How many teams have the flair we do when we're on top form but also the graft to grind out results like today? Fantastic goal from Coutinho, fantastic performance from everyone else.

Like the new big red buttons, don't know why but they make everything much more stylish.

I have a question about the kit deal if anyone can help. The Echo's James Pearce said something about Liverpool now having the rights to produce a leisure range "and everything that goes with it" in addition to the lump sum from the kit deal. Can anyone clarify what this means, and if we can expect a significant amount of money from it?

{Ed002's Note - It means that there will be "official" bobble hats, tee shirts and small underpants. It will not bring in significant money.}

the leisure range is what Mario was brought in for first and foremost. he enjoys football but fashion is his true passion. when the redevelopments are complete Mario will take up a role as head of fashion at lfc and will have his own office and production room which has sewing machines as far as the eyes can see.

What date are the small underpants released??

Hi Eds - with the Remy deal falling through, do you think there's any chance of Origi signing but not going out on loan next season? Or would the deal for him definitely be loan back? (IF he joins that is, I'm not convinced about anything until I see it announced now). Keep up the good work.

Not sure if anyone's posted this but I was just checking on Suso and here's a report on his performance v Valencia:

Two minutes later, Almeria refused to take the foot off the gas, with Suso pulling the strings, Corono scored the equalising goal in the 54th minute.

"The remaining 30 minutes was a Suso highlight reel, as the Liverpool loanee continued to attack the Valencia defence, forcing Vicente Guaita to make save after save and prove he’s capable of being Valencia’s keeper."

From insidespanishfootball, don't know it myself but they don't seem to have a reason to talk him up if he didn't play well.

And, more importantly, RIP and JFT 96. Today's a day when the Liverpool family is more important than ever. YNWA takes on a new meaning on this day.

Am I right in thinking that Championship clubs can still loan players? I know how hard you've been working eds so this is more a question aimed at the other LFC fans on here. It would be nice to get Wisdom and Ilori some game time. {Ed001's Note - from next week when their emergency loan window opens they can.}

If you're worried about a top in form team turning us over then maybe reserve your judgments until after the City game next week. Just a thought.

I think Manquillo's looked better than Wisdom at RB this season, and he's been a bit unlucky that he hasn't featured much since the start of the season because of the formation change - and no-one played particularly well at the start of the season.

A player's signing-on fee doesn't come out of the transfer fee we pay to their club, that wouldn't make any sense. It's always an extra expense.

It is true that free transfers generally command significant signing-on fees, but that's not money you wouldn't give to a player worth the same amount.

In fact, the administrative fees involved in free transfers are often significantly lower, mostly due to the reduced role of the agent (who negotiates with only the buying club rather than both the buying and selling clubs).

So you get 3 games for stamping and 4 for brushing someone with your hand? Unbelievable.
