Is it in anyone else’s mind that when you look at our bench that that is the reason we aren’t competing (and I mean winning the league very happy with top. 4 here and confident of a champions league win) in my mind Klopp is awesome and he will know that outside the first 11-14 we are struggling Fekir would be a brilliant addition but Kieta is only a replacement/ upgrade on can, do the Ed’s see a few players coming in to really fill out the squad?

That’s why I think it’s a shame Can is leaving, I think he will be better again next year and we are losing him at his prime.

Can is 23 so nowhere near his prime yet. I wanted him to stay as well BUT these things happen. If he goes then he goes and that is that. Keita is coming in to take his place and I am chuffed about it.

I can see only fringe players leaving with additions ready to challenge for the first team it will improve our bench and options.

Maybe, if not for injuries the beench would have Ox, Can, Matip on there. Depth has been somewhat of an issue for us, but equally imo, we are simplyy still an improving club. Year on year under klopp we have taken steps, but still the bad habits rear their head every now and then. But subjectively I would say we've been more consistent overall and can see that getting better next season with the new additions and players coming back from injury / loan.
