Anyone see the article Carra wrote? It's about the Klopp comments on Studge. Pretty much seem's like he's written it to Sturridge tell him to go out there and show what you can do.

Id prefer mane he's rapid and scores goals although mahrez is very good! can we have both its xmas.
I think our main priority is a gk. I have never liked mignolet yet another of the football geniuses buys.
Where would we be now if klopp had been given 200-300 million?

2.) 29 Nov 2015 09:25:42
Swanseared do you even care about the actual football? Or is it all about transfers and what/who we could buy? I'm enjoying what our team improve and excited to see where this team can go.

3.) 29 Nov 2015 12:18:06
Lol so am i i was being sarcastic, with most fans wanting 2 buy a new team each summer!
I don't think we are that far off being very competative but a new gk is a must u can't trust migs atal.
Jurgen klopp is the only singing i wanted an we got him - i'm very happy.

Something red, he might be best like that as you said. But when we have coutinho, lallana, markovic, gerrard that can play in the hole, sterling may be the best option up top. Personally I play lambert off him and get lallana into the team

On merit, Sterling won't start a match for us. One goal till now is a very poor stats.

Just a quick question Eds. If the English teams do well in Europe for a couple of years on the trot, is there a possibility of the Premier League ever getting a 5th Champions League spot?

Zaappp

{Ed001's Note - no.}

1.) The Premier League already had a '5th spot'. When we won the Champions League and finished 5th in the Premier League and Everton finishing 4th. England had 5 teams in the Champions League, in some capacity the next season.

{Ed002's Note - That was an exception.}

Just stumbled upon a good idea for a Raheem Sterling song. To the tune of Bob Marleys Three Little Birds.

You'd better worry, about Raheem
Because only 19, and he's the speed of light.

etc etc

1.) Stick to the day job lad lol

Just a quick question on peoples opinions on who/hat we should sign.

Say we do sign Kono or any attacking player, surely the thinking behind it is that we can out score anyone. We could spend on a new CB with pace and who can organise. Or a DM so break the opponents attacking plays up. But if we were to add more goals to the team, be it a winger who scores or creates more chances for the team, be it with assists or moving coutinho central, we have the weapons to outscore anyone in the league?

Zaappp

1.) My question would be more who will he replace? I mean the front two are untouchable that's for sure. Sterling is the only player I could see him replacing, but even that's a difficult choice because he has been brilliant lately. I can't see us going to 3 at the back really simply because we seem to have found a formation that suits the team. Also if we were to sign a CDM who would they replace? Henderson again has been brilliant, and I can't see BR dropping Stevie. So a bit of a headache for BR, but a good headache if that makes sense!
Cheers,

2.) 30 Jan 2014 20:37:21
Ricardo Rodriguez would be a great signing for left back.
Let's hope we get Konoplyanka.think the Kop would love him!

3.) Thats the thing you cold ease him into the first team and give him some time to adapt.

4.) Could replace coutinho in some games where we need more width. I personally would like to see Suarez playing the supporting striker role to get him on the ball more.

5.) Tbh think it is more about depth and competition, as good as our midfield was against Everton Lucas is are only real DM, Henderson has been outstanding but think he has 5 goals and 7 assist. Clearly not a holding mid and sterlings closest competition is Ibe, were kono would be competition plus a player of the bench. Mean regardless which one starts last thing a defender wants after 70 mins is for the rapid tricky winger to come off for a fresh rapid tricky winger. Plus from what I saw against England he can hit a ball! Plus sakho, enrique, agger, Allen, Lucas coming back and sturridge getting back to match fit.happy days!

6.) 30 Jan 2014 22:19:06
The point is that we need quality in depth.

7.) I still think the defence is dodgy as hell. I'd sign a Left Back. Infact I'd sell Agger and Enrique (sadly both injury prone) and sign Luke Shaw for £25M. Problem solved for the next Ten years. If only football was as simple as that

I think migs has had a relatively good season. but news of us looking for a replacement make sense. I think we would be so much more calmer with a keeper that is good with his feet and has better distribution. it will raise out game that little bit more.

I think a lot of the problem was no forward players showing for the ball. We were fine on the counter, but when they had 10 men behind the ball we struggled to find space. We've struggled against sides that press all season.

Maybe Migs got a new contract to protect his resale value?

Zaappp

{Ed001's Note - which just makes it more difficult to offload him. Resale value is not what clubs should be thinking about when handing out contracts if they want to progress on the pitch.}

I don't mean to knock hendo, but i think we need to make someone else captain. He seems to be trying to do too much himself, trying to be the new Gerrard. Spraying 30 yards passes all over the place. He just needs to concentrate on his game without the pressure of captaincy.

Zaappp

{Ed001's Note - it is his mobility that is worrying me far more, he is not getting round the pitch as well as he did. Maybe it is time to consider altering his role to make it easier on his foot? Have him play as the holding midfielder, he can do that well, but normally it restricts him, now he is restricted anyway.}

Ed002 you say that Barcelona are one of the clubs that are self-sufficient, yet i remember Ed001 saying they are in major debt too a bank and would almost go under if the bank recalled the debt? Any chance you could clear this up please?

Zaappp

{Ed002's Note - They are entirely self-sufficient due to their annual revenue being around €600M - which is more than double that of Liverpool. It is nothing to do with debt.}
