I'm no super agent but I've read an awful lot of articles and tried to read between the lines.
VVD - Will be a Liverpool player by 11.01pm Thursday, Soton are simply waiting until the last minute so when they say "yeah, he's yours for £80m" Liverpool panic and just agree as there is no negotiation time.
VVD nor his Agent are acting out like most do, Soton have signed a replacement and Liverpool are not pursuing any other CB Targets. I would say that's deal done.
Lemar will also be a Liverpool player considering Monaco have just signed Balde, are trying to get Turan and hold an interest in Origi. It's been noted that Lemar wants the move openly enough for Deschampes to make a u-turn and allow medicals to take place at Frances training camp.
Renato Sanchez will only come in if we sell Coutinho.
Oxlade-Chamberlain would prefer the move to Liverpool.

VVD doesn't move
Lamar doesn't move
Coutinho stays and Sanchez comes on loan
Ox goes to Chelsea

We'll get VVD and Lemar
Origi will go on loan or be sold to Monaco, Pipco will go to Barca, we have no interest in Renato or Ox unless perhaps Lemar falls through and then we might go back in for Ox
Our midfield would then be Hendo, Can, Gini, Milner, Grujic, Lemar, Lallana, with Keita joining next year. Why on earth would we need Renato as well?

He would prefer the Liverpool move but Liverpool have been told that Arsenal won't sell to us. Worth a shot with a £40m bid though surely. Can play multi positions, quick, good feet. Raw but Klopp moulds players as much as anyone else in the game.
