Just wanted to say. Newcastle looked really good with their new signings.

I think they might have a good start to the season as they did a couple/3 years ago.

In terms of our Liverpool Fc. I actually really enjoyed the game yesterday. It just shows how competitive the Premiership is nowadays. Southampton were always going to give us a hard game. Not just with them being our bogey team, but obviously with the players we bought off them and the fact that their current players wanted to perform well for Koeman. This was never going to be easy.

LFC, in my eyes showed again why we can compete with the top 4 again. A few seasons ago we would have lost that game, but we absorbed their pressure, we battled, we had some great individual performances including Mignolet who made some fantastic stops and this shows just how far Brendan has taken the club in terms of their commitment.

We have MCFC next which will be hard, but like I said, there won't be any easy games this year. I do believe we have a better squad and YES we do need another playmaking goal scorer and I'm convinced we will have that addition before the window shuts.

Moving forward, Lucas needs to be a backup player ONLY. He wasn't good enough yesterday and the introduction of Allen showed that clearly.

Couthinio had an off day with plenty of mistakes, mis passes and looked a little tired. Although I will say again Southampton targeted him well and all in all they played a good game at Anfield.

I actually thought Skrtle played okay, that's just my opinion. Listen he is not the best but he plays ALWAYS with passion and desire to win the ball. Lovren will be able to assist him and Sakho. The defence I think will end up being the best in the league this year. Great additions!

Prob GERRARDS last season as a first choice player. To me he has lost loads of pace and even some of his passing looked tired, but you can't take anything away from the guy.

HENDO, sterling, and STURRIDGE once again showed how we have prob the best English players in the league. They will be the outstanding players for the team this year. If Lallana comes back fitter and stronger and shows the quality he did for Southampton too, we will be right up there this year and prob do ok in the other competitions too.

Cheers

Both Origi and Remy passed medical. . Origi will sign tomorrow then jet back to France. Remy has signed and has now gone to New York to meet up with family before joining LFC next week. Both will be unveiled same time as Lovren, who incidentally is expected at Anfield to complete a medical tomorrow before jetting off to join the lads in Chigago. Cheers

My opinion. Do the scouts of Spurs just follow what we do in the transfer target market.? If you read the BBC gossip pageS AGAIN today AND other medias it says LFC are after X and so are Spurs. LFC look to up their bid for Y and Spurs hold an interest. Spurs are looking to knock LFC off the interest of X LFC have upped their bud for Y but Spurs are willing to match???

Do they not have good enough thoughts on individuals without having to find out what other teams are planning to go after?

My opinion to All the Eds and fellow supporters is that I'm not at all afraid about goals next season. We have Gerrard x 8-10 per season. Sturridge x 20-25. Lambert 15-20.Sterling x 10-15. Continuo x 5-10. Lallana x 5-10 and the few defenders heads and freakish In offs and deflections. You do the maths :)

When a big name leaves or gets injured. Others fill in and play better to prove a point and be noticed. Let's give these guys a good chance. We will be in CL next season too.

Can't wait for the first game!

Here's my thoughts. It's just my opinion. I'm sure some will agree and some disagree.

Suarez will be sold, no question. I think the fee will be in the region on 60-70 million. Less because of the recent saga.

Replacement for Suarez?. I don't think you can replace Suarez. However I feel with the way this club is being positively manipulated by Brendan Rogers, Suarez's attitude toward the club in my opinion STINKS. He is only out for himself. Ok in some eyes, not a bad thing and we all need to look out for number one.BUT this is LFC. A club that has ALWAYS been united in everything they do from the players to the fans to the staff to everyone associated. Just take the Hillsborough tragedy as an example and the way we ALL are NEVER going to rest properly/forget/forgive even when justice prevails. That shows how close knit/passionate/loyal this club is with everyone that supports it.
Suarez does NOT fit in that category. Great player but a complete misfit as a person. He will continue to be a burden on the name of arguably the most well known and loved football team on the planet.

As far as who comes in?. Tell you what Sterling, Lallana, STURRIDGE and lambert ain't a bad forward line. If I had to pick one more goal scorer to look at bringing in, then my money would be pushed in the way of shakiri.
This guy has bags of energy/quality and most of all passion.

I have a family and kids and they are my life and will always come first, my football team are a very close second and that is why I'm so glad I share this club with you guys. What we don't need is egotistic, nasty and down right sorry individuals in MY TEAM.
Thanks Suarez but your not welcome.

Thanks for reading
