ED001 Just reading that Ngoo has had his loan spell ended by mutual consent. Can you shed any light on why he and texiera have both returned early from their loans. Or is it quite common for this to happen. Thanks mate. Good Luck Danny Murphy in whatever you do next what a player he was for Liverpool. {Ed001's Note - it is fairly common, it just means the manager finds he can't fit them in his team, for any number of reasons. In Ngoo's case, sadly, it seems he is just not performing well enough to get in the team.}

Klopp has to take the responsibility for the severity of the defeat, why would you take off our main attacking threat (Salah) when we were down to 10 men. He should have taken off a midfielder and added studge or solanke to maintain the attacking threat. Bad management in my opinion.

I do agree that it was a poor decision - it was akin to waving a white flag and admitting defeat. I think thisa had an effect on the players which is why they appeared to 'down tools' and stroll through the 2nd half. Red card or not I expect more from the players than that, not giving a 100%, irrespective of the circumstances, is not good enough.

Klopp has shown just how take typically lacking he is.

I see troubling times ahead, for all of the positiveness we have to see the facts for what they are, as soon as a team mark Coutinho out of the game we will be as sharp as a rolling pin. We will lump the ball up to Benteke who will have no-one to flick it onto. We have struggled to break down 2 of the lower echelon of teams in the Premier league. Hendo dropping in between the Centre halfs to pick the ball up didn't work for Gerrard last year so why would it be anything more than wasting forward options this year. Also to take a positive Ibe off and leave an ineffective Lallana on shows the tactical prowess we are dealing with yet again. We must play 2 up top to ease the pressure off Coutinho. A wonder strike and a fortuitous goal to gain 6 points does not fill me with confidence.

We over defended. We played 5 at the back and the midfield 2 sat too deep creating too much space in the centre for their midfield. Jordan Ibe was told to defend as he didn't take anyone on all night. The ploy was to draw them in and try and catch them on the counter attack using the pace of the front 3. It failed. He rolled the dice and lost. On another note we have a massive problem in the attacking sense of our game, we have too many individuals in attack that are more concerned with their own victories rather than the team this is identified by the amount of touches Studge, Sterling, Coutinho, Markovic, Balo and Lallana have in or around the box, when they play it early or shoot we score. I am all for creativity but this should not be confused with pure greed. Good luck on Sunday i'm quietly optimistic

Well we had about as much penetration as a digitless eunuch but we have somehow gotten through. The magic of the cup, the pitch, the hyped up opposition, the crowd etc etc. Anything but us being poor. Sakho was good and I loved watching the big lad upfront Akinfenwa especially when he did his "whirly turn" he played with a smile like an inflated Dwight yorke. Good game.

{Ed001's Note - good to see the lad score as well, he is a big Liverpool fan and would have loved that.}

Ed01, He is a massive Gerrard fan and would have swapped his shirt.

{Ed001's Note - it wouldn't fit him, and his shirt would be a tent for Gerrard!}

2.) Size of him.
It reminded me of a quote from a film I loved in the 80's called "Wildcats".
It had Woody Harellson and Wesley Snipes in it about an American Football team.
The quote "How did your folks let you get like this?". "He probably ate his folks."
Same applies for Akinfenwa.

Happy for him and imagine it was a dream come true for him. Still couldn't stop laughing at the fact coutinho and akinfenwa actually play the same sport though!

I would get rid of him NOW. I would rather take a chance on a caretaker manager for the remainder of this "written off" season. At least it would encourage change as it is quite obvious that Brendan is NOT going to change, there will be no bigger game this season that would require attacking football and his selection and substitutions were just bizarre. You blew it Brendan and you are now just embarrassing the club

Good evening Edd, did you mention a few years ago, when we were interested in him, that he had some hearing or balance issues?

{Ed001's Note - yes, due to loud noises.}

You have probably NEVER seen him play. Would you spend £300,000 on a house without viewing it? If he was to add immediate value then why were the bigger clubs not paying the asking price? Good call not wasting that amount of money if you ask me.
