Anyone worried we may win the title at a game played behind closed doors due to Corona?

There is nothing we can do about it, I think short term will be a ban on certain age groups, then if it doesn’t improve a wider net will be cast and games will go behind closed doors. Hopefully we get it over the line, reckon city will drop points tomorrow to push us closer.

Saw some game stats that showed neither Henderson or Gini won a tackle or an aerial duel yesterday. Worse than that only gini even went for an aerial duel at all (1). Neither player attempted a tackle all game. Not good enough.

Ed001 will think i'm winding him up, but Stats are usually BS. I can count from memory 3t ackles from Henderson. One of which was about 25 yards from their goal. Although i can't remember Gini making a tackle tbf.

Issue with countinho going is surely timing as much as anything. We have no chance of getting anyone in as good in three weeks. If we were offered 100m plus I d snap Barcelona s hand off if we had more time. We don't so countinho must stay. Ps countinho clearly signed a 5 year deal with no buy out clause to get a better weekly wage . His tough luck then now he wants to go.

We obviously have no chance getting players as good no matter how much time we have. When did LFC buy someone of Coutinho caliber? Buy potential ( masch, torres, suarez) and sell when they become consistent performers. I really thought this was the year we actually bought a couple really good players to add to the squad, but loosing Cout now will send us back to fight for EL spot again. Damn i miss the old days.

Goal difference is irrelavent, win our two games and we are in the champions league, I hope the players don't try and score more goals for goal difference coz I remember a certain Crystal Palace game that cost us big time trying score more.

Stating the obvious but we were 10 points ahead of Arsenal post the Saints game. Arsenal played three and won three since then. 1 point ahead. Pressure is on - can we deal with it?

Never seen him before in my 5 yrs on this forum, Super. He's not an LFC fan except one who has been hiding in his closet since the season began and only came over here to troll us when Arsenal (prolly his team) won a game. We are still in the top 4 till we no longer are, Louigi (your name is not even spelt right, Italian style) so pipe down cos I will love to see your face when (yes, when) we beat WH tmrw. We have ours and your fate in our own hands as of right now and if we do the job, you will be having Thursday night footie next season.

Probably need to wait until post Arsenal game, but if we play at the same level as we have against Stoke and Bournemouth then expect us to get beaten in a similar manner as happened last season i.e. 4 - 1.
Happy for us to play badly and win, provided on most occasions we play well. Remembering back to 13/14 season, I can only recall a few games where we played badly (Hull away, Villa at home - and a couple of others). Last season I could only recall a few games where we played well - and this season has started off in the same manner! We have no chance of finishing top four unless we up our game.
If we play well against Arsenal next week and end up losing I won't actually worry. I suspect what will happen is that we won't play well and we'll lose.

If Stoke had their shooting boots on they'd be two-up (and Johnson would have a goal!) Been depressing viewing so far - don't seem to be able to get any of our attacking players into the game. At least we have some options from the bench this season though to hopefully change things (Firminio, Ings).
