Hi got back from LA recently, from where I posted a little bit of info I'd received from an 'agent'. not THE agent, about VVD situation. What's happening now is exactly what was going to happen. He wants to move now, and it may not be LFC, although that is his preference. The Cue slagging off.

If he is training alone, they will have to review the situation and see if they think once the window closes he is worth keeping and will play. No matter how well of you are, if he won't, then you'd rather 60 million in the bank than an disruptive player. Genuinely believe Liverpool may go and offer 30 million now though - wouldn't put it past us.

It's obvious what is happening, doesn't take a genius pal.

Bit of Info through agent. VVD is moving again. discussions between player and holding club are happening to try and formulate a way of saving face all-round. VVD wants to play for us. end of.

1. It's not happening.

*2. Do you understand how stupid we'd look if we actually signed him? He's not the messiah, let it go. We need to avoid more embarrassment. I think there's been enough, don't you?

3. Is the agent from twitter/ facebook by any chance? He obviously wants more followers, don't believe everything you read.

4. I imagine there's a ton of players who want to sign for us, so I guess that means we're going to just go out and sign them all then? Just because he favours a move to us doesn't mean we will be stupid enough to go and sign him. Well id like to think we wouldn't be anyway. Never know these days.

5. End of!, period!, fact!

I think the SoS group need to read up on the history. They are taking 'pieces' of what is known and remembered and putting together into an ideology. i think the way forward is balance between need for market forces and needs of the fans. the holy trinity might be a romantic idea, but it does actually make practical sense if we get it right.

BTW Shankly himself broke the club transfer record several times in his first season. His first record signing was an expensive flop. He also bought Ray Clemence, Yeats and blended with Callie and Smith. blend and balance.

It's always been a business but one that has to exist wihhinh the community and identify with it. We are a Global Powerhouse but we do sit on a genetic bed of footballers.

I have also travelled to Anfield and end up paying a fortune for tickets off dodge websites so I completely understand the temptation of he owners to price tickets to supply/ demand which would probably be well over Gbp77.

On the other hand I agree with regular fans paying less to ensure tickets are affordable for the regulars and stadium is full, youngsters get to go to games, atmosphere is awesome etc.

Perhaps the answer is most of the tickets should go to season ticket holders and making those cheaper, but keeping a small number of tickets for tourists and registered club members from overseas, and then pricing those to demand much like airlines do?

After travelling from overseas, a ticket of over 100 Gbp is not the end of the world (and far cheaper than the scampers) and availability is more important than price for most international Travelling fans. at least we'd be able to get access when we fly in?

Overall though, hope the owners see sense, reduce the most expensive tickets and it gets resolved, I really want to see the club united and behind Klopp and the team going into next season.

{Ed002's Note - WE are talking about 200 seats for half a dozen games or so a year at £77. That is it - and it is nothing to do with what SOS are looking to achieve}.

What are sos trying to achieve then?

{Ed002's Note - To force the owners out.}

Ed002 - what's happening between Southampton and FC Porto around Iker Casillas do you know? Also, did Fonte (Southapnton captain) contact Oxlade-Chamberlein last year? This question is not to try and trip anyone up or deflect, but just make sure that when talking about clubs behaviours we don't have an eye-patch on?

{Ed002's Note - You don't get it. Players will talk to players all of the time. There is no point me yet again explaining that Liverpool are simply in the gutter as far as professionalism is concerned - and a large number of fans think it is just great. Finding a way to cheat the system, mucking up the lives of others, - yep, just great.}

Transition. if that is indeed your real name. Copies of FIFA 16 are about 45 GBP. When you get beat, you can switch it off. Ta Da!

Cheers Alexi. I was trying to make the point - a bit round the houses - that any success, in any team is based on having the right blend. Leicester haven't done anything unusual. its just that's it's come just at this point in time (revenues up; player power at ridiculous levels, massive remortgaging of infrastructure to restructure 'debt', monetization of passion and duty of fans) - I think the clubs will look at Leicester and stop copying Arsenal and go back to good old fashioned local passionate hungry footballers. And not ones who've been chimney sweeps in the academy's since 8 year olds.
