Today I had to tattoo 2018 under a man City piece, hated every moment of it.

So I'm hoping it's going to balance out by having to do a extra Star under some liver birds.

Lots of who would you get to replace pipco talk. Can anyone see a good old switch to a 4-4-2 with Danny coming back into the team as a possibility. I would imagine he could replace the 13 goals scored and with the vast amount of chances created would the 7 assists be a major issue.

Obviously don't want to lose pip but just an observation.

Or a 4-2-3-1 with firmino in the no10 playing off danny with mane and salah ether side of him with Keita and hendo the deeper mids. 🔥.

2.) 28 Jul 2017 09:01:29
We've replaced the 15 goals. Salah got 19 last year.

If we then add keita it's 27 goals.

You got 15.

3.) 28 Jul 2017 10:55:29
I don't think it's just the goals. Pipco on form makes us tick. Everything goes through him. We'd have to get someone with that sort of quality.

Just a different angle to look at it. In 4 and a half hours of football this season we haven't scored against Southampton. I think they deserve some credit there

yeah!, bloody good under rated team

2.) 26 Jan 2017 12:54:16
But the pity is that most other teams score against them, so why can't we. It's just this cup that they don't seem to concede

3.) 26 Jan 2017 13:02:14
Was thinking this before mate. Credit to Southampton but also its ridiculous that we have played them 3 times this season and not managed one goal. Each game was near enough the same. Which is kind of annoying as it feels like klopp hasn't learnt a thing from these three game as we never improved. But o well let's hope things pick up and we get back on track.

4.) 26 Jan 2017 17:47:37
Doesn't anyone get th fact that the majority of our players are ex-saints?!

That's why they've got our number, lol 😂

5.) 26 Jan 2017 17:54:52
Often the case. You play your first team against your B team, and to give them a chance you put a few youngsters in to try and make it a more even contest. However, class pays and you still end up winning.
Seriously, Klipperty needs a plan B. Your players look jaded already and how many games have you played, compared to Saints, this season? We would expect that from "sick note" Lallana, but you seem to have a number of other players who have the same problem.
A glimmer of hope. Saints have only played Premiership sides during this competition, and none of them have scored against us!

I'm guessing we can all agree that the start of the season was better than expected so forgetting that what was peoples realistic expectations for this season.

Personally I was hoping to see at least 70 points. This to me is realistic due to the points we dropped at the end of last season whilst focusing on the europa and more time spent under klopp. Also a cup final and win would be fantastic.

I get people may not want to settle for anything but the winning the league but let's be sensible about what you were hoping for before a ball was kicked this season.

1.) 15 Jan 2017 10:48:44
Whilst top four and 70 points were a good target before the season expectations were changed by how great we we've played . Less than 80 points would now be a disappointment.

2.) 15 Jan 2017 10:52:41
This club has spend enough money to win the league anyways. With no midweek games to play we should be challenging for the title and not any 40 points references. Y do some of our own fans underestimate our own team? If I am right, A team that sacked the manager 6 months ago finished 8th last season are nailed on to win the league this season. If that doesn't kick your buts to chase your dreams then nothing will ever! We ll fight till the last day and our only target every year should be winning the TITLE.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think realism is one of your strong points harry, liverpool or any other club for that matter do not have a divine right to be contenders every year mate, now i know its been a long time since you were champions but if i was a red top 4 would be a great season and anything else a bonus..

3.) 15 Jan 2017 11:31:56
Cementing ourselves as one of the top 4 each year is the minimum target.

The league in the ultimate target and we haven't spent anymore than the others to win the league but more to keep up.

We spent 60 million in the summer. United 150, city 150, chelsea 110, arsenal 70, totteham 60.

So by your logic

United
City
Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
Tottenham

Ahould be the league positions.

We don't owb the league and have absolutely no right to win it.

The last rhing on spending is were dtill in the lower end. when we start getting players for 50 mil a piece then potebtially we can claim we have spent enough.

4.) 15 Jan 2017 11:49:50
There was me thinking we could have a sensible discussion. A lot of people seem to love United doing poor due to their sense of entitlement but we're no better.

Be realistic based on the last few seasons we are a top 8 club and are direct rivals are spurs arsenal and United we are not at the continued level of success as Chelsea and man city.

And before you jump down my throat and call me a ppor fan note that I want every success for this club and dream of it daily like the rest of you.

5.) 15 Jan 2017 12:27:35
Ed025, Sorry Top 4 is just another reason to pretend you are doing brilliant but the reality is you are just above the 5th and 6th and a long way of from the first and second. Arsenal have been in top 4 for nearly a decade and how many times have they actually challenged for the title?
How much money did Leicester spend last season to win the title?
A club like Liverpool is only judged based on the trophies and not how many times have they got into Top4.

6.) 15 Jan 2017 14:10:52
Sweet chin. Big bog difference to be a challenger to top 4 and being in the top 4. Not being rhought of before the season starts in the battle for 4th, already knowijg your going to be top 3 is huge. for the image. future players. discussions for a breakaway league.

Ill take 3rd.3rd.2nd.3rd. Over the next 4 season, over 2nd.7th.4th.8th etc.

Once we become one of the top 3 year aftwr year then the final push for the league will be a piece of p***

Also noone here is wanted a trophy or made up that we won the battle for fourth. Every single one of us want the league but for the future we need to become a powerhouse in the league and a constant top level player with a good few chanpions league campaigns under our belt.

Be devestated to finish top 3 this yesr and back to 8th next yesr.

7.) 15 Jan 2017 14:45:59
As Ed25 said and also for me personally I'd be very happy with top 4 but we need to maintain top 4 not drop down 5/ 6 places.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind today being the last memorial service held at anfield. . jft96.

The families don't want anymore public services. They want some kind of closure.

2.) 15 Apr 2016 17:00:17
I think it's the right decision. What with the court proceeding coming to an end, hopefully ending in justice, and not putting an end to it per say, as we will always remember them, it will just give the closure the families now deserve to grief with the facts, instead of fiction that has surrounded the tragedy for many years.

Didn't we only clear the snow in the box we were attacking earlier in the year.

The tattoo in question is healed so I'm guessing it was done just after city's last game, allowing as much healing time as possible without training.

Leg tattoos can be a issue if the skin is over worked which causes a pain simular to shin splints when you put weight on it, but this is the extreme end for large tattoos taking 6+ hours.

He wanted it, he waited till a gap in training so no problem.

Is there a difference in punishment between controlled substances and non controlled? For example cocaine and ephedrine (fat burner) . I'm not saying one is worst than the other or clutching at straws just wondering if their is a drug classification when it comes to sport as it is with the law.

classicdriller

{Ed001's Note - it really depends. The distinction is more between performance enhancing and recreational.}
