Last 10 mins emre can showed what missing in our midfield. He's the boss.
1.) That chipped pass. I'm telling you, this guy is the next Yaya Toure. We all said months ago that he is wasted in a defensive role. Hopefully long term, he will move further forward.
2.) Haha, said that to my brother EMS, though we agreed we shouldn't be comparing him to a lesser player to the boss that is Can. ;)

He's an absolute beast. No less a judge than Michael Ballack has said this guy will be a star. Pragmatic to put him in the back 3 for now but be nice to see Lovren or Toure move into the back 3 and Can into a 3 man midfield with Lucas and Hendo
4.) Yes EMS, jackie chan is going to be a Liverpol great, you mite have seen in one or two of my posts, that I have him as the man to take over from Stevie G, and i believe he could even be our captain further on .
5.) Yeah that's why I just logged on tonight to say the exact same thing.
In the absence on Lucas he should have taken his place, late on tonight showed why.
6.) Couldn't agree more RedGaruda, what a player he's going to be in years to come.
I think next season he'll move forward into midfield.
Some credit for Rodgers too, in terms of picking up the likes of Can, Coutinho and Sturridge for relative buttons.
What price those three now?

9.) Yes every time I see him in the opposition half he looks a threat. I see Some of YaYa in him too plus some real strength and determination. He has a shot on him too I suspect as well. What are his stats on FIFA ha ha!?
10.) He should be in midfield NOW, IMO. We have CB`s like Lovren, Toure and Ilori (out on loan) YET we are playing Can who is wasted there. He needs to be in midfield and wreak havoc on the opposition like he did today.
N BTW, I remember watching the end of the CL final b/w Bayern and BVB and if you look carefully at the celebrations, you will find a young, you guessed it. EMRE CAN! He was in that squad drunk w/ talent. Says it all!
