Estadio Deportivo are reporting that Moreno is due to fly in today to complete his move to LFC with the clubs agreeing a fee of 20 million euros plus add ons. In another Seville based newspaper call El Correo De Andalucia they are reporting that Moreno has his bags packed for Liverpool. Bearing in mind that these papers have close links to Sevilla FC (eg, The Echo with LFC) it looks like a done deal.

Just want to wish Luisto all the best at Barca. He may have had his lunacy moments but no one can argue he left anything on the pitch. His problem is he wanted to win too much which is better than not caring. Let's look forward and get behind the manager and players for the season ahead. YNWA

Having watched Markovic a few times he is very much an out n out winger, Quick, direct, tricky but his final pass, cross or shot is not quite there. With that in mind do you think BR will be looking at bringing someone to play through the middle more as a closer replacement for Suarez or will that be that in regards to attackers (origi aside).

We will know that the Suarez deal is done when we spend a truckload of cash on a few players. The club will not want to announce the deal before they have spent the cash due inflated transfer fees for players of other clubs. The club will not want another Carroll situation. This is a chance for the club to invest heavily on the back of the transfer of one player. Surely the club have learnt from previous mistakes.?

The Suarez apology means the appeal is in full swing. This will be seen as him seeing the errors of his ways and a public apology will look good in front of the appeal panel. Or Barca have told him to do so in order to press on with transfer. Time will tell

I remember Rooney stamping on a Portuguese player at the WC in 2006 and then doing the same in the qualifiers for Euro 2012. However, instead of being given a heavier punishment UEFA reduced his ban from 3 games to 2. I don't recall the British media calling for Rooney to be punished further. Hypocrisy maybe. ???
