Hi all.
Would like to take the opportunity to wish all of you merry buggers the happiest of christmases.
And unrelated (partially) but I'd like to wish Marcus Trescothick a happy birthday, every day that passes we miss you more and more. Happy birthday.
It's been a cruel old year has 2016 but our community pulled together when people like Alan Rickman god rest his soul passed away so I'd like to thank all of you for bandying together in the tougher times over the last year.
Merry Christmas to you all redmen and I hope Santa and his children (elves I think the kids call them these days) left plenty of goodies and treats (and I hope you left a glass of milk and a couple o' uncooked carrots out for Santa's James Milner) .

Without wanting to sound disrespectful, I am sure Marcus Trescothick is on twitter. Not sure why you say you miss him.
I do agree 2016 has been horrific, yet you guys with your witty banter and occasional fall out keep spirits up.

I have just seen an absolute corker (a real howitzer (of sorts) ) of a video sent out by the boys at the English FA who those of us of a certain level of intelligence (that rules a few of you boys out hehe) know and love.
Anyway that's by the by. It featured the captain in all of our eyes Lallana and that pile of dross Henderson.
And the thing is, what it was, it was some sort of bizarre wrapping challenge in an attempt to get all those Christmas grinches in the festive spirit I suppose (though I don't know why anyone wouldn't just stick on the classic Chrimbo film, Jim Carrey's Bruce Almighty, in an attempt to get the sweet zeitgeist that we all so desire) .
Of course Master Cruyff won as he is far superior to the useless team-mate of his, and it's fair to say the Mackem was absolutely fuming at the decision to award the victory on a judges decision, though I must say he was lucky that his corner didn't throw the towel in.
I'm surprised he didn't try to pass the gift wrap either sideways or backwards or in some such similar direction.
Anyway I just thought I'd offer my two pennies worth on our lads appearing in the festive video and to take the time out from my schedule to wish the brilliant editors on this site (and the rest of you, mind) a very merry christmas and to thank them for their endeavours once again this year. A great community this is and they do a fine job of keeping it that way. I've actually got plans to spend Christmas with the mayor of my city, oooooo look at me.

Hi all, new to the site, logging in from Star City, a little town in the US. There's a lad called Oliver in the town who is a Man Utd fan and I've got a real vendetta against him due to this hehe. The boy doesn't know me yet, only by my nickname that the rest of the fellas call me (my site name) .
Anyway just wanted to chime in on the latest bits and bobs LFC related and I wasn't the happiest bunny after the game at the weekend, but we've got another clean sheet I suppose :D :D :D :D
Anyway, must go, the nightlife in Star City calls my name, nice to join the community and I hope you'll back me in my quest against this United fan Mr. Queen.

oh thanks for clearing that up zimbo, i don't know why the creep didn't just say that instead of beating round the bush, I mean why did he have to go and say that you would have thought he could have got to the point in a flash i mean holy harry potter what's the big deal what's the hold up, anyway back to my point about him not beating around the bush, his post is ridiculous and long winded in fact i've never seen such a long winded post in my history (which is a fairly long vengeful one especially over the last five years where i went away and did some soul searching) but thanks for clearing it up anyway zimbo, someone had to.
