any truth surrounding Javi martinez and shaquri to Liverpool plus 60 million for Suarez. Some reports r suggesting this is being talked about.

FSG have a lot to answer for as he BR should have been let go at end of last season as he looked to have lost the team with his tactics etc.
Sorry it has not worked out for him but results this season were also poor against teams we should have been beating.
Need a manager who can sort out defence n midfield as they again looked poor today.
Its just not good enough for liverpool fc and owners, manager, staff and players have put OUR great club in this position.
FSG need to get it right NOW to move us in the right direction ie, Champions league and challenging for title in next few seasons.
Is it Klopp or Ancelotti, personally i think we need a manager who comes in for next five to ten years. Perhaps Klopp.
But whoever it is needs to do some serious work with team playing a system that works and get results consistently.

just some questions on something i read today about Liverpools pre-season and lack of quality opposition.
Do you believe we should have been on the tour of Oz , malaysia etc ?
Was it just money orientated ?

Seemed like a monumental waste of time Ed, when you've got your rivals playing quality opposition and then you've got us pissing about with the Malaysian XI.
{Ed002's Note - Well no one got injured and Liverpool got a little money out of it - just about covers the hotels, meals and buying Brad Jones out of his contract. Flights were freebies with the "partner" airline.}

To put this into some context,
We got slaughtered last season after starting our pre season again city, AC. etc and played crap teams the year we finished second.
Really don't think it's anything to look into, I don't care if we play 10 friendlies against Grimsby tbh,as long as we get 3 points against Stoke.

Hi eds, on the subject of players wanting guaranteed playing time was this not the issue with Glen Johnson and his contract?
If he was fit he played was supposedly in his contract.
I had heard this 2nd year into his term with the club when i had visited for a game and ground tour.

Agree completley with you ED001, go at em, a poor side they are.
a fantatic performance BUT where has this jekyll n hyde team of ours been in many games this season when even half of this performance and bit more consistency would have us in better league position.

Kenny by a country mile both as a player and manager.
Enjoyed watching him play from first minute i saw him in a red shirt and to become player manager of our great club and acheive great things like the managers he played under. A True Legend.
Kevin great player he was and a fantastic scoring relationship with Toshack. They even done a documentry type programme as to the telepathy between both of them.
Pity Benteke and sturridge could, nt have the same telepathy.
Great times though and both great players.

Clean sheet and our place guaranteed, only problem is we are not keeping clean sheets.
Migs must be overdue one though so let's hope he can.
I, ll settle for a 0-0 but an entertaining one with few nervous moments thrown in. As long as we get top final.
