Hi all.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s game, hopefully our front 3 will be firing tomorrow. Cardiff were solid defensively in the championship but have never faced anything like our front 3. In predicting a 3-0 win, our confidence will be high after Wednesday night! Come on boys YNWA.

RedMane

{Ed0333's Note - I hope we give them a good hiding as well RedMane. I’ll be there with my missus and my blinkered and unconditional man love for Mo. I hope Fab plays would like to watch him live to see how he moves and positions himself. Hope your 3-0 prediction comes true but I’m sure we’ll better that as Cardiff are abysmal.

I too would like to see fab play. He did well on Wednesday so hopefully if he plays then he’ll perform to a good standard again. Enjoy the match mate!

{Ed0333's Note - thanks buddy. My wife is going with me because she fancies Karius. She’s in for a shock...

2.) 26 Oct 2018 23:04:27
Maybe your missus was distracting him in that CL final?
I joke there Ed, the positive is at least she’ll see a genuine top quality keeper this time!

{Ed0333's Note - I was in Dallas watching the final in a sports bar. I literally looked down for a split second at the menu and Karius had given the ball to benzema to score. You’ll be glad to hear I won’t have a menu anywhere near me during the game so hopefully history won’t repeat itself mate. I’m pretty sure my Mrs will come away from tommorows game being dazzled by our new poster boy in between the sticks.

3.) 26 Oct 2018 23:10:19
Fabhino really grew into the game on Wednesday night, you see the game in such a different light when you’re there. He did look good, albeit against a poor side.

I just hope we smash Cardiff, we were saying the same about Huddersfield! - How poor they’ve been.

{Ed0333's Note -you’re right about complacency Drogie but against Huddersfield we had a much changed team and we’d just had a 2 week international break two factors which both inhibted our flow. I’m sure we will swat Cardiff away with comparative ease, that’s not arrogance but confidence. I think we’ll play the team Klopp invisiges as his first 11 bar Keita which will give Cardiff a whole lot of heartache. I think you’ll see Salah re-emerge tommorow mate. Bobby looks like he’s in the mood again and if Fab plays anything like that second half he did against Belgrade well win the midfield battle. I think this team clicking is just a matter of time.

4.) 26 Oct 2018 23:33:37
Yes, I am sure that Fab will play, a slight difference in formation, but more of an attacking one, a lot more forward passes, giving more play in final third, ha, giving more goals,
I can see the team going up a gear now, I can feel it too,
great time to be a Liverpool Fan .
YNWA .

5.) 27 Oct 2018 00:42:04
Cardiff are a better team than Red Star. It will be difficult but hopefully we start fast and smash them.

6.) 27 Oct 2018 10:46:20
LiverpoolFC8, Cardiff a better team than Red Star? Can’t agree with you on that. Red Star are a good team, probably Europa League rather than Champions League standard, who would probably finish top 10/ mid-table in the PL. Cardiff are a typical Warnock team full of big athletes who hassle the opposition and work hard but lack PL quality all over the pitch and will surely be relegated.

7.) 27 Oct 2018 13:31:16
Cardiff a better team than Red Star? LFC08, you clearly did not see both teams play this season. Red Star are in the CL and put us under pressure in the first 15 mins. and played good stuff. They also got a draw vs Napoli in their first CL game. Cardiff on the other hand, are awful from top to bottom. They would not score a goal in the CL much less get a point. That does not mean we will beat them easily BUT they are dross and are heavy favs. for the drop. There is NO comparison btw the two teams, really.

8.) 27 Oct 2018 23:30:13
Red star didn't win a raffle to play CL. We make teams look poor, how many times must we prove it.

9.) 27 Oct 2018 23:31:36
To answer my own question we have to keep proving it until we win something, but everytime we play well there is a rush to criticize our opponents instead.

10.) 27 Oct 2018 10:06:13
With you on the confidence tip there, Ed. I hope Klopp goes with the same lineup as he did in midweek cos that is to me, the preferred lineup for "parked buses" as the flow and movement of the front 4 will give them chills. Fab has to start as well so he can get to grips with the PL thrust and thunder atmosphere and what better game to do that than vs a team that may not even get a sniff of the ball. 3 points is all I care about, tho. The no. of goals we score are a bonus.

{Ed0333's Note - sorry for the late reply to your post Brover I had a weekend in Liverpool and wasn’t editing. It wasn’t the starting 11 most inviseged or had hoped for but Klopp explained his reasonings for not starting Shaq and Robbo. For me it was a very lackluster display against an exceptionally poor Cardiff team who are so dire I think they’d draw against a team of Stevie Wonders. We werent playing with any verve and certainly no heavy metal. This new circumspect Liverpool way of playing is a lot less prettier on the eye. It was a flat game of football for the most part but we got 3 points which is what matters. Positives? Salah, Gini and Shaq and Fab. Negatives? Lalana, Lalana and Lalana.

Hi guys. This is my first post, been following this site for a while now and thought I’d get in on the fun especially after lasts nights performance which was outstanding.
Fabinho and Gini looked absolutely quality together, I hope we see more of that combo in our upcoming games. Shaqiri is definitely deserving of a start v Cardiff and finally is was good to see the front 3 all get in the score sheet.

Welcome RM.

3.) 25 Oct 2018 09:54:50
Yes mate playing fabihno allows the likes of gini Shaq Milner keita even Henderson too get forward more hope fabihno can kick on an Nail his place in the team could b so important, just nice too see him play 90mins an gain some confidence all be it against inferior opposition, b scary if him an Keita click in that midfield .

4.) 25 Oct 2018 09:55:42
Yes, welcome RM mate, hope to see more posts from you :) .

5.) 25 Oct 2018 10:10:26
You play a midfield two or mid field three depending on the opposition that's infront of you. Klopp may go for a two again against Cardiff but I doubt he will do that against Arsenal.

6.) 25 Oct 2018 15:21:40
Thanks for the welcome guys!

I’m in agreement with you Salah. Definitely using wolves as a stepping stone, he’s a class act and I can honestly see him going to city. Definitely wouldn’t say no to Hinckley though.

Always enjoyed reading these on a morning. So now I have an account I can say, thank you ed for putting the time and effort in to deliver these every day. And also, thank you to all the other Ed’s for their contribution.

Rivalry aside fair play to Coleman (and meyler) for matching klopps donation shows class that he has done that.

RedMane

{Ed001's Note - really glad you enjoy them mate and agreed on Coleman deserves a lot of credit for that.}
