To be honest we've had difficulty with a lot of so-called small teams for a while (except last year) so it's not saying much but Swansea, West Brom, and Stoke going down last year is really a positive.

The bogie ground (really hadn't been since Pulis left though) had been the cold rainy night in Stoke saying (have a new saying too? ) . Wondering what people's opinions are what could be that new team? That team most teams, especially the top 6, hate going to? And no, Anfield or the Etihad do not count! I think a popular opinion could be Wolves but I think Burnley and Crystal Palace could be there.

Personally, I would love to go to St. James' Park and win this year. They yo-yoed between leagues and whether its Andy Carrol, Wijnaldum scoring against us or draws like the year we almost won the league (2013-14), we just can't win there! Hopefully some small teams can step up thought just not against us.

I'd agree with that.

I don't know whether it's intentional (it probably is), but away fans at St. James Park are tucked away miles away from the pitch. That must be a contributing factor.

I'm sure it must be intentional but I think it would be difficult to put away fans anywhere along the lower deck seating. Barcelona also does it.

Some of the strangest away seating I saw were at Wolves against Everton. Everton fans were at pitch level and stretched the entire length of the pitch on one side with the Wovles fans above them. Not sure if Molineux had that 6 years ago but was strange to see.

Okay, read this site for a while but wanted to make a post just based on the the mayhem of the last few days. This is mostly because I saw some fairly strange people abusing Melissa Reddy on the wording of her posts and telling he that she shouldn't get their hopes up like that! Quite sad to be honest.

But overall, I see the terms 'embarrassing', 'ridiculous', and other things being thrown about and I just find it quite mad. If what I'm reading is true on the fact we pulled out after the medical then I really don't see anything wrong with that. Why sign a player who we have concerns about. In the end, we didn't think the money was equal to the risk and we ended negotiations. From either Lyon or Liverpool's side of things that is completely OKAY! People are putting too much emotion into something that really is not that important. Take a breather and relax. FSG, Michael Edwards, Melissa Reddy, or Fekir are not living their lives just to ruin your day. Stop acting like a spoiled brat and get off social media for a bit! Just wanted to say what I thought. social media is full of many loud people who are unfortunately heard the most. Just my thoughts! Why spend a lot of money on something you think might be broken (slightly extreme), I wouldn't with my money!

Well said. Empty tins always make the most noise.

You've got to remember with situations like this that the people throwing their weight around because we didn't sign a player are the same ones that would be tearing into everyone ever connected to the club in any way if we signed him and at any point in the next 5 years he had to spent 6 months out in surgury. Their opinions are really just reactions to the most recent things to happen because they have no ability to remember things, build a mental timeline etc.
