Hey All,

Anyone else more nervous for that 90 mins that any other this season!?

Just read we have scored twice as many pens (4) this season than last. Milner is becoming more and more pivotal as the season progresses.

I know there are a few Statto's here, so just wondering how many penalties did we have and who were the takers?

Onwards and upwards lads!

Matt.

similar to the 13/ 14 season, we are getting more penalties because we are in the box a lot more i feel.

sorry can't help you with stats though.

Benteke against palace away I recall that one.

Hi All,

Has anyone seen the quotes from Klopp on his summer plans.

He is effectively saying players that are only interested in joining for Champions League aren't right for us. It is refreshing to have someone in charge with so much confidence. Also comments on the future of the younger players, it can only instil confidence!

Cheers,
Matt.

Players like to use our club as a stepping stone to China.

2.) 13 Feb 2016 23:11:24
Prob because we will be in the Europa mate. Last thing we need are a few Kyle laffertys. Apparently he's only coming round to the conclusion that he's not up against messi and Neymar in the euros this summer.

3.) 14 Feb 2016 13:51:56
I guess that's because it will be one hell of a task for us to get back into the CL again. This season we will probably not make the EL either. Liverpool has been slowly going backwards for a number of years now, and as Klopp has said on a number of occasions, he is not a magician.

So it will be interesting to see what he can do in the summer window - if anything.

Hi Eds,
..............

{Ed002's Note - Sorry Matt, that is not what we are about.}

Won't mention again.

Matt.

Hi Ed001,

Just wanted your take on Simon Mignolet and whether you have seen improvement in him.

You've acknowledged improvements in Skrtel, but wanted to know your opinion on Migs.

I thought his positioning today for the Aguero goal was poor, but feel he has shown real progress under Klopp.

Thanks in advance,
Matt.

{Ed001's Note - he has defo looked better, could have done better with another save, and I still get nervous when the ball is at his feet, but he looks much more solid. His confidence has gone up massively this season and it is showing in his performances.}

1.) 21 Nov 2015 20:36:21
Cheers for the reply Ed. I think it's set up nicely for Ward to return in the summer and create some healthy competition!

Have a great weekend.
Matt.

2.) 21 Nov 2015 20:44:14
You don't know what you are talking about. No keeper on the planet would have saved that goal, and even Klopp said in his interview that Mignolet had no chance with it. Seems you are just jumping on the bandwagon of having a go at him for no apparent reason.

3.) 21 Nov 2015 20:57:18
If one had to over critical, he could have been a little further off his line, but that is being a little mean on my part. Great team effort, excellent result and I'm going to bed a happy camper!

4.) 21 Nov 2015 21:00:52
If you re-read the post, I am acknowledging the improvements in Migs game. Watch the goal again - he had Lovren and Skrtel covering his right hand side. He shuffled to his right and made it relatively simple for Aguero to slot it home.

5.) 21 Nov 2015 21:13:14
Well said Edoo1.

6.) 21 Nov 2015 21:50:29
"Relatively simple for Aguero to slot it home"
😄

If you say so.

7.) 21 Nov 2015 22:02:45
He was doing what he should have been doing and tracking he line of play, the only problem was he didn't track across to the middle quick enough and so was slightly to the right of where he should have been but even with a step or two to left and forward he wouldn't have reached the shot, it was right into the far corner.

8.) 21 Nov 2015 23:14:10
Spot on Matt, it was impossible for augero to put the ball to mingolets right, anyone in any doubt just watch it again, mingolet could have went to his left and give himself every chance of getting to it.

Not entirely Liverpool related, but what other youngsters are deemed the next "wonderkid"

We have some promising youths coming through, provided they are utilised correctly.

What others player are the ones to look for?

Thanks in advance.
Matt

That Danish kid at Madrid. The one we could have signed, supports LFC. Can't think of his name? 16yr old. Already played first team for RM.

Zappacosta
Ojo

There is a kid at Newcastle, Campbell I think. Next Shearer so he was labelled.

What about Enzo Fernandez? He'll hope he's half as good as daddy.

{Ed007's Note - Martin Odegaard.}

2.) 10 Jul 2015 23:31:21
Reuben loftus cheek,partick bamford,bertrand traore,christian atsu from chelsea,
Cameron vicker Spurs,
Jonathan tah Hamburger
Matthew Targett Southampton
Rony lopes Man city
Leroy sane schalke
Shyi ojo/jordan rossitter Liverpool
Sinan Kurt Bayern Munich

Just some players who I think over the last1/2 years I've read about online being a talent,but it's hit and miss as to how much I;ve seen of them play. some I haven't seen at all.There will be plenty more (Next) ''Insert'' messi ronaldo gerrard iniesta that I have forgotten about.

{Ed007's Note - Jason Denayer at Man City deserves a mention.}

3.) 11 Jul 2015 00:25:34
My son. My wife is 7 months pregnant, and i got a hunch he will be the Australian Messi. But seriously, i'm hoping Mr Ibe comes on strong so in a year or two, we can all laugh how much we got for Sterling, and laughing even harder that Delph is keeping him out of City's team.

4.) 11 Jul 2015 07:48:59
Southanptos young right back, big lad watched him twice at Swindon last year, forgot his name, but impressed me a lot.

Sorry Ed, think you meant Brian Laws, ex-Scunny manager.

Matt LFC

{Ed001's Note - he has managed Scunny 3 times and Burnley, Shamrock Rovers, Grimsby Town and someone else I think.}

For god's sake WHY, WHY do we keep missing out on signing Honda!? and also why did none of the Eds even tells us about this prior to it happening!?

Matt LFC

{Ed001's Note - I was surprised he is only 33, feels like he has been around for about 30 years!}

Hi Ed,

Any views on Lucas joining them, given their fan base?

Matt.

Matt LFC

{Ed001's Note - I doubt he would have been aware of it, nor should it have stopped him as a foreigner the large fascist element will not have been keen on him joining.}
