Hi Eds. Do you think we need cover for Robertson? Or will we keep Moreno and one of the kids step up. If so who do you see taking Moreno place. Thanks very much.

warren1968

{Ed001's Note - of course we need cover, though it is likely it is Moreno for next season.}

1.) 08 Jun 2018 07:13:55
Thank you Ed001 for tour quick reply. Have a great day.

{Ed001's Note - welcome mate take care.}

Hi eds. Iv'e seen a few posts about us looking at Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham and our problem with dealing with them. Can you tell me what's the problem is with them. As i can't remember doing much business with them.

warren1968

{Ed001's Note - it is a hangover from when we tapped up Clint Dempsey.}

1.) 04 Mar 2018 07:16:50
Thanks for your quick reply Ed001. Have a great day.

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate, you too.}

2.) 04 Mar 2018 08:26:49
Hilarious the Brendan Rodgers thought Dempsey was worth tapping up! Not only that but also offering them Henderson in exchange.

3.) 04 Mar 2018 09:43:25
Dempsey was a good player and showed so at a weaker Fulham team. Compared to what we had at the time I believe he certainly would’ve helped us. Not set the world alight but helped.

4.) 04 Mar 2018 10:10:28
That's your opinion, i judge players differently and in my opinion Dempsey was never anything special. Just shows how far we have actually come, if someone of dempsey's caliber is mentioned now people would just laugh!

5.) 04 Mar 2018 11:14:01
If I were FSG, I would personally go and apologize over my past actions and sign the lad for any sum they demand. He is going to be a super star in the making. One of the best English player out there. Without any overhype! Pure quality.

6.) 04 Mar 2018 11:35:45
Not really seen much of the lad but until he does it on a weekly basis in the premier league then he is still a risk especially at the reported price tag.

With spurs comming up later today. How many of you would like Son in our side and where would he fit in?

warren1968

1.) 04 Feb 2018 07:58:33
He wouldn’t fit in at all unless it was on the bench.

2.) 04 Feb 2018 08:31:49
He plays in Salah's position. Enough said.

{Ed001's Note - he usually plays on the left or central. Not really Salah's position. He is at his best playing off a forward or in a false 9 role like Firmino.}

3.) 04 Feb 2018 08:43:55
Son is a quality player but who would we rather have starting matches for us, Mane or Son?

4.) 04 Feb 2018 08:56:05
I don't watch spurs loads but I've only ever seen him on the right side, with Eriksen on the left, and Alli playing just off of Kane.

I don't think Son takes the place of any of our front 3, regardless!

5.) 04 Feb 2018 09:24:25
Good player but doesn’t get in ahead of any of our first choice front 3.

6.) 04 Feb 2018 09:25:40
Son is a good player and gets in our team. We could still play a front 3 and play Mane as attacking midfield, where Coutinho Played. If that didn't work Son could play a free role behind Firmino. He would improve our first 11 so for me you have to find a way to get him in the team.

Same with Ali
Eriksen
Kane.

7.) 04 Feb 2018 09:46:08
classic liverpool fans -
Son - where would he play?
don't sign any one - what if firmino, mane or salah get injured!?

anywho, I'd love Son in our team. he can play anywhere in the front 3 for me but seems his best bet would be where bobby plays.

8.) 04 Feb 2018 09:54:50
Son could play in the midfiled just like KDB and Silva plays for City.

9.) 04 Feb 2018 10:47:08
Yeah agree with Baby Driver (disturbing name) .
Midfield, not in the front 3.

10.) 04 Feb 2018 10:55:21
I'm surprised we didn't push for him to be honest.

He would allow us to continue with out free roaming front four as he can play anywhere up top similar to all our players.

Spurs have signed Lucas. Ali starts and so does eriksen, Kane aswel. So he might struggle. Id of gone with a 60/ 70 mil bid.

11.) 04 Feb 2018 11:13:51
He plays in Firminos position. Enough said.

12.) 04 Feb 2018 11:15:20
People just assume that our front 3 will remain injury free and on form throughout a season. A player like Son would give our squad a massive boost, allowing for more rotation and options up front.
No disrespect to Ings or Solanke but would you rather those two backing up our front 3 or Son?

13.) 04 Feb 2018 11:29:55
I’d rather have Eriksen than Son. That boy has magic in his feet.

14.) 04 Feb 2018 11:46:37
I’d play a 4-2-3-1 to get him into the side. Firmino upfront with Mane, Son, Salah in behind.

15.) 04 Feb 2018 12:17:12
This thread is a classic example of people reading what they want to see to push their own agenda.

The question was who would have Son in our team. T o which I replied that he wouldn’t get into our team unless it was on the bench and I 100% stick to that. I would not trade any of our front 3 for him. If the question was who be up for signing him to our squad I would definitely be up for that. I don’t think anyone is saying he wouldn’t be a good signing just that he doesn’t make our starting 11.

In response to Harry saying he could be KDB in CM, why take that experiment and not just buy a quality CM instead?

16.) 04 Feb 2018 12:59:26
Agree with Mr D, Eriksen is a class act.

17.) 04 Feb 2018 23:31:00
Son is a brilliant player and is the only attacking player I would take from Spurs cos I don't think Kane would do all the things Bobbie can do apart from scoring goals. Where would he play? I would play him off Bobbie cos Son can play anywhere in the attack cos yeah, he's that good. Just my opinion.

I was just talking to Colin Pascoe and I just want to say what a down to earth man he is.

2.) 14 Jan 2018 15:41:24

3.) 14 Jan 2018 15:49:00
