Evening Gents,
I know he hasn't had much game time, but what's your early assessment of AOC?

Wenger had a problem with him because he couldn't give him his preferred role.
Is Klopp having the same problem?

Like I said, early days, but AOC is a very experienced Prem player.

Will he get his chance?

dagenham gunner

{Ed002's Note - He would still be at Arsenal if he wasn't home grown.}

1.) 02 Oct 2017 20:34:51
What is his preferred role?
He's like Can for me, a decent player with no position.

2.) 02 Oct 2017 21:00:10
He's more Can't than Can.

3.) 02 Oct 2017 21:42:19
At Arsenal, I thought he was all style and no substance, lots of pace, strength, dribbling ability, but no end product.

As for his Liverpool career he hasn't played enough for me to make any sort of assessment.

4.) 02 Oct 2017 21:51:23
Arsenal did the right thing by offloading him now they have one less player to bother! Next up Wheelchair and Walcott! All medicore English players!
Klopp is preparing a master plan to unleash AOC! Coming soon at a stadium near you!

5.) 02 Oct 2017 22:11:57
Klopp obviously sees something in him, something I don't.

6.) 02 Oct 2017 23:19:48
I think people are been a little too harsh on the lad, give him time, he may surprise us all, we need to get behind him not slate him - he's a Liverpool player now, let's see how he gets on.

7.) 02 Oct 2017 23:46:39
Mikey, Klopp also seems something in Klavan and Lovren what no one else does. He is got it wrong about AOC as well. Waste of money and time imo. We got mugged by Arsenal.

8.) 02 Oct 2017 23:51:45
Klopp sees a lot of things others don't tbf.

9.) 03 Oct 2017 00:46:02
He needs time to adapt in our system and bad results, pressure from fans and media isn't helping either.

10.) 03 Oct 2017 08:22:03
There is nothing about him. Klopp made a panic buy for a position that hardly required any investment in. Its a panic buy and he won't feature this season as long as performances don't improve.
next two games are tough and maribor we have to win. so in coming month i don't see AOC getting any game time.
Another thing that will eventually lead to klopps sacking.

11.) 03 Oct 2017 08:23:51
I've got a mate who's a mad gunner. He's so happy he's at Liverpool and we actually paid 40 million pounds of money.

12.) 03 Oct 2017 08:36:09
He will end up at Palace / Stoke / West ham like most of our unwanted end up at! If he wanted to play regularly he should have taken couple of steps down and joined any of the club that give him guarantee! Klopp likes hard core runners hence we signed him!

13.) 03 Oct 2017 08:36:13
He seems like a long term replacement for Milner - a squad player who can do everything to a half decent standard but not really good enough to claim a starting berth anywhere. Give him time though and he may come good - many arsenal fans have said that he suffered from under coaching at Arsenal so let's see what some decent coaching can do.

14.) 03 Oct 2017 09:35:07
I did not want AOC here and that much was well documented. However, he is an LFC player now and needs my and our support. He has not played a lot and cameos are the dumbest ways to judge a player. I will not be drawn into that. I will give him time to prove his worth cos if he succeeds, that means LFC succeeds.

15.) 03 Oct 2017 10:08:04
If he had scored that header we'd be saying it was a well timed run from a midfielder,
I think he's going to be a good signing but whether we need both him and Milner is another thing.

16.) 03 Oct 2017 12:10:35
Can we show a little support to the lad and give him time to get to adapt to klopps accepted level of fitness and tactics before we turn him into the next aquilani.

17.) 03 Oct 2017 12:54:53
AOE, support for our own? Are you kidding me? Surely, you are aware of the hammering that Klopp is getting from many on here cos he lost 2 games out of 15 in all comps this season, right? Supporting our own players come hell or high water, is becoming gradually extinct. Hopefully, we can bring it back.

Afternoon boy's.

A few of you came over to Arsenal page, not too gloat, but to offer constructive observations about our current state of affairs.

Fairplay to you Gent's, and I wish you all the best for the rest of the season.

Klopp has you boys playing some terrific football.

1.) 28 Aug 2017 18:57:31
I don't think I'd worry to much I think lacazette will be an excellent signing and if you can keep hold of Sanchez you'll be around the top four come end of may.

2.) 28 Aug 2017 18:58:41
Cheers mate, sorry about the one idiot who decided to gloat, and I hope you lot sort out the Wenger situation soon. That man is actually nuts.

3.) 28 Aug 2017 18:59:09
I think you lot need a new manager.
Well, think you've needed one for a while now actually.
Wenger was completely out-thought by Klopp tactically.

4.) 28 Aug 2017 19:02:54
Arsenal will be back in the top 4 at the expense of Spurs IMO. Spurs will suffer the Wembley hoodoo.

5.) 28 Aug 2017 19:14:34
Arsenal should snap up Tuchel rapid, pat wenger on back and give him is golden watch. That's if they want any chance of top 4.

6.) 28 Aug 2017 19:17:16
Agree with all of that 😁.

7.) 28 Aug 2017 19:23:00
Ron
Who else is missing out then?
Chelsea?
City?
Us?

I said it a few weeks back- Utd will at least get top 4.

8.) 28 Aug 2017 19:45:17
I would also like to congratulate the maturity of our fans when posting constructively on the arsenal site, especially as they are going down.

9.) 28 Aug 2017 19:59:35
Always good to hear from you Dagenham, hope you're keeping yourself well. I hope things improve for the gunners. You're a decent bunch.

10.) 28 Aug 2017 20:08:28
Agger-At the start of the season the only team I would have guaranteed top 4 would have been city, Utd have looked good so far but I wouldn't get too carried away but they should make the top 4 with their depth. Chelsea I think will make the top 4 but no guarantee and the vibe around the club isn't great. Spurs have the Wembley hoodoo hanging around them, we have defensive and depth issues and Arsenal I think are in decline. I think it will be between us and Spurs for 4th.

11.) 28 Aug 2017 20:10:06
No-one else is missing out. Arsenal will replace Spurs.
Man Utd will fall apart when Matic gets injured and Jose has another meltdown 😄.

12.) 28 Aug 2017 20:30:53
Having seen your name here in a while Dagenham Red always good to hear from you.

To be honest when the teams were announced I was scratching my head as to why Wenger didn't start both Lacazette and Klosanic (sp) who have both looked like good buys. Sanchez should never have started and like us you guys are in need of a CB.

Hope it works out for yous and Wenger gets it right hopefully a signing or two and hold on to Sanchez for the season. Would hate to see it end bad for Wenger he has done a lot for English football not just Arsenal so i would liken to see him go on his own terms. The fans getting on his back this early can't help.

Best of luck for the season you are welcome here by most I'm sure anytime.

13.) 28 Aug 2017 20:45:43
I hope you're right Ron.
Personally i think they have fixed the problem of last season, in that they had no-one to stretch teams.

14.) 28 Aug 2017 20:54:10
Dag! Long time, no post, mate. 'Hope all is well with you, bro. As for Arsenal, you should have sacked this failure of a manager years ago but the board and fans were afraid of change and deluded themselves into settling for mediocrity, qualifying for CL with no prayer on earth of ever winning it. He has become way bigger than the club and that was a huge mistake. Now, not being courageous enuff to embrace change, mediocrity and embarrassment is now your lot. Your fans don't deserve this BUT many have enabled it and it's only going to get worse now for the club. Good luck, my friend cos you lot, are going to need it, big time.

28 Aug 2017 20:51:59
Hows it going dags lad haven't seen you on here in ages pal. It seems wenger is an old confused man these days nothing like the man that had the invincibles, seems he has lost his mojo anyway good luck for the season mate.

Irrespective of what happened (scoreline) after some fans walked, fair play and total respect to them.

Just thought I would throw my hat in the ring on a previous post.

Vardy even admitted "Mignolet kept coming off his line, so if I had a chance I would take it".

And boy, he did just that.
Top goal.

1.) 03 Feb 2016 14:40:25
Changes nothing really. We play a high line so it`s normal for keepers to be false sweepers. Mingo has never been beaten like that before because his back pedaling is pretty good. Vardy was smart and tokk the shot way before Mingo becan his back pedal. a second later, Mingo would have had that because he`s 6ft 4inches with long rms. Credit to Vardy, tho because that was genius.

2.) 03 Feb 2016 15:08:44
Agree,
It was just a terrific shot by Vardy.

13 Jan 2016 23:31:40
Bit disappointed, but credit to you boys tonight.

Possibly the game of the season?

dagenham gunner

1.) 14 Jan 2016 01:24:42
What's up, Dag! Really, we should have won the game had Mignolet not gifted you guys two goals. All in all, great game.

2.) 14 Jan 2016 02:53:25
It had everything. Sloppiness. Passion. Was a great game to watch. And a pretty fair result to be honest.

3.) 14 Jan 2016 04:41:13
Likewise - great match. Hope you guys win the league if we don't ;)
