr 2018 21:48:49
I was on the edge around the 50'but Salah goal did it for me.

2.) 10 Apr 2018 22:16:26
The guy had one chance and buried it. He knew his chance would come and he took it. Brilliant!

3.) 10 Apr 2018 22:26:12
Wijnaldum was instrumental for that goal and Mane was so quick and direct to create the chance. Salah's finish though was world class. The confidence to do that.

4.) 10 Apr 2018 22:27:07
So glad that we have him. Bring on the next round!

5.) 10 Apr 2018 22:34:27
Ox pass off the outside of his boot was top class too.

6.) 10 Apr 2018 22:39:56
Firmino took his goal really well too. Phenomenal composure from both of them considering they hardly had got a kick the Man City penalty area otherwise.

7.) 10 Apr 2018 23:00:43
I love this team, i just don't get the feeling they realise how special they actually are. Have to say it was a good decision selling coutinho, it seems to have brought the players closer together.

Not getting carried away but we are still in it so we can definately win it. Shout out to wijnaldum, came into an unfamiliar role and did a good job. Love it and this so makes up the the five nil at the beginning of the season.

{Ed0333's Note - Gini stunk the place out. The Ox was the midfielder you should be praising.

8.) 10 Apr 2018 23:31:52
I disagree, Ed. Gini to me, played his best game for us away from home and by a mile. Ox in contrast, had a poor first half (well, like most of our players really) BUT he woke up in the second half. That pass to Salah that started the move for the first goal, was sublime, IMO.

{Ed0333's Note - I saw it the other way round. Gini awful and Ox very good. A game of opinions though mate.

9.) 10 Apr 2018 23:35:12
Obviously praising some of the players is having an effect on the thumbs down brigade. Clearly upsets them to see their side doing well.

10.) 10 Apr 2018 23:43:42
Wijnaldum was magnificent second half.

{Ed0333's Note - By magnificent do you mean rubbish?

11.) 10 Apr 2018 23:50:03
Gini was excellent, for about 30 minutes in the second half. Kind of invisible for the rest of the game. A microcosm of his season, if you will. Showed he has the ability to play really well but for some reason doesn't deliver it consistently.

333 is right, Ox was a trojan today. And so was Mane. Even in the first half when we weren't getting a kick, the work the two of them put in made sure City's attempts to get two (or even three) agaisnt one on Alexander-Arnold didn't pay off.

{Ed0333's Note - I have a lot of respect for Mane. Iโ€™ve been his harshest critic this season but heโ€™s modified his game. His searing pace has gone and he no longer glides past players but heโ€™s added strength and more defensive duties. Heโ€™s more of a team player now and it seems to be working.

12.) 10 Apr 2018 23:59:11
I also though Wijnaldum was good 2nd half. I thought him, Lovren, VVD, Ox and Firmino were our stand out players.

13.) 11 Apr 2018 15:31:27
Wijnaldum is awful at keeping hold of the ball, a big factor of why we struggled first half, he grew second half because city were deflated and didn't harry us as much, Wijnaldum needs moving on this summer imo.

14.) 11 Apr 2018 08:47:10
Tbf i did have a few last night so i defer to your superior sobriety ed. ๐Ÿ˜‚.

{Ed0333's Note - I knew there was a reason for you thinking Gini was a genius mate lol. To be fair I became an alcoholic when Roy Hodgson was Liverpool manager.

10 Apr 2018 21:36:36
Love it Barcelona out shove it where the sun don't shine coutinho.

welshman1971

1.) 10 Apr 2018 22:01:29
Oh fie, I wanted us to knock them out.

2.) 10 Apr 2018 21:37:46
He could still collect a champions league medal if we were to win it ๐Ÿ˜‚.

3.) 10 Apr 2018 22:22:33
Welshman1971 if Liverpool win the champions league Coutinho will get a winners medal.

4.) 10 Apr 2018 22:33:00
As I know only if we decide to give him one, Im not sure tho. Anyway if we do win it probably we will give one to Coutinho too.

{Ed0333's Note - he deserves a champions league medal if we win it in my opinion as it will serve as a perennial reminder of the biggest mistake of his life leaving LFC

5.) 10 Apr 2018 22:42:11
Hahaha love it Ed. Comment of the decade.

6.) 10 Apr 2018 22:53:08
Brilliant ed.

{Ed0333's Note - I aim to champion the cause for truth and justice mate

7.) 10 Apr 2018 22:56:21
Not happy with that Hoody.

8.) 10 Apr 2018 22:59:18
Brilliant Ed.

{Ed0333's Note - why thankyou Barry

9.) 10 Apr 2018 23:03:08
Hahaha brilliant eds33.

{Ed0333's Note - thankyou fella

10.) 10 Apr 2018 23:06:50
Exactly ed, he has left a team on the up with real potential to dominate in the future and where he was the star draw to a team with ageing super stars on the decline.

I don't think im over egging this either, with keita coming in and an other decent playmaking midfielder and wide forward we can really challenge next season. (Disclaimer. provided we keep salah)

{Ed0333's Note - absolutely wholeheartedly agree with everything you say

11.) 10 Apr 2018 23:34:41
Spot on, Ed. Cou has realized his dream and will have to leave with that. He will get a CL medal should we win it BUT that would be a bitter pill to swallow cos he jumped ship and that will be his cross to bear. Let this be a deterrent to other players: If you do a Cou, we WILL not just survive your departure, we will be better than when you were here.

{Ed0333's Note - Tru dat bruv.

12.) 11 Apr 2018 07:38:42
Maybe Coutinho could do a John terry.

{Ed001's Note - that would be hilarious, but whose kit would he go FKW in?}

16 Jan 2018 22:16:37
Hi Eds. Do you see Liverpool trying to buy anyone in this window or do you think its going to be a quiet one.

welshman1971

{Ed002's Note - I visualise a CB with nice hands who wears mascara.}

1.) 16 Jan 2018 22:28:37
Wonder dog sparky has abducted Ed002! Quick someone call his rodeo clown friends and Iโ€™ll check with thinkerbell if he knows his (or hers Ed002 may be a her) whereabouts.

2.) 16 Jan 2018 22:31:12
dosnt he play for Everton ed ๐Ÿ˜….

3.) 16 Jan 2018 22:43:24
He asked for a football opinion, Ed, not your next tinder search profile.

4.) 16 Jan 2018 23:38:07
Who the hell searches for a centre back on a dating site? The only reason they're there is to stop you from scoring!

As a guy who likes going from box to box, getting up and down for 90 minutes, i try not to limit my criteria. I'm open minded and won't stick to one position.

{Ed033's Note - You're not one of those Gender Fluid 'Theys' are you?

5.) 16 Jan 2018 23:49:05
Totally fluid. Today i identified as a Kettle.

{Ed033's Note - Apparently there are going to be 1 or more questions about what people identify as in the next Census. They want to know just how many people don't identify as male or female.

6.) 17 Jan 2018 00:19:13
Altogether too much mention of unidentified fluids in this context thank you very much indeed.

{Ed033's Note - I suppose people could identify as an unidentified fluid object.

7.) 17 Jan 2018 00:30:10
Well that'd certainly have the statisticians stumped!

8.) 17 Jan 2018 07:19:59
I identify as a Hedgehog, as such my boss has to let me have 4 months off during winter on full pay as I hibernate.

{Ed025's Note - i indentify an an evertonian so should be treated with sympathy and understanding..

9.) 17 Jan 2018 08:28:29
Doesn't Bartra wear mascara aha!

10.) 17 Jan 2018 09:38:21
Does your wife get carer's allowance ed025? Sorry mate lol.

{Ed025's Note - she should do lord.. :)
