It is my understanding that Liverpool Football Club approached Milan yesterday regarding the possibility of taking Mario Balotelli on loan, which was knocked back. However, talks then progressed onto a potential transfer for balotelli which Milan were more than happy to discuss, talks are still at early stages, but my understanding is that Mario would be interested in a move but the only stumbling block could be wages as LFC may not be able to offer his demands.
Falcao is out of the picture and Liverpool have ended interest in the striker due to wage demands. If a deal fails to bring Balotelli to Anfield, Rodgers will turn his attention back to Wilfreid Bony.

Heard from a very good source that Rodgers is looking to strike a double deal for Shaqiri & Mandzukic from Bayern for a reported fee of 35million for the two. Loveren is a target but aren't prepared to pay over 20million for his services. Liverpool will also step up their interest in Ryan Bertrand. Talks are also continuing with Benfica over the transfer of Lazar Markovic which could see Suso join Benfica on a season long loan.

If borini is wanting to prove himself, deserves a chance. Respect him for not wanting to take the easy way out and join a club just cause he won't be in the starting Xl, fair play to him.

Hi Ed, Just a tad curious as their has been no word what so ever on a Romero/Valdes today? ssn haven't mentioned anything involving us and was just a bit curious because we are terrible with keeping our business a secret, do you think their has been no mention because it is more a less wrapped up or because we are not interested in Romero and would prefer Valdes, I also know that we can sign Valdes at any time due to him being a free agent?

Mario Balotelli will become a LFC player on Tuesday. Medical & personal terms are done. He has flown back to Italy, but is due in Manchester for the game tomorrow. He will then sign the final part of his contract on Tuesday making him a Liverpool player and will join in with first team training on Wednesday ahead of Sundays match with Tottenham.

Markovic to have medical tomorrow and deal should be wrapped up by tomorrow night as fee and personal terms have been agreed I am told.
Origi deal close just a few more details to be cleared up before it can be confirmed. It is more than likely he will return to Lille for the up-coming season.
No other deals that are close to completion at the moment. Loveren deal being held up because of the fee Southampton are asking for and Rodgers and the recruitment team are discussing possible targets to replace Suarez. Targets being looked at are ( Remy, Huntelaar, Jackson Martinez)
Possible outs are Lucas, I'm told he is close to a switch to Serie A with Napoli & Inter Milan both to of declared interest. Rodgers is keen to offload Daniel Agger but knows he will struggle to get the fee he is after for the player due to recent injury troubles he has had.
