Hi Eds,

Are there any legs to the rumours that Rodgers is looking to do a deal for Thorgen Hazard from Chelsea?
Think this would be a major coup, last I heard many in the know regarded Thorgen as a better quality prospect than Eden

{Ed002's Note - I am not aware of any interest from Liverpool.}

Hi Eds. Is there any more news on Alderweireld? Do you believe he is our 1st choice target for defenders? {Ed002's Note - There is nothing new.}

Hi Eds,
Is there any truth behind the Mane agreement with Madrid?

Hi Eds,
Can we assume there is a chance of Lemar (albeit as Coutinho replacement) with Monaco now signing Keita Balde from Lazio? Seems they signed Jovetic as Mbappe replacement.

The Cobra

{Ed002's Note - The situation is as explained.}

Sounds like Monaco don't want to sell him Cobra regardless of who they have signed. Another one we are chasing whos club don't need to sell.

Keita Balde is a good signing for them, I must admit.

Hi Eds,
What's the view on Juanma? Is he good enough to be drafted in if we had a run of injuries to Milner, Moreno etc?

The Cobra

{Ed001's Note - the ones that are currently seen as potentials for the first team are all in the list of the first team squad on the official site mate. I can't remember off the top of my head exactly who is in there and I am on mobile data right now so don't want to check as sites like that eat data with all the pretty pictures and vids.}

You mean like this site Ed ;)

{Ed001's Note - I don't know mate, I see a blank page when I am editing.}

So do most users by the looks of things Ed, or you wouldn't have to repeat yourselves quite so much!

{Ed001's Note - hahaha good point.}

Sounds like the deal for Papadopolous is just about done, however a problem with his knee has been flagged up and needs a second MRI scan to check. Deal expected to be around 17M.

A more than worthy replacement for the great Carragher. He's a big unit who likes a tackle, looking forward to this one. Good start Brendan!

I do absolutely agree with you ED001 on the response to my post above, how much of it though was outside influence on Stevie? Him toying with the idea of joining Chelsea before our Istanbul win, the book just released etc. As with many players these days, they are very mis-informed/pushed in the wrong direction at times. I just hope that going forward we have players who would run through brick walls for the team, fans and manager, much like he did time and again. I 100% don't think he should return in a playing capacity - we have a new direction now and I believe it looks very promising.

The Cobra

{Ed001's Note - outside influence? He only has hangers on and suck ups around him. The problem with Gerrard has always been the lack of an outside influence to make him realise he is not some kind of god. He is so high on his own importance that he forgets about everything else, which was why a bit of flattery saw him desperate to run off to Chelsea. He wanted to put out the book, no one pushed him into it. Gerrard has always had everyone around him saying how great he is and no one to ever keep him in check, that is his problem. What he needed was someone keeping his feet on the ground, what he constantly got were people pandering to him, then he had so much power around the club no one could do anything else.}

Can't believe how much garbage I read on here about one of the greatest players ever to wear the red shirt! Maybe his legs have gone - not surprising with how many times he had to drag us through matches! I really hope he does return to us, even if it is only to train and earn his badges. I think he'd learn massively from Klopp, just being around him for a few weeks. Not sure we need him playing, as I can already see Klopp's influence starting to imprint on our squad - perfect example is giving Lucas the confidence and belief in himself to come back to the level he is currently playing at. But please don't know Stevie, show some respect.

The Cobra

{Ed001's Note - perhaps he should have thought of that when he was putting out his latest moneymaking scheme. Gerrard showed the club no respect, acted with no class, with that book. It is difficult to respect someone who shows so little respect to others. What he earnt on the pitch, he did his best to ruin off the pitch with his own actions throughout his career.}
