I know this is outrageous but bidding for reus and him playing for us will surely add the icing to the cake and give us a nice headstart

I'm sure everyone would love reus to sign for Liverpool. But then everyone would also love messi to sign for Liverpool. Not happening bud 😢

2.) 14 Jul 2015 16:52:57
And where would he play and who would we sell, bench or loan out to accomodate him?

3.) 14 Jul 2015 17:11:07
Where would he play hahaha? Wherever he bloody wants!

4.) 14 Jul 2015 17:15:08
Where would he play? Anywhere he wants.

5.) 14 Jul 2015 18:07:09
Even if he had like 50 players for each position I'd still want reus. Class act. He's one of those players who you go for irrespective of whether you need them or not. One can dream. Imagine coutinho firmino reus behind sturridge

Hi eds, who among Hernanes, Illaramendi and Cheryshev would you consider to be a more realistic target for us ?

Koper8

{Ed002's Note - Measured how? I have explained the situation with all of these players - try the search function.}

1.) 28 Jun 2015 18:44:03
Kovacic and Illaramendi would be excellent.

25 Jun 2015 15:32:13
Hello Eds, have city lodged a third bid for sterling or is it going to be lodged?

Koper8

{Ed002's Note - I understand, albeit from an unrelated agent, that a final bid is expected.}

1.) 25 Jun 2015 15:53:44
Thanks for the info eds!

2.) 25 Jun 2015 16:47:37
And we better take the money and jet because they won`t be back if we reject them again

Hey Eds, respect to your awesome work.
May I ask, why is liverpool interested(as alleged by the papers) more in midfielders than in forwards who can cope with our pacy, attacking play?
Are these midfielders genuinely under interest from Liverpool or are they just paper bluffs?
Because I feel strikers are the immediate need.

Koper8

{Ed002's Note - Liverpool has already purchased a forward and I have explained where there is interest - I am not really sure what you are referring to.}

1.) 13 Jun 2015 19:00:20
We are surely in for another more established striker though, right?

2.) 13 Jun 2015 19:24:03
we have lots of strikers on our books that we need to sell before we even think of buying one.

3.) 13 Jun 2015 22:45:24
Aspas is gone already and am sure Lambert and borini are next on queue. U guys should be patient and see how things shape come ending of July. Be pessimistic

4.) 14 Jun 2015 02:54:18
Yeah, lots of strikers who can't get a game nor score ten goals between all five of them. Some strike force, eh?

5.) 14 Jun 2015 05:25:33
Dwarfonaboat, we are already bringing in two strikers already, Origi and Ings, to go along with the other 5 we have already got, I find it hard to believe another will be brought in unless at least three of them are moved on, excluding Aspas who has already gone.

More notably, the 3 most expensive African player signings with Keita the only probable challenger.

Imo, even if we ended up buying VVD
@60+m, it would have put him under increased pressure to perform immediately.

Gutted but I believe our defence will be sorted out by Kloppo in this window.

Walk on. with hope in your heart.

It's really sad that our fans, known to support the club even in the worst times, are criticizing a player before he was even clicked signing a deal. It's only a loan guys, we can send him back if he eventually ends up "not useful". Meanwhile let's back this lad to do good while he is here.

The pressure will be on him even before he steps onto the turf as a red.
Pogba for one was extensively scrutinized for not justifying his fee last year.
It is upto VVD to gear up for this pressure and deliver calmy (Lovren who took the same route is still not the defender he was at Southampton)

The transfer saga he is involved in doesn't help his case. like us pouncing onto every opportunity to mock Sterling after his departure, Saints aren't going to let him go easy. then, its only our support as home fans that's going to get him where we want him to reach.

Robertson impressed on debut but so did Moreno.
I wouldn't jump the gun and conclude "LB problem solved"yet.

From recent windows:Ballotelli for one; Klavan to some extent and Benteke simply because I couldn't see how the team with the lowest crosses can feed a striker who thrives on them.

Well at least here in India, the premier league has a massive fan following. Majority of the matches are held at the peak hours (8.30pm) .
All the major cities have a good number of sports bars around. My city has a one dedicated for Liverpool FC fans. and there is a group on Facebook for the same.
