Papers say Juventus would consider giving us Pjaca if we sold them Can in the January Window, any truth to this and any particular reason we would want Pjaca?

Kirbydinsmore

{Ed002's Note - I am sure Juve would be more thappy to give him to Liverpool to compensate for January move. Is he back from his ACL injury yet?}

1.) 28 Dec 2017 22:00:28
We don't need a striker.

2.) 28 Dec 2017 23:09:15
We’ll swap them for Dybala.

3.) 29 Dec 2017 04:36:15
The same Pjaca who is injured and cannot get a game at Juve when fit? Sounds like Juve are looking for a place to dump Pjaca ASAP and they think we would be stupid to consider their offer.

Is Golovin from Moscow an option as a Fekir alternative? I looked him up in the search bar nothing came up but he seems like the perfect cheap alternative.

1.) 10 Jun 2018 00:53:20
There isn’t one Russian player worth buying. Probably one of the worst group of players Russia have ever priduced.

09 Jun 2018 19:23:01
Hakim Ziyech or Thomas Lemar should be high on the list of Fekir alternatives.

Kirbydinsmore

1.) 09 Jun 2018 19:33:10
Pretty sure that Ziyech is signing for Napoli.

2.) 09 Jun 2018 19:43:11
Ziyech has some serious baggage with him.

3.) 09 Jun 2018 19:43:40
Lemar is pretty nailed on for Atletico Madrid.

4.) 09 Jun 2018 19:42:39
Lemar will cost you £100 mill!

{Ed002's Note - You buddy the fat kid from Bolton said Lemar was already a done deal?}

27 May 2018 15:33:30
Will Salahs shoulder have any impact on if he is sold this summer?

Kirbydinsmore

{Ed002's Note - With Dr Klopp saying what a serious injury it is? No.}

1.) 27 May 2018 16:20:53
Bit harsh on Klopp Ed002. It was a reaction to a disappointing result.

{Ed002's Note - He really is a joke if he blurts out nonsense about player injuries becaus of the result of a football game.}

2.) 27 May 2018 18:33:52
An then you wonder why your abused on here ed when you come out with rubbish like that. Ban me if you want you usually do when people say something against you.

{Ed002's Note - So you think it is OK to abuse me for telling you the truth? Klopp blurted out absolute rubbish about an injury.}

3.) 27 May 2018 18:42:07
I don't think having an opinion like that warrants "an you wonder why you get abused. " Take it easy haha.

4.) 27 May 2018 19:26:20
i like it when ed tells truth
why we all come here.

5.) 27 May 2018 21:54:27
Ed02 in Klopp negativity shocker.

{Ed002's Note - So did Klopp not make a completely ill-informed false statement? Or did Klopp tell the truth?}

23 May 2018 02:45:29
had a question about image rights. I read certain teams have certain percentages that they take from players and that Liverpool have been relative to other clubs more generous to the player, based on how I understand it that is.

Is this part of the lure of getting new players to come like Salah or even Naby Keita with his Nk8 thing? Or is it not really a significant factor.

Kirbydinsmore

{Ed002's Note - no. It is of no significance.

Sorry if this has been covered I used the search bar and couldn't find any punditry but how exactly is TAA going to get any time in the midfield with Keita and possibly another midfielder arriving?

Kirbydinsmore

1.) 08 May 2018 21:56:00
He is not suddenly going to become a regular, as you have seen the tail end of this season majority of players have looked exhausted!

He will also support the RB role as well as he is just learning and maturing.

2.) 08 May 2018 22:00:37
There's been talk of Lallana leaving the club and there's also the Ox's injury to consider. That leaves us with Wijnaldum, Milner, Henderson, Keita and possibly another midfielder (who is likely to play further forwards) . With Liverpool potentially competing across four competitions I'm sure he'll get time. I suspect he'll also continue to cover right back as well. Had Liverpool not gotten knocked out of the EFL cup so early this year maybe he would have had more gametime in the midfield.

3.) 08 May 2018 22:09:21
TAA will cover RB and CM next year, imo. The eds have said we're prioritising a new RB who will presumably be first choice, and although Keita + one or two more midfielders are coming in, Lallana might look to leave, Can is pretty much gone, Milner might look to leave and we never actually replaced Coutinho. He'll probably get less gametime which might not be too bad a thing considering the constant media spotlight and how young players probably need some protection from the fans' overhyping after a good game and abuse after a bad one but he should get enough. Gomez is quite injury prone and he'll also be covering CB whilst a few injuries this season have already left us light in midfield, so TAA will definitely get gametime in both positions.

4.) 09 May 2018 00:16:19
Here we go again. Why would Lallana or Milner leave? Or is it wishful thinking? You’ll regret it when they are gone.

{Ed001's Note - Lallana is keen on a move.}

5.) 09 May 2018 05:18:17
Lallana will not stay to be a squad player. The team has moved on from him and at 30, he will want to be playing regularly. Not to mention 110k a week for a squad injury prone player is just wasting the club's valuable resources. A youngster like Chirivella or Woodburn would benefit more from the exposure than keeping expensive backups like Lallana. His wages can be used to give the likes of Salah and Mane wage hikes.

6.) 09 May 2018 05:47:18
Lallana has been injured this entire season more or less, he is keen on a move away, he does not really fit into the teams style due to the slowness of his play, he is on a large wage, and he is 30 years old. Why would we regret him leaving?

As for Milner? He should be a squad player, but no more. I suspect he would not be happy with that role. He is also another on a huge salary. I don't think it would be the disaster you make it out if they left. Recruitment will be key - if we recruit well, and wisely, as we have been doing recently, we will be fine.

7.) 09 May 2018 06:31:30
Lallana without injuries would have played a lot this season and I have little doubt he would have been great, he's almost perfectly suited for Klopp football.

However with his injuries and his age we're looking to the future and Lallana can't be first choice going forward. If someone wants him and he wants to go he can leave with our thanks.

8.) 09 May 2018 11:43:14
Genuinely don't get players who want to move on to play regular football as they don't want to be just squad players. If you want to be successful it will take a squad effort over a long gruelling season to achieve this. If you're playing week in week out you will be dead on your feet with ten games to go hence win nothing?

9.) 09 May 2018 12:01:04
verdo1 - not everyone is in it for the trophies or the money. Plenty of footballers (granted not as many as there used to be, but still plenty) are in it because they love playing football. They love every minute they spend on the field and would rather play 3000 minutes and win nothing then 1000 minutes and sit at home looking at a medal. It just depends on the person. It also depends on how they feel about smaller contributions - it's easy to say it's a squad game and everyone contributes so they should be happy with smaller roles, but do you really think Coutinho's La Liga medal from this season which was already won by the time he signed is worth as much to him as a PL medal last year would have been? Of course not, because he'll always know that although he had a part in earning it, realistically he didn't earn it.

10.) 09 May 2018 12:31:54
Happy to stand corrected about Lallana (thanks Ed) but I’d still be sorry to see him go.
Milner might be in a high salary but there was no fee for him. That seems to be forgotten. The salary reflects that. Personally I think he’s always been good value, lately in particular.

11.) 09 May 2018 13:06:53
I understand what you're saying hjikle. Cheers.

Rumors in the papers have said that Klopp met with him last summer and reached a verbal agreement. If that's true I don't know how that isn't tampering so let's hope they lying.

When the only thing good you can say about a player is "he is working really hard" he isn't good.

Name one specific facet of ox's game that has gotten better?

The delusion is much worse than I thought and it's not just Twitter I see.

You all talk of hard work like it means anything. Dejan Lovern works hard, don't see you defending him.

Everyone is so impressed with Ox, tell me if he had 4 goals and 4 assists on the year would everyone think he is Iniesta reincarnated? Give me a break guys.
