Just heard we signed a 16 year old french lad called larouci. No idea if it's true just thought I would share. Was the under 16 captain at Le harve and is due to arrive in a cpl of weeks.

1.) 21 Feb 2017 11:53:49
Yeah on a free. Ask ed if he is avaliabke to play if he's signed.

Academy that produced pogba, payet and mahrez. There captain. Next big thing apparently. Ffing fingers crossed he's not ngog pt2.

2.) 21 Feb 2017 22:16:24
The same academy that gave us Florent Sinama Pongolle and Le Tallec.

3.) 23 Feb 2017 20:40:00
Maybe but at 16yo Le Tallec was considered to be possibly the best player in Europe. The only problem was that he didn't kick on. Certainly when we got him, a lot of people thought we had done better than ManU who happened to have picked up some portuguese kid.

Cpl of things I wanted to ask Ed01 or Ed02 I know it has been covered but seen so many articles regarding Dahoud, not saying they are true by any means. All saying a Jan buy due to him been able to go cheaper in the summer. Klopp is really keen on him. Seen about 7 different articles on it. Also Ed02 have searched but can't find your podcast

Second thing I wanted to ask was regarding a player that has a carer changing injury. I presume the club would pay out the rest of their contract. I wondered about insurance. Does the club or is the player advised to insure the themselves. Not sure if it's a silly question but I have no idea. Been meaning to ask since Ings got injured again cheers.

1.) 14 Nov 2016 22:52:06
Mo Dahoud was subject of an approach by Juventus to Borussia Mönchengladbach in November 2015 where they were rebuffed in respect of a January transfer. Manchester City also has a declared interest in the player then but his poor performances have meant that interest has gone. The player was watched by Leicester, Kasımpasa, Norwich and Shakhtar Donetsk last season. Juventus and Dortmund are interested but there are no offers on the table for him at all right now but his club are aware of the interest and are keen to move him on in January.

Players at the higher-level clubs are well insured.}

2.) 15 Nov 2016 00:23:35
I don't have access to Bundsliga games so sorry Ed002 for asking this. Just wondering if you have any idea why his form has dropped?

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know Phil.}

3.) 15 Nov 2016 00:31:52
Cheers Ed02 many thanks.

11 Feb 2016 17:52:17
Have been meaning to post since I read the article. It was supposedly reported in a Turkish newspaper, and by someone involved at the club markovic is on loan at. We turned down a £20 mil offer for him, and they are saying we will not accept a £25 mil offer for him. And that we are having him watched every game. I know markovic has been done to death. I also realise he is far from happy regarding what happened to him under Rodgers. Just wondered if the eds had heard anything or is it the normal media bs

Also wanted to ask ed01 if he that's if you are a guy eds, could see klopp having quite so much work to do regarding the squad. I'm so glad we got klopp but sometimes the look on his face seems he might tear his hair out. I know a pre season would of helped him. Just seems he has a lot more work on his hands than many of us could ever imagine. Was nice seeing people back from injuries though. Cheers as always eds.

Red-Mist

{Ed001's Note - I have not heard of any offer, but we are having him watched and Klopp would like to hold on to him.}

1.) 11 Feb 2016 18:08:40
Best news of the day, ed!

2.) 11 Feb 2016 19:43:27
Really Ed? No way that's fantastic news. Like a lot here I'd love to see Markovich get a chance. Is Markovich the type of player he usually goes for Ed?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea, just know that he has received positive reports about him.}

3.) 11 Feb 2016 19:53:02
Brilliant hope he gets a chance. What do you think of Markovich Ed?

{Ed001's Note - I would like to see him given a chance in a position that suits him before I judge him fully. He showed good work ethic and some decent flashes of skill, plus pace, in his season with us, though he never really got a run to bed in and prove himself. I am hoping he will get the chance next season so we can actually have a proper look at what he has to offer.}

4.) 11 Feb 2016 20:01:22
I'd say that's what a lot of us are hoping Ed.

{Ed001's Note - fingers crossed!}

5.) 11 Feb 2016 21:55:04
We have seen what a run of games can do for a player, Firmino anyone?
Come home Marko.

6.) 12 Feb 2016 01:22:43
Agree 100%, showed pace, desire and decent flashes of skill but was also treated like he should be the finished article due to his purchase price, rather than reality which was someone to be given time to adjust and slowly absorbed into first team. Was also played out of position quite a few times which didn't help confidence.

I think he deserves a run on the wing/ wide attacking mid and perfect candidate to compete with Ibe for a spot, think Klopp could potentially turn him into a surprise package.

7.) 12 Feb 2016 06:51:19
Klopp won't pull his hair out, it cost him too much to put back in 😄.

8.) 12 Feb 2016 14:16:21
I like Lazar, I remember he came on at HT in a champions league game last season and tore it up for 5 mins then got sent off. Ridiculous decision by that ref. I think it was the Ludogorets match?
Anyway he reminds me in many ways of Paddy Berger and if he can live up to that he'll be a cracking player.

9.) 12 Feb 2016 15:54:18
I still remember that audacious volley he had that clanged off the crossbar. Came at him at a weird angle and he Ralph Maggioed it.

10.) 12 Feb 2016 19:26:22
The one against sunderland?
He also scored and had a stone wall penalty denied that match.
That boy is going to be special, not instantly but in a few years time he's going to be one hell of a player.

Seen a few reports of us in for Bacca. Also links to Roberto from olypiakos seems strange as we have all ready done a deal for a GK wondered if any eds had heard anything

Thought it was a good win today. Away from home with and after the first half was settling for a draw, could hardly watch the pen. What is good to see is winning a game when we didn't look as good, improved in the 2nd half but I thought Swansea were well organised. Karius needs time to settle, and wasn't helped with some of the defending. I think we need to improve regarding defending set pieces. But we are not going to play well every game of the season. Well done reds puts us up in 2nd place. Let's see how the others fair over the weekends football.

Red-Mist

1.) 01 Oct 2016 18:13:14
Some if the defending especially on the goal and the final Swansea chance, was rank wretched. We still need to b able to keep clean sheets or top four or even the title if possible, will elude us again. City and Tottenham and Utd are now under pressure to win hence, great result for us on this front, regardless of the score.

2.) 01 Oct 2016 21:55:13
I agree. There are no easy games in the premier league and today proved it once again! We did enough to get the win and that's all that matters.

Looking good again tonight for all those that couldn't watch the match. Karuis hasn't had much to do, he did make a great tackle outside the box though and beat his man to the ball. 3 nil up and looking very comfortable.

Hi ed's and reds

Two great games on the bounce. Thought we looked great in both

Last night two goals from people we perhaps wouldn't expect to score, Hendos goal was a peach, seriously what a quality goal. All over Chelsea in the first half, second half they put us under pressure but it was nice to see us do well and hold onto the lead

Was actually on a date with a with a girl that supports Chelsea, the reds did me proud. Feels odd watching on a Friday night still. Think they did us proud though, I was panicking after the scored though. What a great weekend so far. Bring on the next game.

Hi ed's and reds

Just wonder if anyone has seen the pic of Erik Lamela eye gouging Lovren. I know a pic captures one moment and not the full story. Looks bad though. Thought the press would say something, only seen stuff in regards to Agueros elbow

At least it's a different question away from LB ed's haha.

Red-Mist

{Ed001's Note - not seen it sorry.}

1.) 31 Aug 2016 13:49:30
Red-Mist

I saw those photos of Lamela's gouging on Lovren. They look shocking. How the FA can look at the Aguero incident and not Lamela's is hard to comprehend!

2.) 31 Aug 2016 14:10:03
Yeah I agree it really didn't look good. None of us spotted it during the game. Guess Lovren didn't make much of a fuss about it. Really thought the FA would of looked into it.

3.) 31 Aug 2016 14:11:06
I believe that any Liverpool incident through the FAs eyes, also Sly sports, also that ex ref Dermot, hardly ever works out in our favour, some might not agree with that, but I have been following football for over 50 years, mainly Liverpool, where I was born, but I am also a big football fan, and watch lots of footy in other countries too . so I think I can were there are some teams that are hit more than others, and some teams who seem to get away with a lot .

4.) 31 Aug 2016 14:47:04
The only pics i could find made it look like he was honking Lovrens nose.

5.) 31 Aug 2016 16:21:31
Unrelated, but I was in a pub in Oxford and saw Dermot Gallagher blind drunk and having to be carried out of the pub after being sick and asking the barmaid about her unfeasibly large breasts. True story. He was with Graham Poll and one of the senior management staff from Christchurch college. I asked Grahan if he could repeat his three card trick from the World Cup to which he jokingly told me to eff off and showed a red card! So if Dermot Gallaghers judgment is clouded it could just be down to ten pints.

Absolutely not wobsworth. I would take the cut, it would still be amazing wages compared to us mere mortals and work as hard as I could to get my career back on track. If he doesn't do that at a bare minimum then he is finished.

MK you can't win with the press. Change their minds daily depending on results. Look at the national team, one win and it's our time, one loss and the press make them out to be the worst on the planet. Makes me laugh reading the papers.

Ed01 when you say sickening abuse do you mean racial. I would like to think things have greatly improved in this country regarding abuse at grounds. Some leagues in other countries though as in Russia and so on are really bad from what I have heard. Disgusting tbh I know fans will always give abuse to the opposite team, but bringing race into it has no place in our so called modern world.

Red-Mist

{Ed001's Note - yes racial. Bananas, monkey chants and many more things. It was especially bad when we faced Everton, sadly. They like to call themselves the people's club, but they let down people in those days. They were vile.}
