Amazing the change in tone in a few days.

I have thought since day one that we have a manager of huge potential.

I admire his ability to impose his style of management upon this great club and change personnel within financial discipline so effectively.

Time will tell but my feeling is that we have perhaps the best young manager out there in EPL for sure.

At least he has bought players to suit his imposed system. AVB has had good players bought at inflated cost and they will have to adapt to what he wants of them.

Worth a few points for sure as is MCFC's radical change and Moyes's uncertain start.

A few big surprises could be on the cards this season!

It seems to me that transfers are now heavily influenced by the players agents and perhaps those agents preferences and the benefits they gain through transfer activity of their clients (players). They must get greater income every time a transfer goes through!

We only have to look at 3 possible transfers LFC were involved with: Suarez, Miki., and now Willian. In each case it seems as though the agent has strongly influenced the process and in the latter cases the decision made by their client. I am sure the agents potential benefits played a part.

Surely there must be calls for better regulation of such dealings and indeed the whole financial management of football to save the game for supporters of the numerous clubs worldwide from the greedy ambitious and unscrupulous efforts of wealthy owners.

Seems long gone are the days when supporters of Blackburn, Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Everton, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Derby County can hope to win honours. football is a sadder place now with only a handful of clubs competing for the top honours and with pocketfuls of cash to back them up. FSG seems to want to establish a sustainable business with the aim of longer term success but can't match the sustainable spending power of others right now with honest aims at meeting the FFP rules.

It's sad and is tilted and tainted and the top competition - the champions league - is tilted against upsets and allows non champions to participate.

It's nice to hear FSG question the system but I doubt if they could change it with others to something more balanced because questionable Russian money and oil money is in play.

It's time for the supporters clubs throughout the UK and indeed Europe (probably the majority only. those supporters clubs with super rich owners won't want to change anything) to get together and lobby for wholesale change.

Good to read in the Telegraph that Brendan is to make Suarez rain alone . and until he gets an apology to club and fans for his behavior. added to this seems Suarez is a messy situation with LFC's view of his contract being considered the correct interpretation and that they have the right to seek market value based on current transfers.
Added to that apparently Henry will not sell to Arsenal.
Advice for Suarez. sue and sack your agent. make up with LFC quickly and try and renegotiate your release clause value for the future.
