I am a Chelsea supporter. I was not too concerned about Liverpool, even after last weeks result. Sure you can play brilliantly one minute, then poorly in the next match. But something was different today, you looked like a top team even in defeat, something has changed. Although he was good, you don't look like a Suarez only team. Stevie g in his deep lying position was outstanding, and if Sturridge didn't have one of his " I thought I was still at Chelsea days" then you would have won, especially with such a clear cut penalty which mr Webb missed. Must admit I think you could quite easily win the league this year. Man city if they play to their potential will probably win, but if not my money wpuld be on Liverpool. Good luck .à

1.) Cheers sid

2.) Long way off sid, thanks for the visit.although.

Aaarrreeee you mouriniho in disguise ;-)

As a Chelsea supporter I feel that all these favours are completely one sided. Come on lads We gave you £50m for practically nothing in return, we let you have Sturridge for practically nothing, we are lending you a future star for practically nothing, we trained your manager, and now you are top of the league. It about time you gave us something in return, how about letting us up Suarez. Seriously well done for being top of the league. Having supported Chelsea for 50 years and watching the great Liverpool teams under shanks and bob paisley, and always losing to you, it's good to think that you might be on the verge of something big again. Because of my age Liverpool will always be the biggest team in English history and not Man U. Well done

1.) Cheers mate!

2.) Sid

you are a gentleman. we all hate Man Utd

3.) How gracious, and thoroughly appreciated. It is nice to have the boundaries dropped and us unite over our hatred for our Manchester rivels. Good day sir.

4.) Are you mad. He lost alto of balls in dangerous areas

5.) What a very kind post I for one thankyou sid.

6.) Fair play Sid

7.) Thanks for a positive post sid! Really hope you're right about moses, only the future will tell! Here's hoping Liverpool and chelsea can do the 1-2 this year! ( I knw i'm getting carried away but enjoying it while it lasts! )

8.) Your post made me happiest of all, thanks sid

9.) Cheers Sid.

10.) Very genuine post Sid, much appreciated.

Personally Chelsea are my favourites for the title, here's to a great season.

11.) A tip of the hat Sid and a nice gesture to post!

12.) Good man Sid, I reckon that we are progressing and with Suarez returning soon, and BR learning fast, the new signings, maybe 3/4, we are def on the up and up,

13.) Don't forget one of your supporters helped us in 'the epic swindle'.
You guys are great.
Be happy to give you Suarez for £60 to 70m next summer.
Always a pleasure doing business with you :)

14.) Jesus sid,
Class, class class act!
We're on top of the world, never mind the league! It's a long season though so if we can sneak 4 th I'd be very very happy,
As for chelsea, with Jose back, anythings possible! If he plays mata you have a real chance of the League.
Thanks again.

Has Ed02 not said on a previous occasion that Chelsea are part owners of markovic. I maybe wrong.

{Ed002's Note - You are correct.}

Good post. You have to appreciate that it takes time to build a title winning team. Brenden Rogers has done a brilliant job, and probably is, in his own eyes, ahead of schedule. I am sure his intention is to add two or three players each year, see how it goes with the intention of improving each year. He himself is still learning as he goes, and will make mistakes on the way, and come up against more experienced managers. However, be patient he will succeed. Liverpool will soon be back where they belong and challenging for all the main prizes, including the champions league. We all blame the refs and the opposing players for cheating or bad decisions when we lose, but sometimes have to accept that maybe our team is not quite the "best" team in the country yet. I am a Chelsea supporter, having had to suffer years of losing to Liverpool in the shankly/paisley era ( having posted before about my suffering), but Liverpool will always be the " big" team in England. It will take a decade or a generation of youngsters growing up to chelsea success before we can be compared to team like Liverpool. Just remember be patient, accept defeats on the long road to the summit, you will soon be back to the top where your club and wonderful supporters belong.

I love the banter sites, week in, week out one team plays brilliantly, the future looks fantastic for that team. Next week it's another team. The premiership is won over a season, when the most consistent team, or the team that hits a good run at the end of the season wins the prize. Liverpool were outstandiing today, so have the other top teams in some matches this year. Can they consistently repeat the performance, it will be interesting to see.
