Good luck to the Reds on Saturday
Anfield will be rocking, Hopefully we will turn it into the fortrace it once was. Just found out yesterday that my 6 year olds friend has a birthday party on Saturday in which I have to take him. Yeah no problem I said to the misses, what time is it on. 5pm to 7pm she said. Come on who has parties at that time. You just couldn't make this stuff up. Gutted.

Easy fix here, Rex.
1. Load him in the car, all ready for the party.
2. Take him down the pub instead.
3. Watch Liverpool take Leicester to pieces.
4. Buy him a big toy to keep him quiet.

I've got 2 boys aged 4 and 3. I started them on LFC and the Pittsburgh Steelers early. Now they want to hang with Daddy and watch the games. Juice and candy helps.

I would just like to comment on the where to play Gerrard topic. I for one don't understand why BR has hin playing the DM role as every game I watch this position seems to be the area were the most energy is required.
Everytime I see Gerrard he's making 30-40 yard runs against players who are younger and quicker than him.
In my opinion he would be better suited in his previous roles behind a striker or strikers as most defenders are slower and older anyway.
My point is I think Gerrard would have a better advantage runing at other teams back 4's then trying to keep up with other teams front 6's.

Hi guys & eds,
I don't often post much, but i'm on here at least 10 times a day. I love this site, so credit goes out to all the eds and posters who make this site what it is.
The reason for my post is that I want to do a little poll on who the fans think will have the best season between Sterling & Coutinho? I have a space for one more Liverpool player in my Fantasy Premiere League team. Sterling is 8.5mil & Coutinho is 8mil. As you probably know if you play it that every million counts.
I expect great things from both players this season but not sure who will score and assist the most.
Your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Ed I agree that Liverpool is overloaded with players but that is only because year after year we overpay and buy average players who are not good enough then we are stuck with them because most teams won't pay what we need so we can at least redeem some money. Yes we want marquee signings but I can tell you the majority of the fans did not want Benteke, Balotelli, Borini, Carrol especially at the prices we paid. We moan because no one listens to what the fans want. Its not all spend spend spend we want value for money, a player that will earn his fee and huge salary. We spend huge amounts of money buying players that go out on loan and then spend more money on replacing them with players who are no better than what we allraedy had. Its a joke, our transfer committee is useless they are the ones putting the club into debt. The right players are out there at the right price for example Deli Ali, but no he was not worth the gamble but £20 mil on Markovic was. The transfer committee should all be sacked as they have not got a clue.

BT, you answered your own question. Henderson was carrying a poor midfield, so I would start with changing the midfield and start Can and Grujic instead of Lallana and Wijnaldum or at least change one of them. our midfield was none existent. It was clear after the Arsenal game that midfield trio was never going to work. We need to play 4231 with Hederson and Can / Grujic behind Couts, Firminio and Mane at least we will some good options on the bench. I would also have Origi up top as I think Sturridge slows our game play down. Well that's my thoughts anyway.

I think Lucas is a very good squad player and a great personality to have at the club, he gets on with everyone and would be missed by all. Without him who would convince all the South American players to join?
