Post the dreaded international break we will either rebound and put in a hell of a performance against MU (optimistic thinking - even bearing in mind they are all over the place as a team, but will be up for us) or capitulate a la West Ham which will drain any sense of confidence in BR. In this case serious consideration has to be given to a manager who cruised through a great season thanks to SAS and virtually nothing to do with his own ability.
The question though is who could we bring in to replace him?

Would likely have to be a manager already employed, which makes things tricky. Wouldn't surprise me if that happened if O'Driscoll just took over for the remainder of the year.

Has BR got tenure? This can only be the explanation.

My thought exactly, RDL although Ed has said, it's his job till the summer even tho they would sack him mid season if it came to it but I don't believe that because they had a chance to sack him in the mid of last season but didn't

Personally I hope BR becomes manager of Chelsea to replace Maureen - that would put them firmly mid-table!

The issue is not really what the fans would do - sadly we are all experts!!!! The issue is how the team is set up, the whether the players are up for it which, I'm afraid, only 2 or 3 will be. I am dreading this game against a below par United, instead of relishing them over the years. I just hope my lack of confidence is misplaced and we play a blinder. I agree entirely that if we lose, our season is in real trouble so early into the season.

You're talking nonesense; €50 million then he'll loan him out to Watford and pay his wages.

My source tells me that Rogers has been given until Christmas to see if he can turn things around, if not Old purple nose himself, SAF, is waiting in the wings thus explaining why he decided to take time out of management. Oh these voices, these voices: where's my medication?
