Thoughts on the Dybala rumour?

Side note, anyone seen his new hairstyle? 🤣.

1.) 06 Jul 2018 02:25:47
Probably about as likely as me signing mate.

2.) 06 Jul 2018 02:34:02
Juventus have to pay for Ronaldo somehow. They are a very financially prudent club.

Selling Dybala will bring in the money not only to buy Ronaldo but for his gargantuan salary as well.

Dybala apparently wants to leave Juventus.

Klopp likes Dybala.

And to complete the picture, we appear to have pulled out of the Fakir move.

All very interesting, I must say.

3.) 06 Jul 2018 03:27:00
Probly cheaper then asensio. maybe €100m rather than €150 but never in a million years is that happening. would jizz my jocks if it was true tho.

4.) 06 Jul 2018 04:26:11
Curious what info Ed's might have on that one, aside from theatrics, his ability to interchange in front 3 could be great, got nose for the goal, playing in narrow front 3 could spike his goal tally like it did for Salah.

Firmino could have a "new hair off" with Dybala on weekly basis.

5.) 06 Jul 2018 06:38:06
If Dybala comes then most probably we will have a change in the system to fit all 4 because he ain't coming for the bench. Maybe a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-2 with Firmino, Dybala up front and Mane, Salah wide. It will be interesting to see what happens in the midfield in that case having Milner, Ox, Lallana, Hendo, Gini, Fabinho and Keita fighting for 2 spots. I will expect at least 2 sales in that case.

6.) 06 Jul 2018 07:07:39
There’s basically no difference between a 433 and a 4231 to be honest. Dybala could comfortably play the 10 role we planned for Fekir and is a much better player.

Sadly I don’t think this would ever be a possibility but I would be delighted if it was.

7.) 06 Jul 2018 07:35:33
Apparently he’s been offered to Madrid - Think Ed001 mentioned this.

8.) 06 Jul 2018 07:50:41
My dream signing. Although its all rubbish.

9.) 06 Jul 2018 09:28:30
Wel said Bob’s.

10.) 06 Jul 2018 11:06:13
we would he fit in the system? who would you drop to play him?
bobby and Dybala won't just be having hair off, they'd be having a starting spot off also.

11.) 06 Jul 2018 11:29:41
AK, dybala can play any of for the four attackin positions. As I said above, he would take he 10 role we had ear marked for Fekir so one of our midfield 3 would miss out, not the front 3.

{Ed002's Note - Dybala?}

12.) 06 Jul 2018 11:55:38
Maybe we would switch to a 343. Bobby operating just behind front 3.

Hey Eds, Im reading that RB Leipzig are in trouble with FFP and that we may get Nobby in Jan? Any truth?

{Ed001's Note - considering it is done over a 3 year period and they would have known exactly what their situation was for the season in the summer, it is clearly false. The only reason there is a chance for us to get him in January is because he is desperate to leave. The lad is unhappy there as the fans got on his back and it has affected his form.}

1.) 11 Jan 2018 08:15:57
It would be great if he came now. He would fill a big hole in the squad.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 08:13:13
I read that his team mates are also getting at him too, now. If that's true, and he's affecting camp morale, I'm sure a deal could be struck for this month. He seems to have a lot of baggage though, Keita. Red cards, fall outs, trying to force moves, accusations he's downed tools etc. Hopefully when he puts on a red shirt he gets it all together because he's looked fantastic at times and is still only 22, i think.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair to the lad, he was trying too hard, hence the red cards which were all reckless overeagerness, to prove he did care, after a summer of stick from fans of RBL. They do seem to have attracted the worst elements of German fandom there, but then no true football fan would follow them as they are the antithesis of what German football is about. He needs to leave for his own sake, it doesn't matter what he says or does, the fans had turned on him and now it is just a miserable time. No one plays at their best when they are unhappy mentally.}

3.) 11 Jan 2018 08:14:13
Do you think its worth us paying another huge chunk of money ed to get him early for just a dozen or so games? Seems exesive to me.

{Ed001's Note - yes, the lad needs rescuing from a horrible situation at a club that shouldn't be allowed to exist.}

4.) 11 Jan 2018 08:28:27
If he's unhappy I hoepfully we get him now, and hopefully he can rediscover his best form here - the longer he stays in a rut the harder it is to get out! I hope he's not too eager to prove himself here and ends up flying Into tackles.

5.) 11 Jan 2018 09:03:12
The blue-noses of Germany.

6.) 11 Jan 2018 09:12:57
Sorry for the ignorance but why shouldn't they be allowed to exist? Is it something Red Bull have done?

{Ed001's Note - because they are against all the rules of fan ownership that exist in Germany. They are purely a marketing tool of RB, not a genuine football club. They are the one club in Germany that is hated more than Bayern Munich. Usually you either support Bayern or hate them, but everyone hates RBL.}

7.) 11 Jan 2018 09:17:05
That’s a bit harsh Bootle! I hope we bring him in early, it’s not a good situation for anyone to drag it out and we could with him adding some threat from midfield.

If late Gini seems to have lost his ability to get forward and Milner seems everywhere but unable to hit a shot on target and Hendo is injured. Can, Keita and Lallana looks a really good balance of a midfield 3 to me.

8.) 11 Jan 2018 09:25:54
They're more like the MK Dons of German football to be honest!

9.) 11 Jan 2018 09:55:46
Getting a player early is not just "getting him to play a dozen games". It's getting him prepared better, knowing his teammates, understanding tactics and so on. Much better getting him in now, than in the summer, especially with the world cup taking a month.

10.) 11 Jan 2018 10:17:32
If that's the case with Naby Ed001, then he needs to do something drastic to make the move happen now. Going on strike, giving RBL an ultimatum to sell him etc. Whatever it takes. Its what players do anyways nowadays isn't it?
Naby should enforce the move if he is so desperate to join now. Sulking won't do the trick, giving RBL no choice but to sell will.

{Ed001's Note - I would prefer he didn't do that personally.}

11.) 11 Jan 2018 10:32:31
I wouldn't like that either but if your are desperate, that's how its done in football these days. It stinks but its reality.

12.) 11 Jan 2018 11:11:14
From the point of protecting him and the investment the club has made in him coming in the summer it would be worth taking him out of a toxic environment as soon as possible.

13.) 11 Jan 2018 11:01:28
Do we, as a club, understand the need to save him from that situation or is it not likely Ed?

{Ed001's Note - RBL do not want to do any deal.}

14.) 11 Jan 2018 11:37:11
That's a great shame for the player then really. Hopefully his confidence won't be too shot when he joins us in the summer.

15.) 11 Jan 2018 12:44:05
Is it possible to just throw a team out of the leagues? because if so that is surely coming for them one day.

16.) 11 Jan 2018 14:31:11
FSG won't spend big money on a player over 27 I doubt. That rules a few out.

17.) 11 Jan 2018 22:48:51
it’s a shame RBL won’t do any deal, like the thread above this one saying they’ll take 10mil extra for him. Could never see them accepting that but maybe now i’ve read this thread it would be wise for them to do. If nabby keeps getting shot down more by the 'fans' and his team mates and affecting squad moral, they could start performing a lot worse and lose more than that 10mil dropping places in the league.
Kinda wish I read this one before replying to the one above 😂.

What is preventing him from getting a work permit? Previous criminal history?

{Ed001's Note - lack of international appearances, lack of citizenship of a European nation etc.}

Karius has not improved! He was solid during last season but rarely made 'big' saves when needed. The reason he looked a better option than Mignolet was because he was less tentative under the high ball/ corners and our defense gave away fewer good chances.

Ward for me has looked our best shot stopper. Just not sure about his distribution and communication.

- I'm Karius to know, how'd you get so much Lovern into that Ox tail soup, TAA in advance.
- You take some salt and Robertson, until it feels firmino hands.
- Fekir Mane, I'm Keita-ing for the wife's family and this fabinho tip is going to Wijnaldum over!

I read the club had set their price for Studge at £15 mil. Thinking some club's would see him as a bargain at that price in the current market.

I believe he was the most fouled player in the premier league last season. Must be doing something right.

{Ed001's Note - but what he is doing right could have been diving or he could just be dawdling on the ball.}
