ED001. I was wondering if you would be willing to write up you opinion of Klopp, out progress, our structure as a club and what you would like to see us do going forward. I haven't seen much from you recently and I am tired of reading the same transfer crap over and over.

{Ed001's Note - I have added it to my to do list mate, but it will be a while before I get the time to do anything about it sorry.}

Truly great job this window. The clowns were put in full force and you you still managed to provide great information. While some of the fans on here struggle to hear the truth, there are a number of us who appreciate everything you guys do and the hard work you put in.

My only hope is that the club can turn things around so the trolls can stay hiding under the bridge.

{Ed001's Note - I have faith in Klopp personally. While it was not a perfect window, it was a big step forward and that is what matters. We just need to keep moving forward as a club. Thank you for the kind words, though really it is mostly Ed002 who suffers the abuse, some people just can't handle that he is not a Liverpool fan and think that gives them the right to send in foul and nasty abuse. It is embarrassing some of the stuff we have to delete from the morons who bring shame on our club.}

Excellent post - i'd like to reiterate thanks for the ed's for their hard work and seemingly infinite patience: if any ed's find themselves in Taiwan i'll happily buy them a beer or 2 (or 8).

{Ed001's Note - if I ever find myself in Taiwan, it would mean I was very lost....}

2.) 01 Sep 2016 06:40:00
Love how people on this site are from all over the world. Great to see.

3.) 01 Sep 2016 07:39:32
That's pretty much how I ended up in Taiwan - got lost, married a girl and haven't left since. Interesting times though.

{Ed001's Note - I get lost a lot, but it usually only leaves me ending up in a part of town I haven't seen before. My sense of direction is terrible, when I lived in a tower that had the lifts in the centre of the building I could never figure out which way to turn to get to my apartment. It is so much easier now with just one way to go, so I don't always turn the wrong way immediately on stepping out of the lift. I dread to think where I would end up without GPS and maps on my phone when I go outside....}

4.) 01 Sep 2016 10:02:47
I'm from Dublin but living in Athens 3 years now. Atehns is a complicated mess so GPS and maps on my phone is an essential daily tool. No idea how much time I wasted in the past with the trial and error method of finding your way around. Although, the GPS lady does regularly try to drive me off cliffs or into walls. I think she just likes to check I'm paying attention from time to time. :)

{Ed001's Note - women can never be trusted mate, I bet even the GPS lady spends her life watching CSI etc to learn how to get away with bumping off men who annoy her....}

I was reading down the page how you said the club is a bit of a joke in terms of conduct. Transfer wise we seem unprofessional and ignorant. The problems with the decision making and running of our club seem so obvious and there are surely a number of people at fault.

My question is do Liverpool know that they are seen as a joke by other clubs and are they continuing to try and fix their problems? I know there were some changes recently but we seem to have the same issues.

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool are well aware that they have lost the respect of the "elite" sides, that they have upset a number of sides due to their tapping up of players and they know that clubs are generally not interested in their players at the prices being asked - hence many of the transfers as the chaos continues.}

1.) 31 Aug 2016 13:16:32
Instead of constantly finding excuses for our failings as well as blaming others for them, maybe the club and us fans start conducting ourselves in a better manner, hopefully then we will be able to move forward.

2.) 31 Aug 2016 13:19:40
If we've sunk that low the only way is up.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 14:09:12
Gutted we seemingly didn't show any interest in Steve Walsh. seems bizarre when Ian Ayre is off.

{Ed002's Note - Ridiculous - IA is the CEO; SW has zero experience of suc h a position.}

4.) 31 Aug 2016 15:08:10
😂😂 I sympathise with Ed002.

5.) 31 Aug 2016 16:18:27
ahha. fair play, ed, I've got that dead wrong.
still think we need a proper (quality) DOF to guide recruitment, though.

6.) 31 Aug 2016 16:20:34
Does a DOF have nothing to do with completing transfers, Ed?

{Ed002's Note - It depends what he or she is tasked with doing. In many cases they are part of the process of considering players but tend not to be involved in negotiations.}

Ed, I have been reading this site for at least ten years. I have jumped on at least once a day to see what was happening with the club I love and talk with people who shared my passion. I have got to say that I will not be reading any posts other than the ones you post because it is embarrassing the things being said the past few years.

Every signing is bashed, we call for the head of our captain, we insult our manager into the ground, we scrutinize every dollar spent by our owners. We lost one game and everyone acts like it is the end of the season. We have a lot of work to do but constant negativity, bashing, and downright disrespecting everything about the club goes against everything it used to stand for. I became a Liverpool supporter because their motto ynwa. Lately it seems like that only applies when we win and it is convenient. I am sorry you have to read all this trash every day and many of the "fans" on this sight should be ashamed.

{Ed001's Note - people just no longer take a deep breath and think about things. It is all knee jerk reactions. If only people took the time to look back at the history of the club, they might be a bit calmer and give it a bit more time before making decisions. The start of the season is always the time for odd results, such as Hull getting two wins in a row. It means nothing. The season is 38 games, not two.}

1.) 21 Aug 2016 08:15:09
With all due respect, I think our performances in the last few years, gives fans a right to critisize. I do agree that some seem to over do it.
But yesterdays loss was a kick in the face. Let's take away the 2 goals they scored (it happened against the run of play, we dominated and had most of the posesion, and we all know we have a problem in defense), but we could not score against them!
That to me, was the biggest issue. If they hadn't scored, we would have still had a 0-0 draw! With our so called quality attack.
We will concede goals, yes. It is early in the season, so our fitness isn't up yet, our defense can still be shaky. But we should be able to score at least 1 goal against a newly promoted side.

Eds I have heard that Chelsea is looking to send Pato back to Brazil early and that it was a mistake to sign him. It's funny because I remember a number of people on here upset that we did not go for him.

{Ed002's Note - Pato is not match fit. The Liverpool fans are obsessed with change - they don't care too much about such matters.}

1.) 16 Mar 2016 22:33:44
Haha brilliant another flop for chelsea it makes my day.

2.) 16 Mar 2016 23:01:44
Has he even played? Still seems strange when they have Costa remy falcao and that young lad Traore who looks a right player!

3.) 16 Mar 2016 23:37:55
You are wrong on this one mate, the vast majority certainly did not want hum.

4.) 16 Mar 2016 23:01:14
May seem an odd question but is there anything Chelsea could do to mitigate their loses?

Even if they can cancel his contract imagine they still would stand to take a fair hit financially?

Imagine being able to prove a player is unfit isn't as easy at it seems as is a bit subjective. Not like when mutu failed a drug test as is fairly definitive.

{Ed002's Note - I am not entirely sure what you mean. In simple terms thaey have taken a player on loan who is not yet 100% ready to use. It is far from ideal for the club.}

5.) 17 Mar 2016 00:23:53
A lot of us didn't want him here.

6.) 17 Mar 2016 09:17:02
Sorry worded that terribly. Basically believe it was Mutu who failed a drug test, had his contract cancelled and had to pay compensation to Chelsea.

Is there anything in contracts that would be similar if a player fails to maintain fitness?

Side note is his lack of fitness due to injury or laziness?

{Ed002's Note - I have no idea why you have raised Mutu or what your point is, nor why you are talking about a Chelsea player on this page.}

The frustration is a result of constant errors. He has not improved since we purchased him and he offers little in goal. I would prefer to give one of our two young keepers a chance to make those same errors in the hopes that st least they can get better.

He Ed, do you know Klopp's justification for AOC? I think he has potential I am just curious as to how Klopp become interested.

{Ed002's Note - Nope.}

Ed what do you think of a Can, Hendo, grujic midfield three? I think that would be a major improvement.

{Ed001's Note - it could hardly be worse than having Lallana and Wijnaldum in there! Neither of those two are any good in the role they are being asked to play.}

{Ed001's Note - has been in a constant state of overhaul for a while now.}
