alright eds I noticed last week former Liverpool GK Peter Gulacsi is starting every week and helped RB Leipzig to the top of the Bundesliga. just wondering whether yous know has he developed into one of the top keepers over in Germany and more generally do you think Leipzig can maintain this form over the whole season
I'm sure I read somewhere too (probably on here) that they are hated over in Germany and seen as equivalent of Chelski

I really do not like the side, they are the equivalent of Franchise FC (MK Dons) not Chelsea. They are a vile blot on the landscape of football and all that is wrong with the game. I hope they die a slow painful death and the gut rot the club is named after vanishes along with them.}

Yeah, Burke was the young Scottish lads name. How is he getting on over there? There were a few rumours around in the summer that we were looking at him.
{Ed001's Note - he is doing ok, but he is only a kid and he was bought for the long term by them. He mostly comes off the bench for them to change the game. Got a goal and a couple of assists, if the stats are correct, in 10 games, so have to say ok is an understatement for a 19 year old.}

how come overpaying makes a difference to work permits ed?
{Ed002's Note - Because it is a points based system now. The player needs a minimum of four points and summary goes something like this:
- The value of the transfer fee (alone) that is to be paid is between the top 75% and 100% of all transfers to Premier League clubs in the previous 2 windows - 3 points
- The value of the transfer fee being paid for the player is between 50% and 75% of all transfers to Premier League clubs in the previous 2 windows - 2 points
- The basic wage (excluding bonuses) being paid to the player by the new club is in the top 25% of the top 30 earners at the club - 3 points
- The basic wage (excluding bonuses) being paid to the player by the new club is between 50% and 75% of all the top 30 earners at the club - 2 points
- Subjectively, the player’s current club is in a recognised "top" league and the player has played in 30% or more of the available domestic league minutes - 1 point
- The player’s existing club has played in the group stages or onwards of the Champions League, Europa League or the Copa Libertadores within the last 12 months and the player has played in 30% or more of the available domestic league minutes - 1 point

i remember when koeman was manager of benfica and flopped so I thought he was a rubbish coach even though he was a world class player. but shows that even if gerrard isn't a great coach at first if he is given time and works hard that he could improve a lot. just don't get why everyone is getting on his back before he's even started.
