Just a thought on last night's game, and this is not knee jerk post. I just think that maybe we have been found out a little with our style of play. There is no getting away with it that Mo has been fantastic for us this season and his goals have been vital again but I do feel that Mo as well as a few others have a tendency to run with the ball but usually run into crowded areas resulting in losing the ball. We did it countless times last night and feel Klopp should maybe have changed tactics a bit to stop this. I don't understand why after watching us do this first half he didn't revert back to last season's formation with Mo out on the right giving us a bit of width and allowing Bobby more space to run into. We were crying out for width last night to stretch Leicestershire defence/ midfield. I also think that by moving Bobby back to his normal position he would have given Maguire nightmares chasing him down and given that Maguire is an error waiting happen and he was on a booking I think we missed a trick there. Chilwell did have a good game but think it would have been a different story If he had Mo to worry about running in behind him.

They were playing on an ice rink. I'm amazed it wasn't called off.

Do agree with Klopp revising his tactics following the Leicester scenario but it was clear that we wanted to play around Mane yesterday which could be why Mo got less of the ball than usual. I don’t think it’s right however to generalise Mo running into crowded areas, because we could argue that’s how Mo manages to squeeze goals in when other forwards would normally fail to make an impact. It is correct to say Mo gave the ball away on a couple of occasions yesterday for that reason but it was a more noticeable issue against Leicester because he only had a few chances. My observations would focus more on our lack of attacking football and that’s down to several reasons in my opinion. Keita made no impact going forward, perhaps due to giant starting position which appeared on occasion to be quite deep. The introduction of Fab showed a change in the dynamic and he pressed forwards to open up play. Maybe the game was more open by this point however. IMO Fab should’ve been introduced in place of Keita for the reasons described, but at half time.
Either or, 1pt is better than 0 points and it shows we are not losin games when we play poorly which is normally a good sign. Shame we didn’t win but onwards and upwards lads and ladies.

OP, I have never believed in the "we have gotten found out" rhetoric that people keep talking about each time we don't win a game people think we should. It's too easy a conclusion to draw, I'm sorry. LC came with the same game plan they always come with whenever they play us cos the way they play, matches up well with teams in the top 6 that play open football. Same with Palace who beat City and almost got a point against us playing the exact same way. There is a reason why both these teams are dreadful when they play teams around or below them cos that counter attacking scheme won't work as we saw when Leicester played and lost to Saints at home.

Now, we did not play anywhere near our best and there are factors that contributed to this including Leicester's game plan and us fielding a makeshift defence with Hendo at RB. It is not surprising that majority of their attacks came from his side which is expected. Could Klopp had done better? Of course BUT in real time, that game could easily have gotten away from us cos LC had enough chances to score at least two goals and trust me, we are not singing the same tune now so let's just calm down and accept the point and on to the next game.

Sometimes ya turn up and don't execute your game plan as well, some times it's the wrong game plan, sometimes the opposition execute better, most times some luck is involved. but being "found out"? I dunno about that.
