Don't usually post stuff that I find out but reading on here I'll share. My understanding is talks are still ongoing with Lyon nothing is close. However Liverpool are pushing for it also macca was right butland was house shopping but klopp felt he needs more experience in the sticks. So has changed his mind and his trying for Alison if Alison falls through my understanding is Jasper cillisen is second choice ( I know experience thing) just what I've been told from someone within the club. Don't shoot me over it haha also may I add this person who has told me has always been spot on with info thanks.

More I read about Diouf, the more I realise that he's a very strange bloke. (Well either that or half the stuff about him is made up)
On one hand you have a player who worked his nuts off on the pitch and always showed for the ball, but then aside from never actually doing anything useful with the ball ever, he reportedly didn't really care if his team had won or lost once he stepped off the pitch.
Likewise, people at Bolton and Leeds apparently talk about a guy who's hand would be among the first in air if players were needed for a charity event, but he spat at least three people whilst playing, and his latter days tended not to bother in games unless they were important. And God help you if you ever tried to talk to him about his behaviour.
El-Hadji carries a lot of baggage, me thinks.

Two added things that make me despise him. He once gave me a ton of abuse when I had to get a steward to move him out of my reserved train seat from London to Manchester (after a game for Leeds against Millwall) and he drove a polished chrome plated car (mercedes I recall, numberplate D10UFY) around whilst playing at Bolton, I mean who chrome plates a car?

To all the eds I'd like to thank you for your hard work and dedication. Also putting up with all the snowflakes and assholes not just on this site but across the board. Also you can breath a sigh of relief that the window is now shut for incomings. So you don't have to copy and paste the RTP which I can imagine gets incredibly boring anyway thanks again till January ladies and gents.

Happy birthday ed mate sorry it's late haven't posted for a while work has consumed me. I was wondering if ed002 had time he could come up with a list of the best run clubs in his opinion. I see posts on what clubs create revenue who's in debt ect ect I just thought if he has time it might be a nice read. I value his opinion a lot so would be interested in seeing which clubs in his opinion in terms of revenue and debt management is the best thanks eds love you drfinetly in an affectionate way. Haha.

If I was to think outside of the usual names, I'd say Athletic Bilbao. From what I remember they have an interesting transfer policy about only signing players from the Basque region Spain, so whenever they sell, they sell big. And if memory serves me correctly, I remmeber a couple of the Eds mentioning that they don't have a need for money.

Hi eds just thought I'd ask a serious question why is it that ed002 gets so much rubbish what is it that he actually does too merit this. Ed25, it was a good question, and 1 that I had been wondering about myself, I seldom post but have followed the site for a long time, it is pretty obvious that Ed02 is well connected, Knowledgeable, highly intelligent, and under valued by some posters on this site, for the majority I think they would agree that you are all highly respected and appreciated for all you do and for the wealth of information that you offer.

I just feel as ed002 is not just a decent person but an asset too the community on here. Agree 100% Mr Brooks. I've been following this site since the Hodgson era (I think) and even though I can't claim to know him personally Ed2 is probably the most knowledgeable person I 'know'. He talks straight and doesn't sugar coat which is what the millenials and post-millennials need to deal with without getting their keyboards out. His music taste is also ace.
People won't like this but this is why we should have to pay a fee (subscription fee or nominal fee etc) for his info. We'd soon weed out the trolls.
And if you're in the business of giving the Eds hassle please leave this site and go back to caught offside or another fake news site.
