sorry eds, just meant to ask a couple of questions on my post a second ago. Firstly, do you know anything about the manager situation not already out there as to the likelihood of Rodger's staying? Also, not that there.s necessarily a link to Liverpool as we're pretty much committed to Moreno given his fee, but what is the situation with Bertrand as I really rate him, his loan with Southampton is over I believe and he's surely far too good to sit on the bench at chelsea?

Im still of the opinion we should have bought Bertrand ourselves. I think he would have done well here.

ed you say overrun with centre backs but i'd argue none of them are of good enough quality and we had to play consecutive games with a player being played out of position at CB (Lucas vs stoke and Enrique in fa cup) so we don't exactly have too many CB's, yes I know we were struck with a stupidly unlucky spell of injuries but i'd say that Sakho and Toure are now injury prone, caulkers gone at the end of the season (along with toure) and Lovren gets more than his fair share of injuries. Therefore if a CB of the quality and as proven as Cahill became available at a sensible price I would've thought it'd be a great deal for us and more beneficial than signing yet another attacking midfielder to be played out of position up front (Teixera)
{Ed002's Note - Lovren, Sakho, Skrtel, Toure, Caulker is overrun. Yes, they had to make do when folks were injured in a couple of games. Tough.}
