Think Chamberlain would be a very shrewd signing and would probe a lot of people wrong.

Flanno might not be the greatest footballer but what he brings to the table is passion and desire which you won't see from him unless he is wearing a red shirt! He is a true Liverpool fan that will put it on the line for the club and its in the games against the lesser teams that he could be invaluable for us.

Just think back to the game we beat Arsenal 6-1 he had us up and at em from the first minute and was arguably man of the match against one of the best footballing sides in the league. talent only takes you so far on matchday the rest comes down to heart and Flanno has plenty of that. something we havelacked and has cost us games this season. Its a shame that so called fans will slate off one of the only true Liverpool fans at the club.

Quincy Promes is an awesome player that more importantly would compliment our team. Ojo needs a few years to get to his level. he has pace power and quick feet decent passing range. wouldn't be a bad signing especially playing with the front line we have.

No its just the fact that any time fans want to discuss transfers to add to the squad its shut down with the "what about the youth" or "its nonesense". I have been reading this site for years and you Ed01 are one of the main people who claim we should us youth players in reply to 99.9% of suggestions people have or even when they just ask for your opinion on a player and its getting boring to be honest. Yes I get that a lot of suggestions are unrealistic but admiring a player and wanting them to be in your team isn't a crime or mean your on drugs. We don't have a strong youth system or many good youth players so we do need back ups for injury and to create competition if we want to compete at the top end of the game. Some of the players you think are worthy of a start wouldn't get into teams at the lower end of the prem nevermind liverpool and that is my point. I won't hold my breath that this will be posted by the way I see you guys are selective on what gets through and can see discussion isn't welcome so i won't bother posting anymore.

Slimz

{Ed001's Note - sorry but we do have a strong youth system and many good youth players, so why even make that ignorant statement? The problem has never been about a lack of youth players, it has always been about a lack of opportunities. Perhaps if you took the time to understand that, then you wouldn't start such stupid arguments.

As for discussion isn't welcome, why were your previous comments posted then? It is pathetic people like you, who get all precious when people disagree with them, that ruin discussions, when they run off crying because we don't agree with you. Just like you are doing now. Grow up and man up.}

Lol just remember these are the same people who was slagging off Rodgers for not playing Jay Spearing and Adam Morgan and replacing them with Joe Allen who is actually prem quality but still not good enough for Liverpool. im sorry to say but Liverpool don't produce many good academy players even the bitters have a better system so until we improve it we need to buy players. we waste money either way on crap youth TEAMS so buying a few high end players that could actually make the difference seems the more logical option for the time being. but apparently we are the idiots who don't get it. i can't think of one youth player who left us that we have regretted. EVER!

Slimz

{Ed001's Note - what on earth? Your posts are just descending into gibberish. No one slagged off Rodgers for not playing those two, you clearly live in a dream world where you just make things up in your head to suit your latest dribble you are spouting on the pages.}

Would rather the patience being shown to Lucas (who has been consistently awful in defence) was shown to a youngster not a player on his way out. one half decent game doesn't make up for the endless list of nightmares he has had. one of the kids couldn't do much worse.

Slimz

{Ed001's Note - endless list of nightmares? Some of you people dream up utter bull! Lying to make a point just makes you seem like an arse.}

Everyone talks about 'giving players time' but we have been doing that for years and how far has that got us? If someone has an opinion that a player isn't that great then apparently they are clueless but i'm sure the same people wanted to wait on Carrol and Balotelli and all these other players who turned out to be nobodies. unfortunately hope doesn't win football matches and allowing crap players to keep playing doesn't make them or the team better. if we keep being a club that develops players and doesn't ever have players that are fully developed when will we achieve anything? How many players that were crap at 23 turn out to be world class? (And i'm not talking about players who perform but don't get the pundits approval like Suarez for example) i'm sure 90% of people here claimed Lovren would come good and we are still waiting. I think Migs would look world class in our current team as he is actually an excellent shot stopper but terrible at claiming crosses and commanding his area but we don't seem to concede as many corners or crosses with Clyne and Milner blocking most attempts. again Klopp didn't make any in game tactical changes to try and win the match. i'm really not sure what his role is on matchday or outside of Melwood. great coach poor manager.

We don't always have to agree with you Ed001. but your right sometimes the teams intensity won't be as high as usual. that's when the manager is supposed to step in and do his job and make some changes or jig the team around. even a sunday league coach knows that. it didn't happen yesterday. for bournemouth it did and hats off to them. eddie howe check mated klopp end of. he knew lucas was a weakness and he adapted to it klopp didn't and we lost the game. same mistakes from the Europa League final.

Slimz

{Ed001's Note - if you say so, strange that Lucas is not a full back or winger, and you claim Howe's 'master stroke', which was putting on a wide player and putting Ake to left back, was targeted at Lucas. Just shows you know nothing about what you are talking about, clearly you would not even get a job as a Sunday league manager.}

Ed001- Regardless of why Mane went off. Eddie Howes impact had the desired effect. and what did Klopp do to counter it? Is that not the point of the manager on matchday? I like Klopp as a coach but he has a lot to learn as a manager. that's all i'm saying.

Slimz

{Ed001's Note - if you say so. Amazing how you lot only appear when we lose.}
