Just read in the Liverpool echo that we have reportedly come to an agreement with fc basle for mohamed salah just passing what I have seen hope it's true then we can move on to someone else

Hi eds hope you had a good new years eve feeling a bit rough this morning lol I'm jw if you no if Liverpool are prepared to pay the reported 10 million pounds fc basle want for salah or are we going to spend the entire windows haggling over a few million. And I'm also wondering how do you no so much about lfc transfers where do you get your info from. Happy new year

Hi eds hope you have a good new year jw I've been looking around and there seems to be another of mixed reports about salah and tello like a deal has been agreed for salah and will sign on Thursday and that tello is coming on loan but I have seen that no deal for either is even close I hope you can shed some light on this as you eds only no what's really going for on but can't help looking all over the net for lfc related stories I just love the transfer windows jus hope we get who we are linked with as we can really push on for top 4 and maybe more well here's hoping would love your insight. Have a happy new year eds and all you lfc fans YNWA

Eds sorry if I'm interrupting your lunch but in regards to kono being on 100k you said he is willing to take a pay cut for a move to us but what sort of cut are we talking bout surely anything below 80k would be to much of a cut what are your thoughts on the situation also seeing a lot of reports of him boarding a planet to the UK probably not true any thoughts thanks

So here is what has happened so far this window starting with you no who yes salah been going on since before the window apparently he was on the verge of a move which wasn't true we haven't agreed a fee for him yet don't think we will get him this window tbh (tello wanted him on loan not going to happen (m'vila again that was a loan offer which got rejected why not just make an offer but hey this is what we do (yarmolenko apparently we are again interested in him but let's be honest if we are we will only offer to take him on loan (wijnaldum he's a new 1dont no how serious our interest is but nothing will probably come of it anyway (montoya dunno what's happening there is he signing a new contract is what it comes down to (rakitic again doesn't look like it's going to happen as he wants to stay in spain. So in summary it doesn't look like we are going to sign anybody oh well here's hoping to still being in the 4 top come the end of the season

Apart from salah bid have we actually made a bid for any other targets. Cause am just wondering if brendan knew what players he wanted in this window why isit taking it us so long to move move on other players. Presumably Liverpool have had the players brendan wants scouted and no what they will be bringing to the club. Also this question isn't just related to salah but surely when Liverpool enquire about a player I'm presuming they are told what the player would cost so why are we forever chasing a lost cause if we never intend on pay what the player is worth just doesn't make sense to me. Another thing how does it all work in the case of transfers say we are interested in a player what happens do we ring or fax or something saying we are interested in your player we wouldnlike to buy him for 10 million it gets accepted and that's that or is there more to it. Please explain
