Hi eds and fellow reds,
I know it early in the silly season but there two thing I don't quiet get. If the rumours are true and Rodgers is going to get the bullet as early as next week, firstly I'd like to know how true this is I've read what macca said about him and I personally think he needs to go now Kenny got the sack even with a trophy in the cabinet, also if certain mangers are available such as carlo and klopp why aren't we getting one of them lined up to replace Rodgers? Secondly if he is going why are we being linked to a number of players when if a new manager has different ideas and will attract a different type of player to Rodgers and in my opinion better players than what he can attract sorry for the long post but I'm getting very worried in the direction the club is going as of late

Kenny wasn't so much sacked as discontinued. He was always only ever in the role as a temporary manager until such time as FSG were ready to replace him.

Kenny had a two year contract if I remember correctly and I also believe he was sacked. BR is no match for KK but KK imo is also not in touch with the modern game. Either way KK should have been given more time even if it was only to stabilise things.

what is this cods wallop KK not in touch with the modern game KK has forgotten more about football than most of the managers in the premier league . I am sure given a few more seasons KK would of won us the premier league even though he was not involved with the first team at LFC for a few years he was watching the game and coaching LFC academy players so do you think LFC would let that happen if KK was out of touch with the modern game O and by the way still same amount of players same minutes same referee same aim put ball in net and win game same trophies as it was in his hey day

Sacking a manager is a political thing. If a manager resigns they are financially worse off. Sackings are sometimes for failure, but sometimes as a favour so that they get a good pay-off.

KK over BR everyday of the week. At least we got to cup finals and never lost 6-1 to anyone let alone Stoke.

Kenny was sacked due to his handling over the Suarez racism issue amongst other things, the eds have said so themselves. I know people are not condoning that, are they?

Morning eds and reds, yesterday basically topped our season of yeah there been some highs but more lows now I was a fan of Rodgers but I'm losing faith in him there something very wrong in that club to me, our bench looked pitifull yesterday we had nothing that could overturn villa he has wasted a lot of money on players who in another club would be squad players and 3 seasons without a trophy this proves how good saurez really was can you see him going at the end of the season now

What and were have all these torres rumours come from? I was a massive fan of his in the re d shirt and it gutted me that he left but why bring him back? I know we're in the crap in the striking department but is he the answer we need? Plus also read that balotelli is off to napoli in jan that wouldn't be a bad thing
