Seen a lot of posts about the 3rd watford goal being offside, if you look closely ricarlsons effort actually went sideways/ backwards so therefor brittos can't of been offside. (i think) . Am i right ed?
{Ed001's Note - correct. I think the previous one was the one that was offside the moment Okaka attempts to get on the end of the cross, as I don't think he got back onside at any point. Certainly the 3rd goal was perfectly fine as the shot was sliced and the ball did not travel forward.}

That's what I thought too. They also had a player stand on Mignolet for the first goal too but again the ball went backwards so fair goal.
The tv crew tried to show on the second goal that the lad putting in the cross was kept onside by TAA but failed to point out Okakka was offside as the ball was passed to him.

Their second goal should NEVER have stood. Okaka was offside before the cross came in so the defence did it's job after Hendo and Can hung them out to dry on the wing. As soon as he touches the ball on the cross, he should have been flagged for offside as he NEVDER got back onside. We got robbed on that play, hands down.

It was a good ball in but only 4 yards out.
A Cech or Curtois or any top keeper would have been ready to claim that. He's 6 foot 4, 28 or 29 years old so is a senior player - dominate your 6 yard box for goodness sake.
I played in goal as a teenager at times and always came for balls into the 6 yard box.
I was only 5ft 10 and punched if I couldn't catch, your defence appreciates the help.

It isn't nickpicking lol its a fact of the offside rule?
And on gomes being sent off, the rule was changed, if you make a genuine attempt to win the ball which he did he cannot be sent off once a penalty is given.

Also ed, second watford goal, okaka on the first pass is offside but he plays no role, once the cross/ pass comes in for the right he is behind the ball so i don't see how he is offside?

Richie didn't make contact. Massive difference. Some of the stuff you Liverpool fans is so delusional it makes me think your not right in the head. Ritchie's was dangerous hence the yellow card, mane's was dangerous and serious foul play. Definite red.
And all this about how he had to go for the ball, yes he did but with his head, high foot on football is not allowed.
