I've got a mate who is a Hibs fan. They are horrified by Bogdan. Think he's the worst keeper they've had in decades. Their Europa campaign has already started.

We really did have a poor batch of keepers for a while.

I really think we need to replace Achterberg. All of our goalkeepers he trains seem to go backwards, Reina, Mignolet and Karius.
Also remember Karius was voted the second best goalkeeper in the bundesliga when he was at Mainz.
I know Achterberg has a UEFA Pro licence, but Lewis Hamilton has a driving licence as do I, but guess which is the best driver?

He’s got mistakes in him. I’m sure during the arsenal game I remember a wobble from him where the ball was rolling towards goal and he didn’t seem in control.

{Ed0333's Note - I think Karius has the ability to become a fantastic goalkeeper. In my opinion all he has to do is learn to try and concentrate for a full 90 minutes which is do-able. Both of his mistakes in the final are preventable with him being more alert. Can you imagine a switched on Karius what a keeper we’d have on our hands? His tears and remorse at the end of the final shows me has character and deserves another chance to make amends. We need to show Karius compassion after his monumental F*** up like we did Gerrard when he slipped up against Chelsea. If keeping Karius means we can afford to buy a Fekir or a Dembele then I’m bang up for it.
