I don't believe that Liverpool or Kiarus are looking for any sympathy. The reason I believe that this was wade public was that Ramos got away with 2 dangerous so called tackles without any punishment. Also I feel the LFC want to highlight the point the Ramos is renowned for doing this in games without any punishment and out the UEFA and FIFA have done nothing about it. I don't understand why fans are looking for a replay that's not going to happen but what I personally would be looking for is that UEFA or FIFA relook at the fouls again and take action for them.

Ramos is smart, he's a prize burke too, but he's smart. He's felt the little push by VVD and seen an opportunity to clatter our goalie. If they go after him now he can just say "but I was pushed".
He's been doing this for years, it won't stop until he retires.
Teams just have to find a way to get under his skin, it's doable, look at how many needless red cards he's got over the years.
Time to put the whole thing behind us and move on to next season. I for one am very excited about that.
Look to the future, not to the past, whether that past is 2 weeks ago or 20 years ago.

I don't think it's anything to do with Ramos. It's to do with the club talking about our player, with the useful side effect of discussing a major danger being ignored in modern football despite every other sport taking steps to tackle it.

Nah i felt for Karius, biggest game of his life and he pretty much became the reason why we lost it. At least in the mainstream.
Other than the two mistakes he made, i thought he made some excellent saves to keep us in the match.
Now with the reported concussion the whole situation becomes more unfortunate.
Ive had a concussion before and the fact he played on is remarkable. You could ask why didn't he make anyone aware? Maybe he was too proud? Maybe he didn't know? Either way we lost.
Now to move on to whether it should of been made public? I guess to answer that would be to look at the intent to make it public? If it was to bring to light concussion awareness in football, and measures to prevent/ treat it, then you have my blessings, but all i've seen it used as is an excuse why we lost (not the official stance) . Which makes us look desperate and clinging to excuses.
We were hard done by in the final. Up until the Salah incident we were the better team by far.
What really needs sorted out is this abhorrent thing that is ramos. The fact everyone knows his reputation but he gets away with it is ridiculous, scandalous even. The sad thing is he will be remembered as one of the greats instead of the thug he actually is.

Eds I have just read a report from a Liverpool web site Red Addicts that Southampton have accepted an offer of £81m for VVD. Not sure if this site is trustworthy or not. Eds have you any news on this. Thanks guys for all your hard work here.

The website of one of his previous clubs (Celtic I presume) has a clear self-interest in posting such a rumour. They have a sell-on clause in the contract with which they sold him, so they stand to receive a percentage of any sale transaction with anyone.
