Totally agree. I don't understand this thing of judging a player before he's even put on the shirt. Every transfer has an element of risk to it but they have a better chance of success if the player doesn't have the fans questioning him the minute he arrives. Surely we should start by trusting the managers instinct and take it from there?

You're absolutely correct, MK Scouse. There's no point keeping somebody that doesn't want to be there.
It also frustrates me when players use lack of Champions League as a reason, as I they had no impact on the failure to qualify. If the whole team, including Coutinho, had been more consistent, we'd have got fourth place at least.
Be sorry to see him go but if they've not bought in to the project then wish them well and move on. The club will always be bigger than any one individual.
