Eds - With regards to the Echo story on Ojo going out on-loan? 1) do you know how high the interest is (does a Championship club want to take him)? 2) Does he have to wait till he's 18 (June) in other words till next season?

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - He could make a youth loan to a lower league team but he would likely not get in most Championship sides. I would say he is too young and it may do more harm than good - remembering he still has to attend school etc..}

1.) 29 Jan 2015 23:52:04
Looks like he's signing for Wigan, could be a good move but he could be in a sinking ship that could hurt his confidence, Wigan have sold 3/4 of their best players this window and still don't have a goal scorer which they blatantly need

EDS - I know you've just commented on Origi, but BR didn't give a conclusive no to us bringing him in. Does this suggest a) someone could still leave b) they'll take him if Lille lower the price enough

Through the Storm

{Ed001's Note - yes, they won't hence why Ibe was recalled.}

Eds Has Suso signed a pre-contract with AC as Marca and Italian media are reporting?

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - He will - this should not be a shock.}

1.) 06 Jan 2015 02:56:19
No, I' think you've made it clear it probably end up in Italy.

2.) 06 Jan 2015 09:44:39
Stupid really, he is a very good player and we are letting him go. This will be another Paul Pogba situation where suso will be class for AC and Liverpool will want him back

EDs - I know what you've said about Origi & an early move but given that the player himself has now publicly said he'd be open to it (as reported in the award winning Echo), is this a sign that a deal maybe worked out.

Origi: "Although I agreed to stay with Lille until the end of this season, if there was that chance of joining Liverpool sooner, I would take it - I would love to move sooner rather than later."

Through the Storm

{Ed001's Note - it was never about Origi, it was always about Lille and the deal signed with Liverpool. The reason it is unlikely to happen is simply because we have to pay a large fee to get him.}

Eds you don't have earlier answers on this - can you shed light on today's reports from Sportmediaset and FootballItalia that Lucas is heading for Napoli on 2m euro loan with 10m option to buy?

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - It was probably deleted. I don't know any details of any loans but the club will be keen to move players on this week. €10M for Lucas in a years time seems rather high to me.}

Ed 002 - seriously you are over dramatizing! LFC have 27 senior players of whom 4 are expected to leave (loan or sale) plus 2 more loans. They will not have too many players. Plus Flanagan won't be registered till Jan.

FFP issues. The top writers on FFP don't know what the rules are right now. How can you predict imminent problems?

Ed 001 - You said it would take a podcast to explain - I can arrange that. You have an email for me.

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - There are no specific questions but words like "top writers". What are you asking?}

1.) 21 Aug 2015 08:40:09
The OP wants you to discuss with him the issue regarding the transfers, I think. On a podcast.

{Ed001's Note - well that's not going to happen, that is not what I meant by it would take a podcast to explain.}

2.) 21 Aug 2015 10:19:19
theres really more to it than just number of players on a piece of paper.

3.) 21 Aug 2015 15:58:25
It wasn't long ago you were losing $/£€(?)1million a week. While you've got rid of some high earners you haven't slashed that much off the books, and seeing as though FFP allows club owners to invest up to £45m over three years, to cover loses, in order to comply, I'd say you're still in a whole lot of trouble.

The fact you've spent before selling, again, and been left with your pants around your ankles when it comes to selling the players that won't get games, shows the club is struggling to learn from their mistakes.

I would like to know who these 'top writers' are, who haven't a clue about how FFP works, as from around 1-2 years before it was implemented, Ed002 has given us explainations as to how it works, and the likely punishments. Something tells me that you're reading the wrong sites.

eds - do you see Sterling being added to the tour party as an attempt to get him to submit a transfer request

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - He is a Liverpool player and contracted to do as instructed and go on tour. If an acceptable bid is placed before he goes on tour they may decide to leave him behind. Try not to look for underlying stories and secret messages.}

1.) 11 Jul 2015 17:36:09
Sterling will no doubt help sell tickets

2.) 11 Jul 2015 22:10:29
In Australia, all the tickets are sold i believe and i doubt many adult Liverpool supporters feel that differently about Sterling here than they do in the UK i.e. a soon to be ex-Red.

Eds - do you know if Paco Ayestaran will be coming back to Anfield?

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - RTP.}

1.) 07 Jun 2015 07:43:08
I hope these rumors about Pako coming back are true. If and when Brendan gets the boot, the club will have a ready made replacement to turn to instead of throwing money at an outsider. Also won the treble in Israel inspite of being relatively new to the role of manager and the players will know how important he was to the club win the Rafa years so hopefully he comes in.

2.) 07 Jun 2015 09:46:27
The man is overqualified for the position (asst manager), and it would be a step backwards in his career.

3.) 07 Jun 2015 09:50:10
I can't see wanting a job as a no2 now that he has had the taste of being the boss. I can see him possibly looking for a coaching job in Europe if anything.

4.) 07 Jun 2015 11:34:43
This could be a Houllier/Evans situation.

5.) 07 Jun 2015 12:44:20
Agree with Davey, Pako could go to a less high profile job in Europe as a manager, but this would be a chance to audition for the LFC top job.

02 Jun 2015 21:30:06
Eds what do you know of multiple media sources that LFC would want Gibbs and Walcott in any deal for Sterling.

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - Nothing.}

1.) 03 Jun 2015 00:00:00
They must be on some overdose on pain killers

25 Apr 2015 02:48:22
Eds do you have knowledge on the alleged meeting between Ian Ayre and Memphis Depay on Thursday? It seems certain he did fly into Manchester, & while the Mail contends he met with Man Utd., ESPN is convinced that only Liverpool have permission to speak with him?

Through the Storm

{Ed002's Note - It is best to ignore tittle-tattle.}

1.) 25 Apr 2015 15:00:11
Daily Star LFC hold a SECRET meeting with depay and advisers so how can it be a secret meeting if it is all over the paper

I'd seen (before the Stoke disaster) that it was scheduled for that it was June 1st, presumably for a meeting on the 2nd. But the source is unproven.

The fact that BR is not flying to Boston on Monday strongly suggests that his job is safe.

It was because Premier League rules prohibit it. That was the statement from the F.A.! Had Burnley been in the Championship it would have been OK and may well have happened.

Through the Storm

{Ed001's Note - I only read the buy in Jan bit sorry. You are correct that a loan back could not have been done.}

The lack of pace in the front line meant Wimbledon built unchallenged at the back, knocking up balls to their monster CF with ease.

Gerrard's genius produced 2 goals against a L2 team. But the inability of anyone at the front to defend would have us in hot water with any PL team.
