Without naming or bad mouthing any of the players, what went wrong in the 2nd half. Can we discuss the way we played in terms of strategy etc rather than individual mistakes.

They upped their game and ours collectively dropped. We couldn’t keep the ball because of their press and basically the entire team panicked. This IMO is down to a lack of experience, leadership, faith in the teams ability to defend effectively and most importantly a quality defender who Marshall’s the backline and gives us the defensive confidence we are clearly lacking. Stick any decent, lead by example defender in that team I. e Kompany, Alderweireld etc and we win. Just my opinion. I am so sick of watching us fall apart when put under pressure and until our back half is sorted we will win nothing. Even my UTD fan friends are feeling sorry for me supporting such a frustratingly inconsistent side when Everyman and his dog can see the defence is not and will not be good enough to challenge at the top as it is now and that damages the pride worse than anything. Love Klopp but you can’t polish a turd. No wonder Phil wants to leave because I love Liverpool and even I would be thinking playing up top for us “what’s the point in me working hard to attack and score when I know this shoddy lot behind me will jut concede? ”. Phew. Rant over. Needed that but seriously that defence and defensive side of the midfield is just shocking.

2.) 22 Nov 2017 07:07:38
they pressed us hassled us and really went for it. In simple terms we could cope with it for most part. but we couldn't hold on to the ball.
The major issue for me was the midfield wiji and hendo were off their game a bit (read tired) and they controlled possesion big time. and then we conceded early in the second half, by the time we bought on can and milner, we had already conceded a second goal.
we looked more solid with more people in the midfield but again we couldn't hold on to the ball since there were less options now outside our half.
what we missed in the second half from minute 60-90 was an out ball, we needed a striker like solanke up then for me to hold the ball and ping it to the runners.
Now we can't ignore the bunny here, all three goals were soft, by large individual mistakes esp the third one, when the defensive header didn't go anywhere.
90+ minutes corner against you, you clear the ball to oblivion, that is basic football know how. that is totally acceptable, he could have easily played the ball for another corner. that was the easiest thing to do there in that situation.
we all know what happened that header was school boy stuff. i can't hold the coach responsible for that. that was a bad bad piece of football there from one individual sorry.

3.) 22 Nov 2017 07:45:20
for me it just comes down to intangible. ok, I'm sure we can talk tactics all day. but we simply lack the kind of leaders in the team that can consistently rally the troops when the chips are down. many people have made the same comment, but you had that sense of inevitability after their early goal in the second half. do the players really need klopp to tell them to keep the ball and pass it around? was klopp even saying that? whatever, a couple leaders on the pitch to keep cool heads and navigate tough periods in the match.

4.) 22 Nov 2017 09:56:35
This is what is wrong Henderson and Wiji were not off their game a bit they were complete and utter garbage. They can't keep the ball, they can't spot danger, they can't think, they can't communicate, they are mentally weak and another 50 things.

I want to be much stronger but the posts never see the light.

A bit late but it was refreshing to see some of the lads tossing their shirts into the stands, not for the first time this year. I think this is part of the 'Klopp Magic' and it is awesome to see.

Who disagrees? Really.
I'm not always right but this is just daft!

2.) 07 Mar 2016 21:08:01
Don't worry about it, perfectly relevant posts have 8 to 10 disagrees on them, I got a load for saying I was taking my young fella to a Reds match, just trolls, pay them no attention.

3.) 07 Mar 2016 21:36:23
Mate its trolls don't worry about it. This will get disagree by the same morons with nothing better to do.

Does anyone have an idea what jk was like as a player? How he played, behaved etc and how he was as a team mate?

I would like the opinion of the 'not so regular' as well as the regular posters as who they rate in terms of posts, opinions etc.

I quite enjoy redohio's post, informative with structure as well as the real ag. Good stuff posted. Big al, Dave bootle, all good posters. I often might not agree but that's why it's a forum and banter, but some guys, holy crap, not sure what planet they from or in what state they watch matches or write their posts in. European glory, unbelievable but we are well informed of these 2.

So what are the options out there, let's hear them.

Up and down

1.) 29 Oct 2015 14:18:21
Obviously mine are the best. jokes aside, I don't think you can 'rate' posters. The best thing about this site is the sheer diversity of opinions and the resulting debates. People may not agree with European glory but who's to say he is wrong? Unless you're Mr. Klopp himself I think all you can do is have an opinion and enjoy reading everyone else's. We may not all agree, but one thing we all have in common is that we all support the same club (hopefully anyway! ) .

2.) 29 Oct 2015 14:22:11
Never seen you before mate. Hence no opinion on your post. Red rum is a good poster, Bobarton for me is the best of the bunch ( I had some fantastic debate with him here ) Adam once used to be really good not anymore. AG says very less but makes it precise.
Waro is the most blunt person on earth. Big AL and Mighty Reds write well. Reet always brings humor to site and all others write well.

3.) 29 Oct 2015 14:57:59
That "Ron Keague" is a clueless jerk!
Otherwise everyone else is brilliant.

4.) 29 Oct 2015 15:21:38
With regards to posters that actually seem to try and put something well constructed I find Red Rum, RedOhio, AG, Fencey to be isightful

Adam (EMS) I find interesting and enjoy discussing statistics with him and his manipulation of them :)

Waro I enjoy engaging with every now and then, I find his stuff with Ron brilliant and wish they had their own board.

Red since 64 I don't think I have ever agreed with, or Ozone. Red Lobster I;m still sure is a man u fan in disguise.

Harry I sometimes find funny, othertimes I bang my head against the wall. He's like a dog with a chew toy on subjects.

I enjoy the site either way.

5.) 29 Oct 2015 15:26:47
I would read red ohios if i'm looking through posts . Ag can be fair game at times. There is a few good posters though.
edd01 best of the bunch. Man has wealth of knowledge about the club and game. Very rarely i would disagree. Edd002 is the info man and very funny at times.

6.) 29 Oct 2015 15:40:23
My first "agree" of 2015 ☺️.

7.) 29 Oct 2015 15:50:42
Forgot to mention adam/ems. I stay away from his posts now. He had a breakdown on me last time. Different view on players and anything football related but he's a good lad .

8.) 29 Oct 2015 16:03:39
Ag and Ron Keague. Adam too but he is rarely around these days. Mayne was an excellent poster. RK often posts polarising views but actually backs up them and takes a fair amount of schmidt fairly. Ag has been around since a very long time and ome of the few posters whose posts i read whenever i see.
Ken aguero was all class but seems to have been kidnapped.
Harry's posts either induce laughter or suicidal tendencies in me.
Andtheres obviously Ed001 who seems to be getting grumpier as he enters his 130's.
And then there's that reet fella obviously noone compares to him in spouting nonsense 😁.

9.) 29 Oct 2015 16:29:47
I disagree with a lot of what he says but Bobatron knows how to argue his views. I generally like Ron's posts, partly because I often agree with them but I also think he's less prone to sensationalism than most. I find Ed2 very insightful, apart from when he's being grumpy of course. Ed1 is a font of all knowledge but he does seem to take offence if you disagree with him. Meeowmers knocked me for six when I had a go at one of his posts and he turned out to be a thoroughly decent bloke. I never have a clue what to make of Harry's posts so I tend to steer clear. I generally love the posters who engage in debate and have less time for those who are more absolute in their views.

10.) 29 Oct 2015 17:09:39
The problem is with posting is that it can come across in a totally different manner in which it was intended.

I think EMS structures his posts brilliantly though.

Ron seems old school to me.

Waro is a man of principle with the psychological aspect of having 'war' in his name.

11.) 29 Oct 2015 17:20:35
Tel 1949 for me.

12.) 29 Oct 2015 18:34:47
i like the lad who does the podcast.

13.) 29 Oct 2015 18:36:29
I am not very good in remembering names so I will say what types of posters I prefer to read here. And of course I try to be one of them, if and when I am successful on not is not for me to judge.

I prefer posters who have their own opinions and are not afraid to challenge the common consensus that sometime exist in this site about something in LFC (e. g. Skertl is the source of all our problems including our poor forward game, etc), and that are not afraid to argue (respectfully) with others, even if the others are the eds (and who do not constantly need reassurances from the eds or others that they are right) .

I prefer posters who can change their mind about something and especially about players when the reality changes (i. e. when the players become better or worse, consistently as happens sometime) .
I prefer posters who are realistic in their assessment of our squad or of particular players (I accept that I may tend to other direction and am not easy to please or to become enthusiastic about a player at least until I see some consistent product in the form of assists or goals) .

I prefer posters who do not see the main role of the senior team to give chances to young players (but rather to win) and that judge events and players like they would have judged them if they weren’t LFC supporters (e. g. if a player left us, while they may say they dislike him personally, they don’t automatically have to argue that he is the worst player even and that anyone in our academy is ten times better) .

Posters who annoys me are posters who call to ‘cash in’ on (good) players or to sell them anyway (unless they are clear disruption to the team) but mainly those who confuse between talking to a group of fans in the pub before they are all going to Enfield to watch a game against United and writing here. There you do want to make sure everyone are going to be loud in their support the team, support the manager, support every player etc and tell United how rubbish we think they are while the role of this banter site which is for LFC supporters to share their views including their frustrations and honest judgement on poor performances of the team, a player or the manager.

14.) 29 Oct 2015 19:16:30
I like that lad too benny.

15.) 29 Oct 2015 19:34:56
I think that lad is an idiot benny huh? 😂.

16.) 29 Oct 2015 20:50:16
Nobody like me anymore? : (
Waro was right I am fast becoming the most hated on here haha
I always look out for AG, macca, Adam, Harry, reet, bobatron, Waro, Benny, far too many to name and so many older posters who seem to have disappeared who where great to read. Blair, Ken aguero etc
Always look out for something an ed has commented on as well as it's usually worth a read.

17.) 29 Oct 2015 22:50:38
I thank those who enjoy reading my posts. It is indeed a compliment. I do enjoy posters like Red Rum, Essexred, Waro, Boba, Mikey1985 and many others I fail to remember. This forum is made of diverse ops and ideas and I can't wait to get on it everyday. We all want our club to do well but may disagree with how we become successful. All in all, great posters all round!
