Brendan Rodgers is the best man manager in the league.
He turned Luis Suarez into the best striker in the world. Totally turned around Daniel Sturridge's career, making him one of the best forwards in the league. Developed Raheem Sterling through a rough patch into the best teenage player in the world.
Who's to say that Brendan can't work his magic with Balotelli?

Reports today that Atletico are looking to sign Schurrle. I'd love us to sign him. He's pretty ruthless up front, young, prem experienced and can also play anywhere across a forward line. He would cover for Bony and Konoplyanka.
Any thoughts?

Can really see us spending, or at least trying to spend a large amount of money this window. If we don't get the top 4 this season, then Suarez could go (due to the alleged terms of his contract) and other teams will strengthen too much for us to stay in the picture.
I'm sure that JWH and BR recognise the importance of this. His coming to Liverpool this weekend could hopefully mean talks concerning the signing of top players.
